I remember a time when ahsoka was so dislike that people had nothing nice to say about her. Now she’s one of the most beloved characters as well as one of the best characters in Star Wars. I’m so happy how far she’s come.
I'm just glad it happened in the opposite direction, for once. George Lucas is no stranger to creating a character nobody likes, as _everyone_ hated C-3P0 in the first film. But Lucas viewed him as a necessary character to balance the others (show their cool, or how well they tolerate an annoyance), and he stuck to his guns. Not so, with Jar-Jar. I feel like Lucas wanted a repeat "I am your father" moment, in the prequel trilogy, and he wanted to do it with a beloved character suddenly turning evil (or revealing themselves to have been the Phantom Menace, the whole time). Didn't work, though, because the world/internet/Star Wars fans turned on Jar-Jar harder than anyone ever did C-3P0, which ruined George's plan, forcing him to abandon it. But picture it, Maul wasn't Sidious' apprentice (even if he wanted him to be), he was a _Sith Assasain_ (who fell in a hole half a man, and crawled back a Sith Lord). I think that Palpatine already had an apprentice in Jar-Jar. They hail from the same planet, nothing stops him from finding Jar-Jar out and about one day (both feel weird presence, go to see, meet one another). There's no reason they couldn't have known one another if not before Sheev met Plagueis, then shortly after. Palpatine takes his training to Jar-Jar, and they silently practice with one another in the off hours. Thing I really like is their personal affinities in the force. Palpatine = Lightning Jar-Jar = Force stealth (using the force, and in the presence of Jedi, without them even realizing it) And it's even better that they've been helping the other, with their own strength, leading Palpatine to be able to hide his presence, and still operate, around Jedi, and it allows Jar-Jar to take an electric beam *TO THE FACE,* meant to hold together two screaming rockets, without much more than "numb tongue!" Also, how Maul even knew to look on Tatooine for them (Jar-Jar called him). How Queen Amadela, hell bent on saving her people as quickly as possible, suddenly decided to go people watching against the better judgment of her Jedi guard, with Jar-Jar silently moving his lips while she talks like some kind of Jedi mind trick. .....I see the road not taken..... Edit: Sebulba about to punch him, Jar-Jar waves his hand, Sebulba lowers his fist a second before young Anakin intervenes.

Just seeing that part again where she starts interrogating Morgan almost made me start crying. Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano is a blessing to behold forever. Her voice is so powerful and commanding, yet gentle and zen.
There’s too many of my favourite clips from Ashoka; but I can tell you the worse moment. The moment when she left the Jedi Order not only emotional, but also made me cry.
@tufab3494 nope. My opinion still stands. Everything pure, honest, and heartfelt about Ahsoka Tano was brought to life by Ashley Eckstein. There is no light in Dawson's portrayal, only a bitterness and unresolved anger as shown the the 5th episode of Ahsoka where she is reunited with Anakin. Reliving all those moments of her past in flashbacks only cements her melancholy attitude. This defies the light of the character who is literally the embodiment of Ashla, the force itself and whom Ahsoka embraces when she is filled with the spirit of the daughter (the light side of the force) from Mortis. The only moment I see that comes close to Dawson's understanding of Ahsoka is the brief moment when she goes dark in the confrontation between her and Anakin, as it is reflective of the dark Ahsoka from Mortis. But even there, it would only be because they are in the world between worlds; because she was reliving those moments of her past. Ahsoka's true essence is light, and again, Dawson doesn't have it.
@@tanostreasures5076I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s for this exact reason I refuse to watch live action Ahsoka. The few moments I saw in mandalorian showed me all my fears of having the character ruined were being realised and this comment just solidified my opinion. I love the character so much, literally grew up alongside her. I knew as soon as I heard that instead of continuing her story through animation, they were gonna do live action that they were gonna butcher the job :(
@@tanostreasures5076Rosario’s performance was intentional. If she couldn’t do what Dave wanted with Ahsoka then they would’ve gotten someone else, acting like you know the character better than the person who has been actively writing her story for the past 15 years is a really strange choice. seems like you let expectations get the better of you 🥱
I also like how they kinda use Ashoka as a stand in for Anakin to fight Grievous, in the Clone Wars, as they never met until the 3rd movie. Anakin: "I thought you'd be taller...."
