Hannah Dyson I have amazing support from my parents family and friends. My parents have done so much for me ever since I had Maisie. They have the girls every day doing the school runs for me while I work. I’d be lost without them and would have to give my job up if it wasn’t for their help. • @gothicgrandma4559

People always focus on the child as being the problem, "from the age of 6 she was a problem". Then you make her move out at 16. Seriously, the parents are taking no responsibility here, a child doesn't just become a 'problem' for no reason. When a child acts out there is always a reason. So many parents allow it when the child is young, they think it will magically work it's self out and anyway it's not such a big issue when a 6 year old who is small enough to send to her room acts out. BUT, suddenly they are 13, 14, or 15 and they are as big as you and you can't control them anymore. The parents always make the same excuse, they're as big as me, I can't make them stay home, I can't make them do as I say, I can't physically drag them to school or lock them up. So they wash their hands of them, their behaviour is not my fault!!!! I try!!!!! Bollocks!!! You raised this child, you lost control, but hell let's just walk away. A 16 year old running their own home, raising a child and trying to train to get a good job rather than stay on benefits, that doesn't seem like a problem kid to me. She seems like a good kid who had lazy selfish parents.

Yep alot of parents ... don't parent ... my mum never told me how to Budget, cook, clean, look after myself... nothing (she didn't even bother to get me assessment for autism I had to go and do that myself at 19)
I have 2 kids now and do all of the above .. I had to teach myself cos my mum wasn't even a mum or did anything a mum should do she just left me to it and basically used your pregnant to get out of doing any form of parenting or help me 🤷‍♀️

I am very proud of this young lady and her family. I was 14 when I had my son. It was in the 70's so times were different back then. The hard times were there but different. My Mom was a single Mother and was not pleased. I was kicked out of the house. I lived in 9 different places when I was pregnant. My son was born with ADHD. Today he is a fine young man. He has 18 more months from retiring from the Police department as a Homicide Detective. Many years of hard work to get him to 18 and he was on his own after that. He has done good and I am a proud Mother for keeping him and loving him. This young lady will be just fine. Keep up the good work and wait to have another child.

Her parents failed to discipline her as well as teach her how to do chores and Tasha is the one suffering for it. Sure, the mother can say Tasha can ask for help but kicking her out doesn't really say "I'm here for you". I'm in my twenties with my first baby and my family is very willing to help out.

Where I live if you were to kick a minor out anyone under the age of 18 even if they are pregnant that would be considered child neglect and her parents the grandparents would have CPS knocking on their door. In fact where I live in the United States at least in my state the grandparents are on the hook for child support until the parents have reached 18. so if 15-year-old Tommy gets 15-year-old Sally pregnant then 15-year-old Tommy's parents have to pay child support to Sally's parents.they said this girl up to fail because they did not teach her about life and I'm sorry I just could not be okay with my own flesh and blood living in that squalor defenseless. If my grandbaby was going into foster care or I had the choice to take my grandchild in you bet your ass I'm going to raise my grandchild you're never done parenting at least good parents are never done.

Bad parenting. No discipline no love. She said it herself, everything she should have learnt at home she's now learning on her own. They wonder why they get pregnant at such a young age. A parent calling their child a "wild child" is a parent that has no control over a child. That tells you more about the parent than the child. And now the child becomes a parent. Hope she does a better job than her parents.

Her parents at the end, that’s how I wished my parents saw me. I was a very out of character kid, I was abused and only few knew about it so couldn’t tell anyone and my abuser being my age and in my life he did many awful things that allowed others near me. I had my baby girl at 16 and I went from alcoholic/suicidal/medicated scared little girl to a woman the moment I saw my babies on screen. My parents stayed the same assholes and I grew wings and got a life, been 13.5 years my girls 12 got 2 more kids (boys) and still same hubby since I was 16 but that’s never enough for some they just wanted to be right and fail me because that’s what they did. They didn’t help me in my troubled times before pregnancy so I didn’t let them decide my life during.

The sad thing is that the back story for 95% of these girls that end up pregnant in their teens is that they were acting a fool. This is why old school values are necessary. Discipline and respect needs to be taught from day one. Spoiling these kids messes up the following generations. I'm thankful I had a Mom that whooped my tail and taught me responsibility and discipline When I was little.

You need to read the book "Spare the Kids: Why Whuppings Won't Save Black America" by psychologist Dr. Stacey Patton. In her book, she writes how spankings and other corporal punishments can cause early puberty in girls, and maje them want to get pregnant as soon as possible. It's because living in a high-stress environment undrr the threat of physical abuse makes their subconscious brain think to itsel, "I'm in an environment thst is very dangerous and it's likely I won't live many more years longer until I'm eaten by a lion or killed by neighboring hostile tribe. So they think (subconsciously) to themselves, "I better get pregnant now or else I'll never pass my genes on to the next generation!" Dr. Patton is a Black woman and was the victim of corporal punishment as a child too.

This is WAY DIFFERENT than the US. Here, you don’t just automatically (and quite quickly) get a house. If you’re kicked out you either go to someone else’s house or you go to a shelter for at LEAST months to years while waiting on the housing list, and then they give you food benefits (money on a debit like card) that for single adults can be just $40/month (with no job or even a disabled person unable to work) and then medical insurance. You don’t get actual money you can spend on laundry detergent, phone, gas, etc. and you can’t have anyone else live with you. It’s very strict. Half these girls just don’t know how lucky they are.

I think people seem to think if you’re not yelling and hitting your child then you’re a good parent. These parents are calmly talking about wanting what’s best for their child and they’re going out looking for her when she was out partying but that doesn’t make them good parents. You can’t just politely ask your kid to come home then leave when they say no, you’re the adult, you need to show them you’re in charge. Letting your kid do whatever they want and not trying to discipline them because they’re just a “problem child” is not good parenting. Natasha is obviously a good kid, going to college and working hard to provide for her baby despite still being a kid herself but she needed more guidance. She needed to be shown boundaries at a younger age instead of being allowed to act out.
