They legalized autos in my state last year. Great video 👍
Very cool blade shape! What's the steel on these?
Awesome stuff! Great video 👍
Thanks dude. did you enjoy the different look? I wanted to do something outdoorsie this time
Uk legal ?
Definitely and sadly not my friend
@@edcready8894 not surprised really, you can't even carry an opinion these days without getting arrested
Nice vid. Did you film this at Starbucks at Bukit Kiara?
No bro. Setia Alam forest trail. This was the stop at the peak
@@edcready8894 OK nice!
I have one. the carbon fiber handle. it's good for stabbing. not for cutting.
Great for piercing. The one I have slices like a dream
Guys, ignore what he said about the orientation of the bearings. He is completely wrong and his own video proves it when he opens the knife that is in its factory assembly. When you open a pocket knife with a bearing, you will see that the smooth part in both of the bearings are facing the liners or scales. When someone is going to share information on the internet, they have to make sure they know what they are talking about. All the pocket knives with bearings that I have ever opened are this way. His own video when he dissassembly it proves this, just pay more attention before saying something wrong.
I don't know man. Ive seen it work both ways. And there are some knives that works better in another orientation. Maybe the difference is too miniscule to notice. Thanks for sharing
This knife needs 2 bronze washers instead of one and that nylon garbage. I left the nylon out and it works better but with a little blade play, It is a $20 knife so not a big deal.
Great video . Could you kindly advise where you purchased the springs ? Thanks
Hey dude. Just got em phone AliExpress since the one on the demko or distributor website isnt in stock when I check.
Great video!
Thanks dude
Never had a problem with my Ganzo 727 Spring had it for five years
Agreed I've had 2 ganzos for years and never had a problem with the springs.
Thanks for the video, but your knife and washers look identical to my $13 ChinaMade 535. IDENTICAL!
I'm very sure the dimensions are largely similar. I've bought omega springs from Chinese suppliers that fit in the bugout and actually lasted longer.
The Spongebob Square Pants tool is to stand a phone on its side for viewing.
Had no idea thanks man
I own both . The bench made is superior in every way.
Until the omega springs break. Both of mine broke in 6 months on the BM. I've had 2 ganzos for years and the springs are still there
Awesome explanation. No BS, just straight to the point. Well done! 👍
Thanks man. Planning to do more
Not sure about the size of the screws. Could you explain it once again? Thanks🎉 (Only the one at the stop pin is T6, all the others are 1.5 hex?)
What is locktite?
Have no idea man
Is there a version of this video that is in focus?
OK, I got past the blurry part.
Sorry dude. For some reason it wouldn't focus. Saving up for a real camera
Just took mine apart. Putting it back together I also had a problem with the pivot screw. I had to use the butt of my driver to hammer the liner in place. After that, I was able to reassemble it. The problem is the standoffs but they fell in place so I guess I arranged them in the right order. I lost track when they all fell out while I was disassembling the knife.
Gotta watch metal complex broski !!!!
I already do! Just not all the time
This is just weird. Thousands of people had no problems whatsoever in many years, never had. And others have to deal with broken springs after weeks. Must be some faulty spring batch "made in china" or something. And regarding the customer service. Bechmade doesn't want you to fiddle with your knife yourself...
I noticed you use break through Gun oil lol does that actually work good for knives?
Well done. Great video 👍
I recently started looking for an EDC knife and came across your video and I am absolutely impressed with your knowledge of different blades, steels and care for the knife. You have a new follower to your channel and I'm looking forward too further videos in the future. Thank you for your videos and may God bless you.
Are the insides of the pocketknife also completely rustproof like the steel?
came upon your channel with the detailed vision fg review. good narration and insights on the philosophy of edc! keep it up, just subbed!
Ganzo's Omega Spring are Beefier and Thicker than Benchmade omega spring
Excellent! Great video 👍
Excellent! My kids first edc was a sak classic. Great video 👍
Very well done friend. I remember being 5 years old back in the old country and my dad bringing me 3 mini Portuguese canivetes for my first knives. Great memories, thanks for sharing yours and your daughters. Subbed ya.
Thats a great story. thanks dude. To making memories
I used to do knife surgery all the time especially on my Real Steel and Ruike knives and I noticed a lot of them use plastic to hold the bearings in place. Even knives like the Real Steel Archangel and the Ruike P-852 which use needle bearings house those bearings in plastic cages. I've had zero problems on any of them. In fact, in terms of action, those knives have some of the best action among all the knives I own (or have ever owned) including the more expensive ones (Taichung Taiwan Spydercos, Viper Storm...). It's nothing to worry about. Thank you. 🙂
I need to get my 7 year old into EDC. Start em young and gives me an excuse to buy some more gear 😅
"You want a new lil native? Sure honey i just need to try it out first"
An excellent little tool. Great review 👍
Thanks 👍
Pretty cool! Great video 👍
Thanks! 👍its still a bit early but im not digging it
😣 "Promo SM"
What do you mean?
How is the diamond file? And the scissors any good. Im a older guy i had many leathermans and gerber i some how have lost everyone or someone needed it more then me. The thing is back then they were not very expensive. Id never pay what leatherman wants nowadays. I never found them really that great. That's the reason i don't have one. But for $30 dollars they might be useful for my camping bag. It's really hard to decide if a victorinox ranger grip or a multi tool? Im thinking the file and plyers might be more useful then the tools on the ranger grip. Basically the steel on victorinox isn't great in my experience. Seems like you like it. Would you buy it again if you lost it?
The diamond file and the scissors a very good.worth the money but a bit heavy.
I carry a multi tool daily they are extremely handy. Great video 👍
Totally agree
A multi tool should not excel at anything. If you need a tool that much, get a dedicated tool. A multi tool is supposed to be almost good at a lot of things but not great at anything.
It won't replace dedicated tools for sure, but it can get the job done in a pinch. Most often, it's just impossible to have dedicated tools with you all the time, like when you're travelling, riding a bike, or camping etc.
I can't fit a tool box in my pocket when situations I hadn't planned for pop up. That's what a multi tool is essential edc. Saved my life multiple times in Afghanistan and iraq
@@keeperoftruth5951 Yes, but you don't need a premium metal for a knife blade for those situations. That's why I think a magnacut steel blade is stupid for a multitool. If you need a premium blade, get an actual knife.
Focus my friend c'mon focus!!
hello friend, great video. Do you know the screw size for the inset clip? ty
No idea man. And i dont have it anymore to check. Maybe dm them on ig
I just ordered a Spyderco Native 5 lightweight and so I’m searching TH-cam for information about the knife. Your video was great - as I like disassembly videos to find out what’s inside and how it operates.
Nice!!! Which version did you get?
very useful!
Glad it was helpful!
Just too much $ for what you get. Btw, buy extra springs! 😊
Mine is terrible. Bladeplay or stiff. Cheap knife and hard to centre since it just does what it wants. Can’t recommend it enough
Just got the Ti one and its beautiful- getting returned b/c I Cannot open it with the thumbstuds at all. It takes a dangerous amount of force to open. Other than that, I really liked the knife.
Informative plus enjoyable review. Really considering buying one.
63 gram =2.2 inches 😂
Sorry. Imperial system still confuses me 🤣
@edcready8894 no problem 🤣👍🏾
I simply screwed the clip from the Böker Magnum blue Jay onto the Civivi Vision fg. Visually, in terms of feel and in everyday life, it fits perfectly. 😅🤷♂️👍
