French onion soup is one of my favorite things, and combining that with a burger? Genius, Tommy. Genius. I find I prefer a mandolin with a straight blade rather than the v-shape myself; I was getting more resistance on the V. But I agree that a mandolin is a must-have for any cook!

Bad ass looking burger Tommy!! I just picked up a mandolin earlier this week and made some Oklahoma onion burgers. The mandolin was a great investment!! Can’t wait to try this burger too!
Man, so loving the new channel (too). The recipes, tips & tricks (or ticks as FTK calls 'em) and the reasoning behind it all. Like de-watering the onions (we usually salt them and put them on a strainer or on paper towels b4 squeezing them dryer). The provolone on the top bun is a new one on me! I would absolutely Smash that burger!!! Great stuff my friend. Great stuff.
