I have the same problem. My phone 11 is on the most current iOS 17.1.2 and my new IPhone 15 is on IOS 17.0.2. And I can’t update it. It’s so frustrating.

Yes. It actually transfers everything (i mean every little thing) including your whole photos library, with the same organized albums and everything.
Transfer from near iPhone, is actually a better way to transfer to a new iPhone, rather than “Restore from iCloud backup”. Restoring from iCloud sometimes doesn’t restore all your recent data, sometimes not always.

You can’t get malware or viruses on apple unless you’ve jailbroke your device

I recently got the new iPhone 15. My old iPhone was the SE. When I tried to transfer my phone number it started telling me that I needed to contact apple because I was unable to transfer my phone number or instal cellular. I saw a bunch of people online setting up their iPhone at home so I thought I could do the same thing. Should I take it somewhere to finish setting it up or am I doing something wrong?

@@mahnoormustafa5519 The SE is extremely affordable for the quality of the phone. I had it for about four years and it had no technical problems. With a a good case, and that thing is invincible. Amazing durability. I would definitely recommend it. I only switched to the 15 because I had a family member that offered me $250 for the iPhone SE.

@@monicaburrell9657 Unfortunately, no. I haven’t taken it into version yet so, for 2 months I’ve had to live without data and connect to family member’s hotspots and WiFi which, is a real pain in the butt. I will keep you updated once I take it into version.

But recently I tried transferring from 14 pro max to 15 pro max its doesn’t go through, even through iCloud transfer it doesn’t work then when i checked with apple store they said if you have more data around 400 GB and it will corrupt again and again..What is the solution ? They said you have reach apple support through phone.

This method will also transfer the bad stuff such as viruses. I learned the hard way. If your old phone is infected then your new phone will be too

@@johnsondunkerson3100 it happened to me. I had a virus on my phone that attached itself to my Callander so I deleted the Callander thing it was gone but then after the transfer it was on the calendar on the new phone.
U can only get virus on iphone if you jailbroke your phone
