Dr. Sam, thank you for such informative video. I have been looking for a crash course to learn on this particular subject and found the content and your delivery just perfect. If anyone is interested, I have noticed that once in a while (every 2 to 3 weeks), my right temporal arteries (I checked for a pulse to make sure) get inflamed and more noticeable. This also occurs to the left side. I have made a correlation between my left side and stomach issues I have; however, I have no explanation for the right side. They seem to change back and forth and never seen both side flare up at the same time. The flare up will last for and avg. of 3 days and then subsides. BP is normal, no headache, pain, blurred vision. 42 yr old male. I do and have had dermatitis on mustache / beard locations for manny years. Any thoughts/advice?
I can feel mine too everyday i first started feeling my artery’s for about 2 weeks now I don’t know why but it’s concerning to me I can feel it pulsing on the side of my ear, my temples on top of my head and also the back
Bofa Boy same bro, I feel them on the exact same spots and also Ive been having some headaches these days. I would advice you to not fixate too much on it, as anxiety can make it worse. I want to visit the doctor but with all this COVID situation its pretty hard at the moment. Please update me if you stop feeling them or know what can be causing them.
Martín I will man. What I can tell you is I remember when it first started because I recently have been having acid reflux and I remember I was eating food and then I vomited that food up and 20 minutes later I started having those pulsing symptoms I did not think much of it until I noticed it more than one day I can also feel a pulsing like this in my stomach like a heartbeat I know for a fact I do not have stress nor anxiety so that’s why I am concerned because it’s just so random. I tried making an appointment to the doctors but I had to get a covid 19 nasal swab test before I can schedule an appointment which I did I am still waiting on those results as well as when I can schedule an appointment so I can get my blood checked because I think it maybe could be cholesterol or high blood pressure idk
Bofa Boy really? Mine started as a abdominal pulse too, I was taking a bath and started feeling it. Ever since that Ive been feeling it on my chest firstly, and now on my face and head. I can tell you I did a BIG BIG mistake and searched my symptoms on internet. The internet can be very harsh sometimes, when I first searched about my stomach pulsations 2,3 articles about Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm came up, Im usually a calm person but I don’t know why I convinced myself that I had one of those, and I was going to die, even though it would be very rare considering my age(17). I went to the cardiologist and all the tests came fine, but I wasnt satisfied and continued searching for diseases and conditions and things, this made things worse and then I started feeling my pulses on my head. So my advice would be dont search anything on the internet and even though sometimes we feel like were not anxious or preoccupied, we are. Im now waiting for things to calm out, to go see the doctor so now Im going to try to work on myself and my mental health as this can be really exhausting. So dont worry too much about it and always be positive. Please update when you can and I will too. All the best!
