1997 NBC Shows Promo with Seinfeld Festivus

NewsRadio ran for five seasons, Friends for ten, Union Square just one, Seinfeld for nine, Veronica's Closet went three, Suddenly Susan for four, Jenny for one, with 7 episodes not even airing, and Caroline in the City ran for 4 seasons. Look for Heather Dubrow of RHOC fame in Jenny promo. She's my favorite.

I always wondered why NBC couldn’t keep an established hit show on Thursdays at 830 between the two juggernauts Friends and Seinfeld

I understand wanting to spread out all week, but putting 3rd Rock or Newsradio on Thursdays could have made that night stacked.

NewsRadio was an underrated gem. It would have lasted longer if Phil Hartman had lived (no disrespect to Jon Lovitz).
