I got the bundle the other day as I was waiting for Magic Beans to come to beta. I think you're underselling just how good these files are in being able to make sure your speakers are adequately set up to create a proper 3D sound bubble in your space. The timing and phase files along with the periodic pink noise are so so good at making the system sound unified. Waiting on delivery of my disc to make sure the blu-ray player is also working correctly, in the mean time Magic Beans is the new hotness to play around with.
Better than REW? It’s a completely different product. This may be a handy tool but that’s it. REW is an incredibly sophisticated and powerful piece of software. Just nonsense.

I just have a 5.1.2 AV Pioneer amp. Would this toolkit be any use to me?
Ps. You should NOT turn off your subwoofer. You should set your speakers to FULL RANGE / LARGE, instead of SMALL, when doing the crossover test.
I have them set to Large already.
