I am lucky to live in the area and can visit your dad's shop whenever I can find the time. Enjoy your visit with your parents for Christmas.
Not many train stores... in the world! So really neat you live close by : ) If you come in this week, I'll likely see you. Helping him out a bit at this busy time. Also, you might enjoy my newest episode... th-cam.com/video/eA3zIZbgS34/w-d-xo.html
Very nice video! I like family oriented videos. Something you don’t see too much of anymore. You do a nice job on your videos.
Thank you so much, and really helpful to feedback to know you appreciated the family vibe : ) You might also like my other recent episode, 'Tis the Season... for Nostalgia, Wonder, Family and Love. And there are some others that feature some of my other family members : )
My dad collects old beverage bottles. And if you come by you’ll see this Orange Crush bottle I gave him, sitting amongst the Orange Crush cars, billboards… Texas Pete exclusives… and more 🤗
I have been there, love that place.
@@gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125 Glad to hear it 👍👍☺️
Your Dad is a go to guy if you have questions about anything trains, he is a walking encyclopedia.
@@gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125 very true! And he spends a whole lotta time with customers explaining things and answering questions, and just all around talking trains… the history- the reasons behind why things are the way they are. I’ve learned a lot from him.
Very cool video! I can't wait until I come back up for work in Dec so I can check the place out!
Well I’m guessing I will meet you then!
What a cool gift for your dad! Time to head to Winston for some Train Loft therapy. Cheers!!!
It is, indeed, really meaningful to have this video
It's funny that you call your Dad 'Pop', my brother and I did the same. My 'Pop' had his train shop from 1989 until 2004. It was called Jack's Trains and Hobbies. Ask your Dad, he might remember the name.
Sometimes I call him Pops. Mostly it’s Dad. How very cool that yours owned a train shop, as well!
@thetrainloft are you familiar with this store, Dad?
