How I Create My Entries for Writing Contests

Recently I have been entering my writing into a lot of different writing competitions, so I thought it could be helpful to show my process for creating entries for any fellow writers interested in participating in writing contests.
While I haven't won any writing contest outside of school, I have run quite a few writings contest and I have implemented some things I picked up from hosting these contests to my process for creating my own entries.
