Right, and Watson had very little to do with it. Even at 5-1 the defense held them together. Joe Flacco's poise and experience has brought a cohesiveness that Watson can't touch.

@@MeneerHerculePoirot He has like 7 turnovers in 3 games? Quickly forgotten he has pretty much given up 30 points himself. He was clutch for sure on Sunday, but Watson was also clutch vs Baltimore. Unfair to say the defence didn't hold the team together on Sunday when they gave up 3 points on drives started outside the 1 yard line..

Coaching goes a long way. The talent on the field needs the right plays & schemes. They need someone to set them on the path that he sets. That's what we have now with Schwartz.

@@trueview977 January Joe is a different breed, if you know anything about it then you'd know that he's dangerous in the post season. There's a reason why teams don't want to face the Browns in the playoffs. Sure, interceptions are never good but if we keep winning games it won't really matter, especially when those mistakes get cleaned up. Against the Bears was only Joe's 3rd game as a Brown. Don't sleep on the Browns like the Bears did, because the Bears are in hibernation now. Lol

The true view Ravens Fan must remember that at halftime during Lamar Jackson's first playoff game, many Ravens fans were clamoring for Joe to come into the game to rescue the Ravens against the Chargers and Philip Rivers. Now, Lamar is 1-3 in the playoffs. True View mentioned that Joe had five terrible years after winning the zsuper Bowl 47. Could it have anything to do with the way the Ravens organization decimated the Super Bowl team and never gave Joe the necessary weapons to win games? 😮 In a game in Baltimore or Cleveland in cold weather, I'll take Joe Flacco over Lamar Jackson hands down.

Culture takes time to build. We are seeing the bi-product of patience and consistency. My impression from the fanbase is positive overall, however a residual negative affect still lingers, like a victim of spousal abuse or betrayal that finally meets a good man or woman but is so damaged from years of abuse that they can’t recognize someone decent. I feel a little of that going on here, the reluctantly to trust is real😂

I am loving Joe! My only thought on the third int trying to pass to njoku is I agree he was just a second late and I don’t believe he accounted for the guy on the left. He held the right safety, and the play was open. The free safety made a good diving catch. I do believe it could have been avoided had Flacco thrown over the top to the back of the end zone he hits Njoku in a better window. I loved DPJ but, Tillman is showing to be a better all around playmaker. He’s getting more separation in these few games he’s played in. He’s putting himself in position to not have to make the spectacular catch.

Now even the naysayers have to shut their mouths. Yes hes not perfect, but hes been with the team a month and is 2-1, almost a thousand yards. Skys the limit even with this insanely injured team!

Said at the start of the season 9-8 and miss the playoffs. That was before they had a PROVEN NFL QB. Watson always has potential...still does. But, I've seen journeyman play at best. Yeah, they were 5-1 with Watson, but that was in spite of not because of him. The offense immediately looked like a legit NFL offense from the 1st possession with Flacco. With a week"s prep he looked the most poised of any of them. Everyone's celebrating and they could finish 10-7 and still miss the playoffs. Teams are packed in like sardines under the Browns. They have to win out. Too many teams will finish 11-6. They're the only team in that bunch with a 12-5 potential. If they don't win out they wont be the highest seeded wildcard. Everyone else has 6 losses. If they get to the AFC title game they need to cut Watson loose. Give Flacco a team incentive based contract and ride with him for 2 more years. Watson's finished. He quit on his team and he's not a winner.

No it needs to happen is Barry and Watson need to go I'm just going to have to lick his wounds that Andrew Berry got him to spend that much money on a loser a quitter so how's them needs to fire Andrew Berry get rid of Watson he's a cancer in the locker room sign Flacco for 2 years get a good pocket passing quarterback that can run if he needs to run and let him learn behind Flacco this is how the Browns need to do it like a professional organization not sign quarterback after quarterback we finally found one let's keep him happy he has a good at least a year and a half two years left in him without a doubt!

Watson is still a huge stain. Image what we could bring in without him on the cap. Huge gamble, huge upside. Huge failure. I don't give that lack of judgement a pass. Could be honest contenders with a couple more pieces. I miss Chubb so damn much. Dat D though.

the Browns are becoming a great organization? probably not. the thing is, people who are great at their jobs are often opinionated and can rub people the wrong way. Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has openly declared a disdain for such people. That means if Stefanski and / or Andrew Berry develop into great talents, they will get increasingly more opinionated and Haslam will drive them out. This happened with Marty Schottenheimer and Bill Belichick under Art Modell. Haslam also drove out GM John Dorsey who was a great GM and set the team in the right direction really quickly.

@@devonnemallory5935 John Dorsey had the BEST draft in Browns history in 2018. He took Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward, Austin Corbett (whom the Browns coaches mismanaged and he went on to be a core cog of the Rams super bowl team), and Nick Chubb. Those were major pieces to the Browns playoff team in 2020, a stunning turnaround from the 0-16 club Not only that, but when Hugh Jackson refused to play Chubb much in 2018 in favor of Carlos Hyde, Dorsey abruptly traded Hyde to force Hugh to play Chubb. God knows what Chubb's fate was had Dorsey not done that.

Deshawn watson is the worst move this team has ever made. Not just by giving him 230 million cash guaranteed. We gave away three number one picks for the next three years. I don't believe no one in the n f l has ever made a dumbass move in NFL history.
