At least she was fed, hydrated, cleaned and kept warm. The school looked all concrete and steel not a nice place for bats to hit their heads. That baby looked so tiny and took to the bottle right away, I’m happy someone survived. Thank you
I am again shocked how many Batties die after they hit a window. I just learned the Batties can reach between 13 to 20 mph when flying. No wonder its so deadly when they crash at that speed with their little heads first. But I am happy for every baby rescued and after the lovely care, she surely knew that her precious Bub/Meg is in good hands.
As soon as you picked-up Bib I teared-up because she looked so helpless, same when she was eating.😪 R.I.P sweet Bib thank you Meg for taking good care of her. Little Meg looks adorable and I'm so happy she made it! Grow strong and healthy little one ❤ 😘
Oh Bib RIP. Seeing her alert & eating, she seemed so normal. Poor mama. Glad to see her baby is okay. Bub, now Meg.....will be flying high with a colony of her own.
Re-watching 05/24/24 with a heavy heart for poor Mumbat Bib!😓🦇💔-RIP. The happy heart is for her baby Bub, who went on to survive.🦇💕💕 Thank you Meg for your beautiful care and kindness!💕💕
I rescued and cared for Bib and baby Bub for the first night; the Princess did the interim care until Bib didn't make it. Baby Bub came back to me so I could find a carer; I think Bub went to Auntie Jack and was renamed Meg in gratitude (Auntie Jack hadn't had any babies in care for a year or 2, being somewhat out in the country with her local bat colony not being in residence).
So sorry for Bib's passing...at least she was in good hands, warm, fed, and her baby coldn't find another better mum as you! Thank you for your dedication to all these precious little creatures, and stay safe!!
Sorry about losing Bib. She was protective of her baby. At least she was warm, with a full belly, and her baby was near her. Thanks for the work you do.
I'm blown away by just how quickly some of these bats can realize they're safe and stop fighting you. You're a special kind of person, really, and that makes me so happy!
Bless Mumbat Bib's heart!!😭💔 She loved her little girl Bub.🦇💕💕 Thank You Meg for providing great care & love to both, you are so compassionate and so awesome too!!💕💕
So very sorry that mum Bib was lost. Seemed to be eating so well...She had love and comfort in her final hours. RIP 😪 Prayers for baby Bub (Meg) to flourish. 💜🦇💜
I have been binge watching your videos for the last 3 days & I have to say that my lack of knowledge/interest has definitely changed! They are such sweet adorable little things! I love watching how you interact with them and treat them with love & respect. It’s nice to see there are still good animal loving people in this messed up world.
@Tee Twetherlow Yes indeed I trust she does. I guess I just wanted to be a good Seward and remind 3/4 of people that dont hit the Thumbs Up to pls do it. I surely mean no offence and you seem to know her, so I wont repeat my request any longer. Cheers 🍻
Somehow I feel like this is one of the most heartwarming videos you have ever done. I am absolutely SWOONING over Bib's little heart-shaped tongue blep. She seemed to be actively listening to you. I'm so glad she got such great personal TLC and loving connection before she passed. I feel like she felt seen and acknowledged and loved
She was eating so good that I was hopeful for recovery for sweet Bib. Meg, you do an awesome job of taking care of these precious creatures. Hope little Meg does as well in life as her namesake.
Sweet and tolerant girl mama was. She looked promising seeing her eat and more alert. She died in loving care with meds for her pain. Glad baby is doing good.
Bib , You were very brave battie mom! May your legacy be carried on through the beautiful little baby Bub! You fought hard and was very gentle to your caring mom while you were in care. rest in peace now with all the other batties, in bat heaven!
Bib was so sweet. I am sad that she didn't make it. But she sure enjoyed that fruit and your loving care while she was here. Her baby is just gorgeous and I hope she will grow up strong with memories of her mama in her heart.
What a bittersweet outcome. Poor Bib. I did think she was remarkably calm for a wild adult..obviously it was her head injury. RIP lovely lady. I'm glad she's her lovely legacy survives. Good luck little Bub. Thanks Meg and carers.
sad to hear that mum passed, i'm sure she was grateful for the good food and warmth while in your care. i wish little meg the best, if she is anything like her namesake she will be a fighter! looks like you ended up bandaging your glucose tube after all!
Dammit, I really thought we had two survivors after watching the vid. I just need to start reading the description first because I'm so often wrong and disappointed. Nice job, Meg.
I am so glad you were there to make Bib's last hours comfortable and to take care of her baby. I have so much respect for you and the work that you do.
Bub is in care with another carer. There are vids of her - she was called Piaf for a few days while she was with me, but she ended up with another carer who called her Meg. Search for Megabattie/Piaf in the YT search bar and you might find it. It was about 2 weeks ago. I don't think there was a video specifically on her, but she made cameo appearances in some of the other vids.
@@Megabattie I did see those cameos/day in the life. I was really interested in the release aviary process. Thanks for your dedication to these magnificent creatures
I'm so sad to see that mom passed away. Bib was such a beautiful mom, rest easy, your baby is in great and loving hands. Bub, is a gorgeous little chirped. I love the noises that makes. Thank you sharing Meg ❤❤❤
Mum Bib was very very concussed - she had little contact with reality and was in extreme trouble neurologically. She didn't even fight me over anything and was very vague. I like caring for them and I really like doing the rescues. The Princess is the best carer for head injuries in Sydney, so of course Bib and Bub went to her which gave Bib the best chance at survival. When she didn't survive, baby Bub went to Aunty Jack to be raised; she was delighted by having a baby in care. I also took her Piaf who was renamed Maggie (because Maggie and I drove the babies up to Jack). I wasn't as confident when I started, and this was a learning curve over years. I'm confident now because I'm not scared of the bats so I just catch and assess.
Sorry about momma Bib Meg I thought mom was doing well .. you did your best ... but at least her baby is fine and I’m sure Bub will do well she’s in good care ... great job ..to all of you bless you ❤️🦇🦇🦇🦇

Oh poor little Bib..you can tell she was in a bad way. Love it, Meg is a survivor....I hate to see any casualty 💔🥺💔 I just love their little chirps, they are all different. You took such good care of them❤️

And it’s so cool her carer renamed Bub MEG !!! 🥰😊
Mom was so calm and let you handle her poor thing I’m so happy she had a nice person feeding her all the fruit she could get into her mouth... I know I asked before but stay with me... do you think she knew something was wrong and she remembered that people helped her before so that’s why she went to the people to get help..... I know I know silly question now that I read it I keep putting human feelings on animals but I’m still gonna ask.... I’ve been taught that a stupid question is the one never asked so I’m asking..?🧐
I honestly believe animals can often sense when someone means them no harm. Sometimes they are just too tired or hurt to fight back, and it's hard to be mad about someone kind feeding you and keeping you safe. Also, some people just seem to have that magic that animals respond well to. Meg has tons of it... as well as the experience to not do the subtle things that will get her bit, lol. :)
That's so strange how she came back to the same place. Like mother's intuition that someone will come to care for her baby. She hung on to be sure. Heartbreaking, I'll say it again. Thank God for you guys!
I don't believe she came back to the same place twice I think there were bats. but also I think some of the kids may be involved - it's too weird a thing with too little access.
