Everyone's come a long way---including parents, lovely dog, & Scot who has a lovely trot & eyes in the back of his head!

Hey Ashley have you tried riding him without a flash? When mounting it appears that he wants to open his mouth because he doesn’t have full acceptance of the bit yet. I think it’d be worth a shot. He might even stand still at the block if he has the ability to open his mouth, because he can release that fussing about energy without a flash.

Can I ask… I saw in a previous video, I think it was a team chase where she mentioned she was due to have a hip replacement, has she had that done now & how does she feel now? I had one dome when I was 39
Hi, thank you for your lovely comment! I thought I’d answer your message regarding my hips! I have actually now had 4 hip operations! (2 on each side!), but no hip replacements (yet!). I had quite misshaped hips, which began to grind and also tear the ligaments all around my hip joints. So I’ve had an op on both sides to reshape my hips and repair the tears in my ligaments, and also another 2 to remove a lot of scar tissue that formed after the first operations! Because of this I am extremely weak in that area, and am slowly but surely building up that muscle again when schooling! This time last year I could only do around 5 minutes of schooling before I ran out of strength so I’m very pleased and proud of myself for building up the strength week by week! I’m super excited to steal Erol every once in a while for a lesson as it’s definitely highlighted I’ve still got a way to go in building up my strength! (The old boys do most of the work for me when schooling them!). I hope your hip is doing well after your replacement!
It is really nice to see your horse going with someone else riding as you can see alot more & make more amendments to the training !! Erol did very well and Mic !! Lack of muscle makes the abrupt transition downwards... I think you learnt alot from this !! Zeb !! Just dont like him coz he is like him !!! He is Jelly Belly .. We still Love Zeb !!!
