I believe there is a high chance that the switch 2 will be revealed at some point in 2025 but I’m sure and hope that the release date is around October,November or December of 2025 😊🙏
I'm hoping it'll be sooner. Switch 1 came out 5 months after its reveal, meaning if the Switch 2 is the same, and its revealed at the last moment which is March 2025, the latest we'll get it will be August.

This console will truly be next gen not like PS5 who only has 10 exclusive games. Anyway 7-8 mil console should be enough for the launch.
I highly doubt it will have next gen graphics or processing power. The games will definitely have that Nintendo level quality though.
@@epicphantom589 I think OP meant it will _feel_ next gen because it's a big leap in hardware for Nintendo fans and, hopefully, it will have more games in it's first year of release than PS5 had.

Scalping isn't ripping stone off. It is a means of signaling to the makers whether the console will be a success or not and if they should increase, decrease, or maintain production levels. Over supply could result in the console not being as profitable and, therefore, not as successful. I don't know what numbers would be too much supply and am sure Nintendo has some ideas based on their internal projections, but I wouldn't count on every company being over stocked, you will likely still have to look to get a console if you want one or face having to buy from scalpers.
And for those criticizing the scalpers, those that pre-order multiple units are not doing anything anyone else couldn't do. When I purchased four switches the day pre-orders went available, the Internet was still unsure of whether the Switch would be worth it. Comment sections were filled with doubters thinking it would flop and saying they would wait and see if it's successful before buying. Those are the same people who went on to whine when they waited too long and ended up having to resort to buying from scalpers like myself to get one. I invested in the success of the system and was rewarded for it. They chose not to and ended up having to wait or pay for it. There's nothing immoral or unethical about that.
Also, sometimes those investments don't pay off. I invested in the switch and was rewarded well for it. I believed the switch would be a huge hit despite the doubters. But other times I've made similar decisions and my investments were failures and I ended up losing money or only breaking even, it's how it goes. If you want to play it super safe, wait to see if the console is a success before buying but then know you'll likely need to wait to get one or suffer paying an upcharge from a scalper who invested. If you want to play it moderately safe, reserve one in advance and take the risk that the console will flop and you'll regret the purchase. If you want to make some money and simultaneously invest in the console's success, buy several units and see if you can make a profit. It's all risks and rewards and people complaining about it just don't understand economics or how the world works.
I hope we get the Switch 2 soon...
I don't think I'm literally also excited about Nintendo switch
The Switch 2 probably won’t be revealed until January 2025. But don’t worry, we just need to show patience. Maybe we’ll have a new Mario Kart game at launch or Prime 4, Legends: Z-A or Xenoblade X could launch with the console. Mario Kart could launch with 32 tracks and no crossover characters and get DLC packs adding crossover characters and double up the tracks to 48. It’s weird that the Blue Falcon is in the series but Captain Falcon isn’t. So why don’t they come in form of the DLC? I want them to ditch the Coin Item and bring the Fake Item Box back, add commentary as the Arcade GP series has it and bring Mission Mode back as it was supposed to return in Wii. By March 2026, we could get a new 3D Kirby game, possibly a Sequel to Forgotten Land. We could get to see playable Elfilin and Clawroline for the first time and they could bring back the Dream Palace Allies as well. Halfway through 2026, we could get Splatoon 4 and by the end of the year, we could get Super Smash Bros. 6 and hopefully they’ll ditch World of Light and bring Subspace Emissary back. We could get Super Mario Maker 3 and Luigi’s Mansion 4 and a successor to Super Mario Party Jamboree by 2027 as it’s been 5 years since we had Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. They could add a Mario Wonder game style to Super Mario Maker 3 so 3D World isn’t just the extra game style and they could bring the Amiibo costumes and the Weird Mushroom back, and for Luigi’s Mansion 4, the game could be in an Airbnb and we might get to see Luigi save Daisy for the first time in the series. By 2028, we could get a successor to Paper Mario: The Origami King as the TTYD remake came out this year. So why not another one in the next 4 years? I hope the console sells well. I probably won’t get it day one, or maybe not at all. I might wait for Smash 6 to be announced and then get it with Mario Kart and get other games later on.

I didn't know that in 2017 it was hard to get a Switch. I think Clownfish TV said the same thing in one of there old videos.
From March 2017 to mid-summer of that year, it was difficult to find Switch systems in stock. I wasn't able to find one for myself until October 2017.