It's amazing how far Ahsoka has come. Back in 2008 when she first appeared I didn't like her one bit. But damn as the years went by she would go on to become one of my favorite characters in the franchise thanks to the way her story was built and how cool she become. Now that her live action series started, I'm thrilled to see what's next for Snips.
Training with the 501st I want a retcon of this, showing Anakin having nightmares about Ashoka being gunned down. As the way of force dreams, he doesn't see her attackers, just know that she's surrounded, gunned down, and slumped over a console when he wakes with a start. Then the training starts. He trains her to take on overwhelming odds, until she actually starts to succeed and the dreams.....just stop..... Gives Anakin the agency to think his dreams are controllable, that the future isn't set, but also lures him right down the path to create that future himself without realizing it before it's too late
I hope the Ahsoka series has a flashback to her meeting Luke. Even for Ahsoka you know that meeting Anakin and Padmé’s son and learning how Anakin died would be a tearjerker.
Ahsoka became one of my fave SW characters the episode she was introduced. Her unadulterated spunk won me over. And she only got better as they added more character to her over time.
"...I'm no Jedi" is the most quintessential Star Wars quote since "May the Force be with you". Ashley Eckstein did a super, flawless, legendary, epic, amazing and (I'm running out of adjectives) work with her work as Ahsoka. Sure, Rosario hasn't disappointed and all the power to her, but Ashley mastered her character.
A character who started off as an annoying child is now a beloved character from all Star Wars fans! I cannot wait to see how her show turns out. Hopefully there’s even more amazing moments in the show as well!🤩🤩
She brings a unique fighting style, with both a full length blade and an off-hand shoto blade. Form V absolutely suits her, favoring a strong defense and swapping immediately to an equally powerful offense when she sees an opening.
I'm a Star Wars fan from way back to 1977. I ended up watching the Clone Wars with my kids. My youngest was Ashoka for Halloween one year. In a way, she grew up to adulthood with my real kids... so, there's a lot love for her for that. They're grown, but, we get together to watch the new series!
What i like about Ahsoka tbe most is that she started out annoying. She was a little over confident, very brash and frustrating. But as she made mistakes, she learned and grew, and as she got stronger she matured. Her growth into a legit Jedi badass is incredible
Im so happy to see that my favorite moment also happened to be that number one pick but it really deserves that spot 100%. Especialyl when she slashed vaders mask and they had that dialogue, they mixed vaders and anakins voice when he says "Ahsoka".
Ahsoka is definitely one of the best Star Wars characters with alot of greasy moments, and no doubt one of the best still alive even in the sequel trilogy movies, hope to see her get more great moments in Star Wars in the future in both animation and live action.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I'm switching 1 and 2. The maul fight is just pure star wars, the best we've ever seen. I don't think I've ever felt joy quite like when they announced series 7 of TCW and thr best part about it is imo it rlly separates the wheat from the chaff in the fan base bc of how many ppls refuse to watch an animated show. Almost out of snobbery. Shame for them of course as anyone who's seen it all knows that clone wars is the best star wars content ever produced and a couple episodes of rebels got close. Mando and ahsoka are looking fully strong to match that high bar
I never knew she got any, sure there was a good amount of dislike early on when she was to child like and anoying for some of the fans but she evolved masterfully, instead of seeing that part of the character as bad it's just her evolving as a person. I personally loved ever second of Ahsoka from when I first saw her when the CW animated movie came out to now.
Wait! Why is her meeting Din and Grogu so low? That should be in the top 10 to 15 at least! Her first live action appearance was glorious! Though those last two duels absolutely deserve the top spots. I can’t wait to see her light saber combat in Ahsoka.
Real quick, can we talk about the fact that Ashoka went out of her way risking her life for Barris and barris basically just goes „sure, have a nice day“ and betrayes her?
