Just this week I was wondering if Maharishkaa Maiyaa would be releasing some videos of her teachings. And here they are! Wonderful! For me, Maiyaa transmits and radiates the beauty, simplicity, wisdom and joy of a deeply spiritual and fully embodied life. My heart and soul are instantly touched, met, empowered and opened in recognition through her presence. I was a seeker within the "non duality" teachings for many years which left me quite spaced out at times. No longer. Maiyaa gave me the missing piece in my spiritual jigsaw, the part I had always sensed was there, but had been left out by other teachings. For me Maiyaa is the embodiment of the divine feminine: wise; passionate and compassionate; endlessly patient and skilful in answering any question put to her with love, joy, sincerity and a sweet humour at times. Nearly reaching my 60 years on earth maharishikaaji you have catapulted me into a transformative state at this latter stage in life ! Now after days of continuous viewing your satsang podcasts (this particular one is like a synopsis, great for referring back to), first completely enthralled and synchronized, then utterly baffled and lost, finally I know I need to embrace this. Happened 3 days ago in the morning when I told myself just do it. My chattering ego (who's writing this, most likely..) protests it's been sacked, and the new CEO is the soul. (Forgive me, that's my kindergarten level's interpretation, this wisdom and practice is way advanced level and over my head.) Once I put my mind to it within moments I feel a metamorphosis. A long held deep emotional pain dissipated at a flicker, without detachment from it. Decades old physical blockages started to melt away, whilst mental shift is taking place. Only sharing this rookie's baby first steps, an experiment in progress. Gratitude, love and respect to maharishikaaji, your amazing presentations, and your team's work
7 months later, ego writing : still often in confusion yet perpetuating in practising samarpan, though not sure if mistaking surrendering to events in life or to the Truth, but in any case here I am at more ease ! Still often misunderstand words spoken here, especially 'soul', as a common person (not been a neo-advaitan nor spiritual seeker) my concept is that 'my soul' is a part of me, i.e. my thoughts and actions affects 'my soul' and this soul affects 'my life' with pre-loaded karma, it is not God (my interpretation of God is 'the cosmic law'). Now I am in the process of deciphering these differing interpretations....still struggling with 'soul/inner-soul' is or is not 'inner-atman' (antaraatman).... With Maiyaa's words for which I am deeply grateful for, being inspired & continually guided at the same time as debating & wrestling with some. At this stage I am beginning to embrace the wilderness (caution, an example : almost forgot how to drive in the middle of driving ! ), I am seeking this miracle of life looking inwards into the vastness (no sign of the Impulse, yet there's my miraculous heartbeat ! ) ; though also believe seeking in not just one direction i.e. looking outwards as well, the omnipresence. More listening to Maiyaa, the more quietening down, the more different spiritual approaches including those of disparate religions~philosophies (as the culmination of human knowledge), become one path, for me. Life work in progress. Lifelong sadhana.
This makes a lot of highly pertinant sense.I was going slightly crazy with the online proliferation of what is often here called 'neo advita nonsense' And nonsense it sounded to to my ears yet from supposedly high spiritual authority.I,as a human being ,have felt deeply wary of trying to loose myself and assume the veiwpoint of Brahman and become the universe instead of a child of it.Right now,for me at least, that seems a step too far on the wheel of becoming.Ive long felt that if we we're here only to realise the here and now as a vanity and a joke then what is the point in the first place....Anyway I've followed my own quiet compass and its led to this teaching which has reassured me that I,m not compleatly crazy and some of my misgivings were perhaps justified.For now I shall continue with my own inquiries until such time as a master appears I feel I can fully surrender to.✌️

All of us shishyas have waited years for this day! Maiyaa presents the Truth with gobsmacking simplicity. Every time we’ve heard Maiyaa answering questions, we shishyas have been incredulous! How can it be so simple?! Maiyaa has demystified spirituality like never before. A rare being. Love personified. Whose compassion if you experience once will change your life forever.
I love the thought of "taking on an identity". Paradoxically, it is the opposite of what we are told in spirituality a lot of the time but, to my ear, in effect it amounts to a different approach to the same thing: who is taking on this identity anyways? And whoever it is can make decisions about an identity (in tandem with its relationship to the outside world) by consciously taking it on. Just be present, listen to your quiet interiority and behave responsibility. Simple.
in vedanta, it is said that we are awareness and discovery of the Self (Consciousness) is through self knowledge that I am the Self. Applying this knowledge to the mind to remove ignorance of my true nature reveals to me that I am limitless awareness. So I abide (surrender?) in awareness as awareness until this knowledge is assimilated as experiential knowledge as my true identity...removing ignorance reveals that I have always been limitless awareness whole and complete....

The source created the ego and subsequently willed that a certain number of egos would realise that they are not “The Doer “ of their actions, this will come about if it is the Will of the Source and the destiny of that individual body mind organism. Do what you feel and think like doing, the outcome will not be in your control but the Will of the source. Society will hold you responsible for your actions , if you please society you will be rewarded, if society is offended society you will be punished. You do not have to” take on” a slim ego in order for human life to function for the individual body mind organism to relate to the other ( other beings, material objects and concepts ) the ego has to function. The concept of “surrender to the soul” is the same as acceptance of I am not the doer but an instrument of the Source. There are few contradictions in the teachings of Ramesh Balsekar and Maharishikaa. Ramesh would often say that each individual body mind organism was programmed by its genetic makeup and up to date conditioning both factors were both out of the individuals control and were subject to the Will of the source. I love listening to Maharishikaa and her teaching.
Does meditation not count as escapism in this sense? and I like that you bring to light the fact of soul meaning Atma, also in material form- while Sadghuru said the soul doesn't exist. Does atma translate as atom? The essence of material has energy and can show the alignment of nature and source. This truth you speak goes against the mainstream spirituality that say truth cannot be conceptualized. perhaps I misunderstand. But its true, if we don't experience it- then there is no awareness...
