honestly all 3 of them were put into a situation they didn't understand, with the pressure being put on Victor and Victoria by there parents and the fat dude, it's really impressive how they all handled it
A lot of people were actually upset that Victor and Emily didn’t end up together, but that wasn’t at all the point of the story. Emily was set free, and Victor was finally happy with Victoria. They weren’t supposed to be together, it was much deeper than that. Emily did like him at first, but she was selfless enough to let him go and set herself free. (Also I was so happy to find this video, there’s barely any reactions for corpse bride, legit made my day.)
I was honestly so touched and sad from the ending of the movie. I feel very bad for Emily, since her love never belonged to Victor and had to let him go. But, It was better for Victor to be with Victoria because they we're much happier together, and I am very glad that Emily chooses to accept it all and set herself free.