I always liked ahsoka liked her even more when she started calling anakin sky guy lol and then anakin calling her snips priceless. Loved how the two of them bonded but it hurt so much to it end, it was one relationship that was completely genuine outside of the clones! You should update this to show the true best Ahoska moment. When she finds true balance in the force, and becomes Ahsoka the White. After all of her struggles, and development, she finally learns to let go, and find peace with her past....everything you list here.
The clip of the Battle on Malachor was so badass and so emotional. When she answers with "I am no Jedi" and "I won't leave you... not this time" it was really tough watching that after everything in clone wars. The animated series really catch those emotions and address those boundries between the characters really well. Thats something i feel like is a little lacking in the live action shows.

There’s too many of my favourite clips from Ashoka; but I can tell you the worse moment. The moment when she left the Jedi Order not only emotional, but also made me cry.
Join the club, and I'm an old guy
Ashley Eckstein & Rosario Dawson powerfully brought the character to life!🤩✊
@@borrago let's see in a hour if your opinion changes
I knew as soon as I heard that instead of continuing her story through animation, they were gonna do live action that they were gonna butcher the job :(
@@borragowell that is your opinion, and for you it is merited. Others disagree and quite frankly their opinions have just as much merit for them.
@@tanostreasures5076Rosario’s performance was intentional. If she couldn’t do what Dave wanted with Ahsoka then they would’ve gotten someone else, acting like you know the character better than the person who has been actively writing her story for the past 15 years is a really strange choice. seems like you let expectations get the better of you 🥱
Love Ahsoka can’t wait for the series and love these moments of her ❤
I also like how they kinda use Ashoka as a stand in for Anakin to fight Grievous, in the Clone Wars, as they never met until the 3rd movie.
Anakin: "I thought you'd be taller...."
Space assault to Ryloth blockade is and always will be one my favorite Ahsoka and Clone Wars moments. That space battle was epic!
Training with the 501st
I want a retcon of this, showing Anakin having nightmares about Ashoka being gunned down.
Interesting.
"You don't understand. I'm not here to team up with you. I need a diversion and you're it."
I love ahsoka so much, she's my 2nd fav star wars charecter
She’s probably the best character to come exclusively from the shows and not movies and I could say that for any show not just Star Wars
I hope the Ahsoka series has a flashback to her meeting Luke. Even for Ahsoka you know that meeting Anakin and Padmé’s son and learning how Anakin died would be a tearjerker.
This is something I _need_ to see
Din Djarin: * holds out hand * "AHSOKA TANO!" * but also gun *
I love Mandlorians
Ahsoka became one of my fave SW characters the episode she was introduced. Her unadulterated spunk won me over. And she only got better as they added more character to her over time.
Clone Wars was my favorite show on CN and slowly turned Ahsoka into my favorite Star Wars Character
It inspired me to watch CN.
She's everything Rey could never be--
Loved by the fans.
A character who started off as an annoying child is now a beloved character from all Star Wars fans! I cannot wait to see how her show turns out. Hopefully there’s even more amazing moments in the show as well!🤩🤩
Ahsoka also gained huge biceps.💪🏻
Imagine watching this as a non Star Wars fan, and seeing how much screen time a side character who doesn’t appear in the films gets
Loved this video. Ashoka is my number one favorite character from this whole frnachise.
17:51 when my brothers and I were first watching this scene, we started shouting hysterically when she said “Thrawn.”
Can't wait. Hope we see flashbacks of other loved Jedi from the republic.
We don’t see much Aayla Secura in live action. I’m now wondering if Amy Allen would’ve spoken as well as acted.
Their need to be another top 20 after the Ashoka series finale
She brings a unique fighting style, with both a full length blade and an off-hand shoto blade. Form V absolutely suits her, favoring a strong defense and swapping immediately to an equally powerful offense when she sees an opening.
Ahsoka and Anakin's story are the reason I am a Star Wars fan.
Good video and clips. I think number 6 should be #3. That escape from order 66 was something special. Kept me on edge of seat entire episode.
What i like about Ahsoka tbe most is that she started out annoying. She was a little over confident, very brash and frustrating. But as she made mistakes, she learned and grew, and as she got stronger she matured. Her growth into a legit Jedi badass is incredible
Ahsoka is a great example of a character going through power scaling.
