So my best friend grew up playing Everquest and ive heard his many stories, but this channel is so far the only one actually playing a character and showing the journey ON a pvp server. I really enjoy this and literally just downloaded everquest, ill figure out the p99 stuff when my buddy comes over lol
I honestly appreciate most EQ content on the web, we're such a small community that any time i stumble across new video series i try to watch, or at the very least listen to them as i play. Keep up the video's!
I watch a lot of EQ content and I gotta say your unscripted style is thoroughly entertaining. I was 10 when I started playing EQ back in 2001 right after velious launched and have NEVER gotten a chance to play on a PVP server so seeing this p99 red content is awesome. I didn’t even know there aren’t PoDs on PVP servers for instance. Very cool and funny style, looking forward to seeing how PVP plays!
from allakhazam for Nylianne the True: : All cities and some zones have a Quest NPC that has a title like this. I used to have no idea about what these were for until the FV Coming Home GM Event. One of my guildmates was selected randomly by the GM's with a few others and got a Coin of Realm (? heroes maybe). He turned it into Nylianne and got an uber bracer, big HP buff. You can turn the coins any Hero and get a Random Uber Item that is No Drop.
Don't underestimate my love for "stupid bullshit". You're encumbered because you're a Highelf teehehe. There is increased XP on Red? How much can you loot from a dead person on Red? Platinum and any gear or no gear? I need to read up on the rules of Red. Red sounds fun because all my favorite camps are probably open. Are there people trading in EC tunnel or how is the trading scene with a smaller community? I'm older now too but I still go to Vegas occasionally. I don't know how far from Vegas you are and I think that would make or break the trip but I only live like 4 hours away so sometimes going there with some friends to just have good food and a few drinks is fun. I don't gamble much but maybe a little keno or something. I like going to Freemont street to people watch. Thanks for posting =D
there's baseline increased xp, and an additional xp bonus for each group member. xp was flying in my duo paladin group. loot is all money on the character; stuff in bank is safe. no item loot. ooc is serverwide, so no one stands in the tunnel. gfay was the trade zone for all the cool servers (pvp) back on live anyway; no idea why the bluebies went so far from a bank
I played on red for quite a bit and still have a love of it. I have a couple characters with the ring for jboots if you want we can get together and I can get you a pair. Keep up the vids not alot of then on red.

I'm having a lot of fun playing my magician but it would be nice to play the good ole days. I'm still trying to remember the controls and everything, ha.
i would expect red to be all shamen, druids and bards. is there any grouping over there of any kind regularly? lol edit: it would be fun to get a little once or twice a night crew to play on red. :D

there is grouping, but it's not as consistent as on blue. there is an additional xp bonus for ever person in group
