For all the guys with this aspect who feel like they aren't shit and females don't fuck with them or whatever(ie. Me): get on your grind, do your thing and all that shit you want and "desire" will come to you. On a higher note "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all else shall be added unto you"
I've learned that balancing Saturn's seriousness and conservative side with the beautiful and free Venus works. Also practicing self love and strengthen the ego and self image as indicated has helped.
I was definitely more cold with people and not very affectionate when in my 20s it was because i was fearful they would reject me for giving them affection so id have to wait for them to show me they cared enough for me to return it. Heightened fear of rejection for sure.
Wow yes ! definitely flip flop between extremes im either working so much i forget or neglect to have fun and socialisise or im taking time off to focus on my emotions and recover my energy with no interest in work.
I just want to say thank you for this video, I have this aspect, and it answers many questions I've had in my head. It's one of the most comprehensive resources I've seen on this aspect. I was comforted in knowing that this aspect is something that can be worked on and remedied, not something fixed and permanent, i.e. I'll find love at some point with the right kind of work.
Very informative video however, for me Venus opposite Saturn has been terrible for my love life lol. I haven’t been in a relationship since I was 14. Everybody that I meet it never last I haven’t found anyone to truly take me serious and if they do wanna take me serious I don’t like them like that. I do like dominant and authoritative men. But so far I’m 31 single, and really feeling a little hopeless about my love life 😂.
Awesome video! I’m going through my Saturn return in Pisces 12th house while opposite my natal Venus Virgo in 6th house. LOTS of reflection and this video gave me some solid things to think about. Thank you! 💙✨
I have Sun/moon/venus conjunct in Cancer10th opposite Saturn in Capricorn in 5th. It struck me as the chart of a nun. Never married. Harsh father. Can't trust men. Hate looking at myself. Tough life economically but I used the discipline it gave me. I'm 60 so Saturn is done with me now. I can now retire early and focus on actually living instead of work.
Perfect! I have this aspect on my birth chart and I have a way out of step to deal with finances. If I spend too much on one occasion, for months I will restrict my spending.
Wow, this resonates so much. I've been trying to find more information about saturn opposite venus. For me, what you said about the insecuritues, is played out even more because i have venus in libra, conjunct ascendent libra, and conjunct chiron in libra as well, and all three signs have a hard direct opposition with saturn. So not only does saturn affect my relationships, but it affects the way i look at myself, and theres a big connection there because of the conjuct. Chiron chimes in too with its energies, and it's a bit of a shitstorm, but as you said its an evolutionary challenge and i know once i can overcome these issues i'll be a stronger person. Awesome shirt also ☺
Yes...no doubt this dynamic is emphasized or strengthened because the ASC/DSC axis is involved, and we have the planets in their home signs. So I can imagine how important this configuration is for you. And thanks for the compliment on the shirt, I do rather like it. Cheers 💕
Hey there. That's a whole lot of conjunction. I know this is an old comment but how does venus conjunct chiron play out in your relationships do you reckon?
Thank you, your comprehensive explanation will be helpful as i'm entering my Saturn return in Aquarius! It is opposed my Leo Venus in the 11th house, so I have one big confusing jumble of opposites. Hopefully I can get in touch with my creative side and actually learn to find pleasure in dating and relationships rather than being so aloof!
This is probably one of the best analysis I have heard. I have this aspect in my natal chart and many of what you say rings true. The only thing I d say is I am not sure the individual can really “decide” to do the integration. I have done a lot of much work on myself and the astrologers I have talked to explained that actually “planetary transits facilitate the growth/ resolution process” so it’s not that an individual can actively manage the integration in other words it’s not because one does years of therapy that things will become smoother. The only thing really down to the individual seems to be the perspective they take on things. So their interpretation of events change. But I may be wrong.
Consciously managing your perspective, in my view, is central to that integration process. While of course transits facilitate a resolution process, it isn't a given that a person comes out on the other side with a more empowering perspective. So the conscious work of looking at your beliefs and deciding where they help or hinder is key to that integration. Things become "smoother" or more challenging depending on the matrix of our beliefs and attitudes and expectations. That is where the work takes place. Understanding the spectrum of expression of any given configuration in your chart (as symbolic of an intra-psychic process/dynamic) and "deciding" where along the continuum you would like to be, and bringing conscious intentionality to that, is, in my view, entirely possible for an individual. Which for me is the basis of astrological counseling work. Or at least the kind of work I do. Glad you found the video useful.
Thank you very much , your explanation is amazing, I’m a Taurus Venus vs Scorpio Saturn and I’m struggle with the feeling of low self esteem and I have known hundreds of people who make me feel unworthy, I even met a prince and I felt so weak, and I was wondering why this people keep coming into my life