Im so happy to see that my favorite moment also happened to be that number one pick but it really deserves that spot 100%. Especialyl when she slashed vaders mask and they had that dialogue, they mixed vaders and anakins voice when he says "Ahsoka".
Ahsoka is my fav Star Wars character. For me she is the heart of the franchise.
she was always my fav character since day 1, her whole story is iconic
Amazing video Rebecca from watch mojo of best moments of Ashoka Tano throughout all of Star Wars franchises ever, fantastic job.
Ahsoka is definitely one of the best Star Wars characters with alot of greasy moments, and no doubt one of the best still alive even in the sequel trilogy movies, hope to see her get more great moments in Star Wars in the future in both animation and live action.
Shows how much audience love a character when it's development is done right.
My favorite time was in the clone wars movie. When Asoka jumps onto the walker and protects it from the droids as it climbed the shear cliff.
All these moments just prove that Ahsoka is the BEST character in the whole Star Wars universe.
Always loved Ahsoka’s character. Never understood the hate she got
I hate ahsoka 🤢
@@itzWoOwPeople are idiots. You included.
@@twojacksandanace3847I thought she was reckless and obnoxious too, but I didn’t hate her. I even thought she looked sexy in her getup back then.
Ashokas character development is among the best in the franchise.
Wait! Why is her meeting Din and Grogu so low? That should be in the top 10 to 15 at least! Her first live action appearance was glorious! Though those last two duels absolutely deserve the top spots. I can’t wait to see her light saber combat in Ahsoka.
The action aside, Ahsoka leaving the order will always bring me to tears and will also always be my number one moment
Since the start of the clone wars animated series ashoka has moved herself to the top of my list of favorite star wars characters.
Ahsoka vs Maul is goated! Probably my favorite moment of hers
One of the best characters in the entire franchise.
You don't think that inqusitor is Galen Marek!?
Cool, now let’s make a Top 100 Ahsoka Moments cause she is simply so cool!
Real quick, can we talk about the fact that Ashoka went out of her way risking her life for Barris and barris basically just goes „sure, have a nice day“ and betrayes her?
Actual Ray Park dueling Ahsoka. The moves, the skills. The prequel duels are the best we got out of all of Star Wars and Maul was one of the best.
I always liked ahsoka liked her even more when she started calling anakin sky guy lol and then anakin calling her snips priceless. Loved how the two of them bonded but it hurt so much to it end, it was one relationship that was completely genuine outside of the clones! Ahsoka and Vader facing off in rebels was just so beautiful and painful to watch I wasn't ready for her to die, God bless ezra!
I think #20 should have been higher. Yeah, it was short, but it showed just how much Ahsoka's skills had grown throughout the clone wars with Anakin as her teacher. Normal force users are no match for her now. Ahsoka has been my all-time favorite character and hero ever since she came into our lives back in 2008 and seeing how far she has come from being a character hardly anyone liked to a character everyone can’t get enough of nowadays really warms my heart I hope the Ahsoka series has a flashback to her meeting Luke. Even for Ahsoka, you know that meeting Anakin and Padmé’s son and learning how Anakin died would be a tearjerker. I'll never understand why the Sith never take the easy kill shots. The Inquisitors had Kanan and yet decided to kick him instead of running him through. Then Maul decided to try to slice Ahsoka rather than slice the beam in front of him. No wonder they kept losing. What do you think Ashoka_Tano would be like if she didn't decide to leave the Jedi Order after they made serious accusations about her after she got framed?
