Ditto on the high prices and lots of hidden problems. I like how she said it would be easy to put a dock in. Obviously everything is easy when someone else does the buying and working.
Thank you I just said the same thing is this a f****** foreclosure. Who wants that kind of money for a complete ransacked dump with grass up to the second level and they can't run a vacuum. F*** you I'm not interested
Interesting house & beautiful property.... It does need work & a person with imagination and vision... I appreciate you showing a wide range of properties and prices.
10k worth of clean-up around that house and it would look twice as good. Potential buyers also wouldn't wonder about hidden problems under all the vegetation. I think it's probably a great house under everything, but it's hard to know.
Agree with many - IF you factor in what $500K buys you here and using $150K as your budget for this house, you may just be able to get a new roof, some windows, and squeeze in some drywall. A kitchen and bath reno you'd have to add another $100K along. IF you can do any of this work, perhaps its a deal, but why? Really have to love this pond/location.
Beautiful spot but it looks like the homeowners haven't done any maintenance since 1989. It's the homeowners responsibility, not the renters. Having said that, I do love the home. It should be an easy sell. I think after buying it and putting $200-300 thousand in it, you would have a million-dollar house easily.
Someone will see 350k and think that's cheap and buy it. Also, at the end of the day, realtors are just salespeople. They make a living out of selling you.
LOL..$350K?!?!?! You're going to need THAT (!!) much to fix that place up, inside & out. ---TOO much of a headache to get involved with that place for all the TLC and sweat you need to dish out to restore...yes, Restore to something that is "reasonable" by a stretch. Those sides are weathered...hard. Shame on the owner....big time. Not-Ready.
That's a total s*** hole. That house is on salvageable and highly neglected. It must be a foreclosure I can't imagine anyone would sell a house dirty and want 350,000 that's asinine and preposterous. Total pass.
Yes you can build a single family home under 400k including the land near a lake in mane. This house will need at least 200k in repairs. Not worth it @ all! I really can't stand a Cocky real-estate agent. home buyers be ware of agents like this one. It's clearly seen that the house isn't worth the asking, and she is rude and doesn't get me started on the taxes. It's not worth it. Knock off 100gs in this housing market.
Yep ..you can find lake front lots for sale on small lakes warm water ponds in Maine for under 100K easy . Now you have another 250K to put up a nice new 4 season cabin with drilled well and installed septic
There is more problems then what is told, just my looking at the video. So the price is high for the type of work needs to be done. Shore line does not look the greatest either. No insulation by the looks in the attic. Heat loss is a problem. Maine is known for their problems in the government. So the taxes will go up. And only god knows what else you can run into for problems. Yard needs work, so you can figure 10,000. plus for the minor work

😂😂😂😂😂😂
For a $350k asking price, I would think the owner could at least push a mower around the yard and remove the plastic sheet from the window.

Sorry but for the price of this property, it should be turnkey ready.
Price is too high for all the repairs that need to be done
Out of state money is different than in state money.

Wonder what’s it goona cost to make livable? Been empty for a while with lots of hidden problems.
40к maybe
Price Is Way To High For All The Issues Not Including The Hidden Problems
lol that place is a wreck . Maybe 200K at best because you are going to be sinking another 150 K into it
Beautiful location. I think I'll watch "The Money Pit" now starring Tom Hanks and Shelley Long. Goodbye.
You people are nuts this house is fine hardly anything to redo that costs any money
@@thenarrator1984 Nope -- much more than that
@@zazubombay sorry but what
It is hardly a money pit. Perhaps it needs some cosmetic updating..but what a gorgeous spot.
@@jgator6694 Buy it.

*United Country Lifestyle Properties of Maine* Right next to the water, very nice. Thank-you for taking the time to show us around. GOD Bless.
Teardowns in north central mass are 350,000 so.... a fixer upper on a lake even in Maine... if you're a remote worker, no brainer.

Dude you are not going to have that on a 100 acre lake no matter how much money you sink into it . Moosehead lake sure

The tax is $380 a month. Probably going higher if you pay that price and fix it up.
Top of the line in 1939 guys... 80+ years ago. Guaranteed there's foundation damage

You dont need 200.000
The owner could have spent a month of weekends cleaning and painting and yard work to make the area much more attractive. The price is somewhat high.
Thanks for watching.
Good location for 80s horror movie😂