I have Venus in Capricorn opposite Saturn in Cancer. I definitely see this play out in my life. I get so lost in my Venus energy sometimes and neglect the Saturn energy. When that happens I look around and see people telling me what to do left right and center lol, I guess I'm manifesting them critical people because I'm neglecting the Saturn energy. Since my Venus is in Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn of course, does that change the way this aspect expresses itself?
Well it certainly amplifies the Saturnian/Capricornian tone of the aspect with the "double signature" of Venus in Capricorn opposing Saturn. Venus in the sign Saturn rules, and then in aspect to Saturn itself. Sort of turning up the volume on this.
Venus' connection to both the signs that she rules is very well appreciated, as you will find throughout the content on the channel. I do not at this time recall the specifics of this video, but perhaps for the purposes of this tutorial, we emphasized the Venus-Libra planet-sign matrix and Venus' relational dimensions. Many thanks for your contribution, perhaps you may add a few remarks here which bring the Venus-Taurus side into focus, and how that connects with an opposition to Saturn.
I know this is an odd question, but what would Ceres Conjunct Regulus mean? I have an exact conjunction of this ...they're both at 29 degrees in the 2nd House in Leo.
Someone who has a very grand love and nurture nature. Mother could have been very regal/royal. On the negative side, could be someone who is more self-serving in love or in how they give love or expects to be pampered, or mother could have been more narcissistic. Would need to see other aspects, but Regulus is rather benefic so my inclination is to think good thoughts.
This really depends on how you look at aspects and more broadly, the spiritual framework in which you situate astrology. I don't think aspects are "bad" or "good." I don't believe it's like a game of cards where we are dealt a "bad hand." Instead, I feel aspects reflect our inner psychic wiring, and, more than that, they reflect the deeper evolutionary tasks we have assigned ourselves, to work on growth and to assimilate certain lessons. I have a 2 hour aspects class on my website, taranikita.com , which gets to the heart of this. As a general framework you may also find this post I wrote helpful: taranikita.com/2017/05/15/an-astrological-approach/
I have a square between Venus in Scorpio and Saturn in Leo (not a fun combination 😂,got used to it over time) but all the qualities you have mentioned in opposition are present in my case. Wondering how the transit of Saturn to natal venus would have played out and more so how will the triple conjunction of Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in 2020 (in Capricorn) work for people with natal venus in late cancer (as opposition of course)
Well, we can be sure with the impending line up of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto that insofar as the Venus dimension of their lives and psyche is concerned (personal values, approach to relationships, resources, finances, self-esteem, aesthetic sense), there are big lessons here. Of course, because each chart is so uniquely different, the impact would really have to be assessed on a case by case basis, according to what Venus signifies in each individual chart. Does Venus rule the chart? Which planets does Venus disposit? Does Venus rule the south or north node? What houses are focalized? Are other aspect patterns being triggered? Not least of all - the individual's approach to life and general quality of awareness!
Hi, your video is amazing and it really helped me to understand this aspect on my natal chart. However, my Saturn is in the very end of Aries (29°59') and my Venus in the very beginning of Scorpio (1°45'); thess signs are not complementary opposite. How can I deal with this aspect?
Yes. What you are referring to is what we call "out of sign" aspects, which have to be treated a little differently. Something which I talk about in my audio class on aspects which I am about to make available. So this opposition could be a little more challenging to integrate in terms of getting your Venus and Saturn to work with each other - as we are dealing with a more "disharmonious" elemental pairing between fire and water. So it can be a little bit more challenging to reconcile these two. Truthfully, self-awareness, intentionality and an understanding of the needs of your Venus and Saturn will go a long way. I might also sit down and think about these two from an ELEMENTAL perspective. What does my fire Saturn want? What does my water Venus want? Even though they might be more challenged to work together, in what ways might they augment each other? What kind of work do I have to do around these placements? What beliefs might I have and how might this opposition reflect them? What do I need to change or adjust?

I have this aspect. I spend my whole life thinking I’m ugly and now I’m 28 and never had a love relationship with anyone

Sounds like a good plan!
I have the same placements as you ^-^
I have venus in scorpio opposite Saturn in taurus and sun in capricorn opposite moon in cancer, it's ... Complicated to say the least haha
Not any more complicated than the charts of most people...we are all complicated beings 🙂
That's very true, great video by the way 👍
Well said. I have this aspect and I totally resonate. Thank you for shedding light on this dynamic!!
You're most welcome, Laura. Glad you found it helpful.

My pleasure 💫
A new understanding of my repressed love nature.Lucky for me I am also Aries sun in the 11th Gemini rising so it needs some reserve, what a flirt .LOL
I have a Venus Scorpio opposing Taurus Saturn at 29 degrees 2 degrees above/below the ascendant descendent line

Really good, thank you
You're most welcome.

I do not work with these in my practice, so unfortunately I am unable to offer you any perspective here.

What about Saturn Venus conjuct Aquarius 4th hoise?
Honestly, I have this aspect. And I think it may be the worst aspect of them all. True or not Tara?
Is there hope for people with it?