Since the start of to start of clone wars animated series, Ashoka has moved herself to the top of my list of favorite star wars characters. There needs to be another top 20 after the Ashoka series finale Why am I a fanboy tearing up with glee while watching this!?! Maybe cuz we're hours away from the Ahsoka premiere! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 Ahsoka is my favorite Star Wars character she and Aniken had a very nice relationship in the Clone Wars TV show I always wondered if the story of Padawan's loss and Wookie hunt. Were star wars attempting to do a PREDATOR story? The capturing and releasing of prey on their hunting grounds seems similar to the PREDATORS movie. Another possible reference was when Ahsoka was covered In dirt for the final fight. Makes me wonder how a real Predator would fair in a Star Wars, setting. My favorite time was in the clone wars movie. When Asoka jumps onto the walker and protects it from the droids as it climbed the shear cliff. Unarmed Ahsoka versus the inquisitor belongs in the top 5. It was pretty epic. For me, the Maul fight was better but her dual with Vader packed a massive emotional punch I love Ahsoka so much, she's my 2nd fav star wars character Can't wait. Hope we see flashbacks of other loved Jedi from the Republic. Was there any doubt about what the top two would be? However, I can see the order going either way. Those two duels were insane. I feel she gets more attention than she should and puts in everything but still has a good character

It’s an imperfect character that Star Wars took its time to develop and showed a clear progress throughout the story.
Idk abt u guys but I loved her from the moment she made her first appearance. That’s my biggest flex 😂 She is definitely my fav character in all of Star Wars!
Ahsoka Tano Lives in All of Us🧡💙🤍⚔️
I want to meet Ashley Eckstein again.

Anakin still manhandling snips when she’s literally possessed by the embodiment of the dark side is still an impressive display of his unmatched power in the force
Excited for the show
So am I
Same only one more day.
@@Reaperguy67It drops tonight at 9 p.m. where I live. As for the NSFW profile pictures, why is it so hard for TH-cam to get their act together and BAN THEM? There are just too many to track, and the Patrona ones keep spamming the same thing with different timestamps.

I did not know that about Ahsoka vs Maul duel. So glad Ray Park came back. 19:14
By the time I finish this, the Ahsoka episodes will premiere. Yeaaah!!!
Ashoka's my second favourite Star Wars character. My favourite being Captain Rex
The Vader/Ahsoka fight synced with Duel of the Fates video that is out. Perfection. Highly recommend.
Can we also have a “Top 10 Worst Things to Happen to Ahsoka” video as well?
Some these could include:
-Getting kidnapped by Trandoshans
-Used as leverage by Cad Bane to make Anakin open the holocron
-Getting figuratively backstabbed and framed by Barriss
-Getting turned to the Dark Side by The Son of Mortis
-Nearly getting killed by General Grievous
-Getting an unfair trial from the Jedi Council and getting expelled for a crime she didn’t commit
Don't forget losing trust in the Jedi Order because they try to cover up their tracks by saying it was a "test" instead of admitting that they screwed up
15:39-15:47 Technically, Ahsoka did kill a few clone troopers when Order 66 initially happens.
Her duel with Darth Vader will always be the best Ahsoka Tano moment.
Ahsoka is my favourite Star Wars character her and Aniken had a very nice relationship in the Clone Wars TV show
One of my first ever childhood crushes
I like The Master vs The Apprentice duel because for one second, Anakin stop to think about what he became and could go back to light after Ahsoka said that she wasnt leave him again, and then went back full Vader
You've always been a Jedi to me, Ahsoka. Always.
These were awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

You should update this to show the true best Ahoska moment. When she finds true balance in the force, and becomes Ahsoka the White. After all of her struggles, and development, she finally learns to let go, and find peace with her past....everything you list here.
The clip of the Battle on Malachor was so badass and so emotional. When she answers with "I am no Jedi" and "I won't leave you... not this time" it was really tough watching that after everything in clone wars. The animated series really catch those emotions and address those boundries between the characters really well. Thats something i feel like is a little lacking in the live action shows.
When Ashoka first appeared in the movie, I was rolling my eyes wondering how Anakon had an apprentice. By the time she left I was bawling my eyes out.
My favorite moment was her burying the clones. The music the setting and all she went though yet she still buried them.
How you said it makes you wonder what would’ve happened if Anaken left another good question is what would’ve happened if Asoka stayed would’ve Anakin become Darth Vader
Loved the video 🤣
Ahsoka is my favorite fictional character of alltime ❤
Great list, pretty sure we have a new #1 now though.
Never thought I'd see the day
