They should make the apprentice account visible in the marketplace. We already use their server space anyhow. If they want to have sales. It’s nearly impossible to get any sales. If you don’t have a big following
I was trying to make store about typography , and all about typography art design, and it kicked me out later, I think it reconsidered as spamming design too, so teepublic will aware of it.. So I think we must start with some image combined with text to start store in teepublic.
Found an account, really do not know the category apprentice or artist, but there are 4500 designs. I started to look, so there is exactly as in the instructions written a lot of text where only one word is changed. As for artificial intelligence, we need to work on it.I also had my account banned for some unknown reason. There were designs, for some time I was not able to refill. And then when I decided to upload 10 designs, after an hour I was blocked. I wrote to support, no reaction at all. The attitude is terrible
I want to ask how many designs should we upload daily as a beginner? Also can we copy the layout of one design to another design that has the same tags for a new one coming in the same space?
Great video. My question is, when the people are telling you they are getting kicked off, do they mean actually getting kicked off or their account category changed from artisan to apprentice?
I lost 2 account in 3 days. I originally designed everything. No copyright or trademark. After uploading 6-7 of my work they close my shop. And its funnier when tou mail them, how they dont care you. I ask whats the problem they answer some irrelevent things.
AI designs are allowed.... my point was using AI to just spam TeePublic with a ton of bad designs is not allowed. It is okay to use Kittl/Placeit designs too. Your goal should always be to make the best t-shirt that people want to buy not spamming or trying to get as many designs on TeePublic
Bro I jus made one a week ago all my original art designs and ppl ordered shirts and they kicked me off just now today smh. No warning nothing. Also will my customers get their shirts still? And do they keep my designs and sell them themselves?
Just now come to know in teepublic only artisan account design will appear in marketplace. I AM NOT IN THAT CATEGORY. What things to be done for acheiving artisan category. I mean if any one of my design is ok for them will they change my account to artisan or else more design should be ok for them to upload in their marketplace and change my account to artisan. Posting my design in fb page will be helpful or not, if anybody lik my design can they buy or not through the link. Can you please clear my doubts regarding this.
TeePublic is basically looking for shops that have designs that people want to buy. No spammy, scaled design accounts. That's really all they told us. I'm guessing they have people that check shops on a regular basis to see that is being added or removed.
Hello Juna, Thank you for your valuable contant. I also following your Design With Detour. But I have a doubt. If I make 100s or more designs on any specific niche like football or coffee or book lover etc. with different animals or character, is it scalable and can my account got banned?
@@DetourShirts Thank you Juna. It's mean if I use dog with coffe, cat and coffee, sheep and coffee, tiger and coffee etc. with different phases then it will be fine.
I have made a new shop with a whole cool branding (I'm a professional designer), I put up 10 great designs, which I think is better than most. I seen artisan accounts with no offence, lame quality. and I still get apprentice account, I really don't understand how it works, such a shame would love to thrive there... they won't answer either. is it possible you need to sign up thru a ref, like yours? just a thought I had.
Having a great looking design is only part of it. The designs also have to be something people want to buy. I'm not saying that is what yours are because I haven't seen them but I want to make that distinction. My guess is that there may be sometimes where artists will get the Apprentice category just as a starting point (or a default setting) regardless of the designs. Probably because they haven't really had the bandwidth for a real person to look at it yet. It's unfortunate if that is truly the case because it is discouraging. Keep making good designs and hopefully they change your category soon.
Thank you for all the great tips! Could you please do a tutorial on how to make holographic stickers for Redbubble with Placeit or Canva? That would much appreciate! 😊
I joined TP on 9/19. 75 unique/not scaled/no copyright issues designs and I am still stuck in apprentice hell. How come? I have written to them but only get a canned response.
As apprentice what are you not allowed to do? I signed up 2024 and TP started me out as artisan. I told them that I paint watercolor, charcoal, etc. I water colored flowers and aliens. Plus digital art. Do not know what the difference is between apprentice & artisan.
@@DetourShirts My work size is 8000x10000. New account, uploaded 5 pieces of work before the account was closed. Will I have the right to get my account back? Or do I have to register again? Please give me your opinion. Thank you.
I've already sent email to them that my designs didn't show in market place and they said they will get back to me after 2 business days and now already passed over more than 2 businessday but still no reply. It also already shown artisan account. What should i do next? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
I can't believe it when I see new artisan accounts, sorry, some of their designs even use their own photos with poor photo quality for design, but most of them are new artisan accounts
I got automatically added to TeePublic because I had a Redbubble account. I was put in Artisan tier for almost a year until just this week when they downgraded me to Apprentice. That halved my royalties. LAME. I won't be putting much time into this platform.
please do not recommend such websites which deletes account without any prior notice and without any genuine violation. You are just wasting time of people who look upto you.
I actually showed that TeePublic is working in 2024. I've been using them for years without any problem. My sales (and many other people's sales from my Facebook group) went up in 2024. I personally made $13k from TeePublic in 2024. Some people do get their account removed and I am sorry about that, but that is not the norm and I still believe it is a great place to get started with Print on Demand. Have you used it? What do you know about it? What's your experience with it?
They should make the apprentice account visible in the marketplace. We already use their server space anyhow. If they want to have sales. It’s nearly impossible to get any sales. If you don’t have a big following
Good point...I also think it should be clearer on how to get an Artisan account
That’s messed up that people so clearly copying others and reaching “Artisan” while others of us have original work that doesn’t show up in results🙄
I know... I hope they take care of those copycats. It's so annoying
If we have to drive traffic from outside I think platform like fourtwall is better, it's free and we can setup margin
I don’t understand how people feel okay stealing other peoples content, all my designs are original and i would hate it if someone stole my stuff.
I agree. I wish we could report copycats for other people
Can we repost work from a closed account to a new account?
Yes but just make sure that's not the work that got you closed
Can I RE-upload my design uploaded in a suspended account
Ohhhh... I guess but how do you know if the designs you had are the things that suspended you?
I was trying to make store about typography , and all about typography art design, and it kicked me out later,
I think it reconsidered as spamming design too,
so teepublic will aware of it..

Yes... don't upload too fast. TeePublic is more about art not just text... just lots simple text shirts can be considered spammy
What are the chances of an apprentice account being upgraded to artisan?
If you are creating designs that the TeePublic audience want then your chances are pretty good

I would shoot for a design a day if possible. You can copy the same layout just make the graphics and words and maybe even fonts are different
@@DetourShirts thanks
Great video. My question is, when the people are telling you they are getting kicked off, do they mean actually getting kicked off or their account category changed from artisan to apprentice?
I assume that kicked off means losing their account not tiering down

USPTO.gov
Thanks Bro….just started. If our aacount is apparentice ..are we allow to get sale?
Yes you can still get sales.... focus on creating designs that people want to buy and share your designs on social media

Can we sell the same designs on tee public and shopify?
Yes
Is it just for shopify or any other website like zazzle or spreadshirt?

I am sorry to hear that! I'm sure the customers will get their orders and you should get paid for your sales
You got your first sale from friends and family or website itself?
So why do they ask for a PSD file to prove ownership of the uploaded designs?
Not sure. I never had to do that. That may be in the case of copycat designs?

if Money as first oriented/reason that make people joined TP, then they becomes copycat.
I don't think just money is the reason.... I think some people want "easy money" and not work for it.... different way of thinking

They are one of the better PODs for traffic out there... but yes that assumes that you keep your account and can move up to the Artisan category
