The fact that people are shocked multivitamins and omegas are what he prescribed shows how little understanding people have of how important those vitamins are in overall brain, body and mood health.

A doctor prescribing vitamins, who would imagine. You are a precious gift to the world, Dr. Thank you for being you and doing what you do. 🧡🙏🏼🌕 And amazing thank you to Kevin for his vulnerability and openness to continue to grow and seek out our common birthright to thrive in this life, even after all his surviving, amazing service and notoriety. I feel like it would be easy to say no I am a survivor I am great. He shows us that no, lets go further, let’s thrive. Lets be our best selves. Faith and grace. Incredible. Inspiring, and beautiful 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

his brain scans are a scam all you have to do is look at thourough nutrition blood tests. almost all health issues are just nutrition deficiencies includung mental health issues. a myers cocktail iv and vitamin d injection will cure you in about a week. the main deficiencies are b vitamins, vitamin d and magnesuim. that can be fixed fast and easy with a myers cocktail iv and d injections, try it and you feell massive improvement and no need for toxic meds.

Here is a man, Kevin Hines, who recommends that people ask for and get help instead of being silent. And he is seeking and receiving help from Dr. Daniel Amen. Kevin Hines practices what he preaches and continues to grow. Thank you Kevin Hines and thank you Dr. Daniel Amen.

I started taking Omegas after chemo. You wld not believe how much we need Omegas. Its essential. Omega 3's & 6's.....but there has to be a "balance". Too much Omega 6's cause inflammation, etc. We do need both Omegas 3 & 6, but in "balance". I get my Omega's from Ancient Nutrition. Also, keeping your Vit D levels at an adequate level helps your mood. So much processed foods (boxed/canned foods) have ruined our health......the chemicals that are added to these foods to give them "shelf life" are just a few things that are harming our brains. Hundred years ago, our grandparents did not add chemicals to the foods they gardened, nor sprayed their crops with chemicals that deplete the nutrients/vitamins from the rich soil.

My favorite guys, Dr. Daniel Amen and Kevin Hines, two pioneers in opening minds and hearts to destigmatizing humanity on mental health. Kevin, bro you are a walking, talking miracle. Thanks Doc for recognizing the power of neural elasticity and how there doesn't always have to be a medication intervention.

All the best to you and your daughter. I went through this with my own daughter when she was 15.
It is very hard to see your own child go through this.

So that’s it? After all that he’s just giving him a multivitamin ?

It’s truly that simple. I’m not a doctor or a nurse but because of my own health issues, I have become extremely knowledgeable about the huge role nutrients play in physical, emotional and mental health. I learned that if left too long, a vitamin B 12 deficiency can cause permanent psychosis. Instead of nourishing patients, doctors are prescribing pharmaceuticals that cause further deficiencies. I had seen an integrative/functional medicine doctor and she told me for my panic attacks to do sublingual(under the tongue) Vitamin B 12 and Lemon Balm. She helped literally save my life. I am a recovering alcoholic and was also “medicated” since age 12. I decided over 6 years ago to do a very slow and safe taper off of all “medications”. I did one at a time. My mental and emotional health got worse before it got better. I really focused on God, eating foods full of nutrition, drinking plenty of water, EMDR therapy for my C-PTSD and moving my body. I’m FINALLY beginning to thrive. No one was ever honest with about how brutal the healing process would be. To heal from trauma for me was sometimes worse than the actual abuse I endured but I allowed myself to feel my feelings fully in the safety of my own home. There is a God because otherwise I wouldn’t have lived through all I have been through. It does get better but it definitely can take some time and pain. Affirmations have also helped. I’m sorry to have said more than you asked. 😬 I hope I helped answer your question. God bless!❤

I’ve been seen at the amen clinics before and that’s not all they do. They take a very holistic multi step approach which usually includes: therapy, nutrition, exercise, supplements, spiritual work, mindfulness like meditation and yoga. We take these things for granted sometimes and don’t realize how beneficial they are but if we do each of these each day, your brain can improve tremendously and you will start noticing the effects pretty quickly.

I hope and pray that the rest of the medical field catches onto this. Imaging, labs to check for deficiencies, genetic testing and possible food sensitivities should really be standard practice for people needing help with behavioral, emotional and mental health problems before legally being able to medicate, especially in children. I nearly died and literally went crazy from a bad reaction to doctor prescribed “medications”. After the fact, I did genetic testing, to find out I don’t metabolize that “medication”. I consider them to be nothing but poison now. God didn’t create the human body to be able to metabolize many of these “pharmaceuticals”. God gave us everything we need in Mother Earth. Sadly, I know many people dead to the irreversible side effects caused by pharmaceuticals. The way you choose to practice medicine is a God ordained miracle. It’s comforting knowing there are changes being made and it’s a breath of fresh air. Thank you!God please bless and heal everyone here!!❤🙏🏼
