  • I wanna show that inspiration can be everywhere, no matter which style, materials, mediums or tools you have! You can turn every inspiration you get from somewhere into your own, very unique piece of art. No matter if you're a junk journaler, card maker, art journaler or something totally different!
I'm obviously a junk journaler, so I am going to show you my process on two totally different journals that I am going to create simultaneously within this series here on my TH-cam channel. But you can take my ideas and transfer them to any other paper craft project that you might have on your desk!
And no matter if you're a beginner or an expert in what you're doing I hope you can get some helpful tips and tricks from this series.

Wow, Luise, this is a great idea for a series, so excited to follow it! Of course it's only about 3 minutes in and I have to pause and comment. Love your coffee cup, the inner pattern is so nice! But until you touched the cup at 3 minutes 11 seconds all I could see in it was a representation of your journal pages, the tan and oxide base with black and white spatters 😄 Was glad to see they were bubbles popping and you didn't accidentally splatter in your beautiful cup, lol 🤎☕🤎

I definitely come to my table with way too many ideas, sit down and stare at my blank page or blank table and my mind goes blank - overwhelmed with where to start. This will be a fantastic series, and I've really enjoyed all your videos I've watched going through your process and you talking though your thought process.

This was very helpful. Your time producing this was definitely not wasted. I look forward to future episodes! Your english is beautiful! Take it from an American.. your english is far better than many born here speaking english as their native tongue. I so appreciate the massive effort you put forth to produce the English version of your videos! Thank you so much!

Louise…this is so so helpful. For those of us watching people like you that have been doing this kind of art for a long time, it can be a bit frustrating sometimes. We see what you do and we want to duplicate, but it’s just not that easy. So doing videos such as this one is tremendously important and helpful. Thank you.

You are a wealth of information. That is a genius way to put together and organize your journaling papers. The way you explain it makes so much more sense. I am so grateful to you. Thank you so much. I am going to continue to learn from you. You’re awesome. Thank you

This video is so helpful to me, Luise. I can’t believe how clear you made the process of choosing the colors for a junk journal. I will be watching the next video in this series right away. Thank you so much.

I think the foam in your cup of coffee/tea is beautiful art... from the coloring to the bubbles forming in different sizes with white-ish around them,

On the issue of starting a project, I do struggle. Sometimes I have to walk away or set aside the plan for a different idea because I’m just not feeling it or I’m so anxiety ridden I’m feeling it too much. When I need inspiration from within myself, I will often just play.

When I watched your swatch video I thought “that’s too much work for little return!” But now I see the benefit! I’ll be recuperating from surgery and I think I may have to make them!

Oh I'm so EXCITED for this series!! I have not watched this entire video yet, but I hope that you can demonstrate more about your technique with the fabric-enhanced hard cover book (hidden spine) as the cover on one of these journals. Your Butterfly Beach journal and its cover are my favorite journals I've ever seen on TH-cam, and I've seen quite a few from many different junk journal artists. In my opinion, your "eye" for colors and composition is outstanding and unique. I have already learned so much from you!!

I absolutely love your swatches, even though it can at times be tedious it's so worth it. I’m looking forward to see how your two journals will turn out. All the hard work that you’ve done with your videos are inspirational to me and many other people. Cheers to you.😊😉💞👏
