@@edcready8894 i have Para 3 LW with BD1N and Manix 2 LW with SPY27. But I made a mistake with the choice of steels 😂 It was necessary to do the opposite. As for the FRN, I like that stuff better than the G10. The strengths of BD1N steel are corrosion resistance, but not cutting edge retention. @@edcready8894 I haven't had to resharpen it yet. From what I have had the chance to use, it is most similar to the S35VN. Cuts a little better than S35VN, keeps sharpness a little worse. I do not observe problems with corrosion. While picking wood, the very tip of the blade tip broke off (but actually on a micro level, almost imperceptibly). At the same time, the cutting edge did not receive serious damage (including chipping) when the knife accidentally jumped off the material into the ground (although the force was quite significant).

Interesting knives. I also have a Para 3 LW - very happy with the quality, ergonomics and fidgety.
