I first met Maharishikaa in an open satsang in Tiruvannamalai in 2014. A year previously I was in a spiritual crisis which had broken me into pieces, summing up many years of the wrong decisions, being lost and self-destructive. I had prayed… begged to Sai Baba at the mandir in Shirdi. One year later in the presence of Maharishikaa.
Maharishikaa says: Very few people people understand the genus and the genius of the Guru-shishya relationship, this video gives so much clarity about what it is. In me it evokes an immense sense of gratitude to have found Maharishikaa (or for her having found me!?) I know that it’s something that I’ll never fully understand, but as the years go by I experience more and more of what is the Leela, the dance between the Guru and shishya. For me, to have found my Guru and to be in this dance is an experience beyond what I could have ever dreamed of, as I’m continuously shown what needs to be transformed so that I can tune in, listen to and act from the Source of love within, the Guru within.
So this is what remains once all the fears and mistrust of Western society towards Eastern Gurus have been removed? Wow! Beautiful, precious, priceless.
I’ve read many texts trying to understand this Guru Shishya relationship, having grown up in Mumbai and not having much exposure to it. The way Maharishikaa described it, is just perfection.
And I’m truly lucky, to have found Maharishikaa as my Guru. So grateful! I only wish for more people to find their gurus! ❤️

It help to comprehend the complexity of such a precious relation, completely misunderstood from western society.
It remind me, the mirror of our inner relation with God, Love, Mother Earth...what ever we prefer to call Life itself.
We try to escape everytime...but no way out, from "here and now"! In this sense I completely realise that "metter", our body, is the key to experience it.
Probably ( I talk by my side) it take a Long time to understand also what the Master of the past were pointing. To me, they helped me immensly to realize how contitioning is everything we think, feel, and also believe as opinions ecc ecc ...it is our culture and every culture.
But these days, I found we really need to re/embody our human form..to realise how to move, how to live together as human been in peace and balance.
So thank you so so much for your deep teaching..it it the most complete I ever went in contact, really.
I don t want put in discussion other teachers that step by step bring me here, they were needed, but to me every teaching point "here".

I could watch this over and over again. The breadth and width of the answer and just the feeling after watching this, is of being in the presence of a true living master. Somehow, even over the video and youtube, something can still be felt palpable and tangibly from the Maharishikaa. So much light cast on such a beautiful and often "mysterious" topic - yet a wonderful, deep and I would go far as to say, essential relationship to have in one's life.

Maharishikaa has given me so much clarity on this. Having a living Guru is a precious, precious opportunity but I hadn't really learned that the disciple has to maintain courage and keep digging within and never just rely on the Guru to find the Truth for them. This has completely transformed me and my Sadhana. Namaskaar Maiyaa
I love studying enlightened people and she certainly is. My guru is Sadhguru but I would never take away from what she brings to the world 🙏 she is the best guru for many. Not everyone is for everyone so I would not expect everyone to follow my guru when she is perfect for so many. All from one source, I bow down to all and to the source 🙏

Have been very very fortunate to experience the Guru-shishya relationship. It is something that is beyond my ability to explain. In simple words, it is a relationship between Arjuna and Krishna. Difficult also in a family when one operates from ego and cannot bend.
What is the difference between worshiping and being devoted to a guru?
Is it possible for me as a German to spend 4 weeks with Maharashikaa to learn and experience from her during this time?
The system breaks down. A guru has no accountability for what happens in the disciples life. For instance if a direction is encouraged that involves marriage or children. Digger may assume that he or she knows what’s best but ultimately doesn’t have to be accountable for whether or not he was correct in that encouragement or suggestion. It’s a relationship of a lot of trust but without much accountability.
I dont understand, why bend down to a guru if the purpose of the relationship is to bend down to ones inner self?
Isnt it part of the gurus ego to enjoy being bend down to?
I understand, you bend down to the truth in the guru, but is that whats really happening and why that before bending to the truth within?

If you feel doubt on your guru, then he is not your guru.
A real guru, you have no choice but to fall on his feet.
It is that clear.
Ask every genuine seeker and dont be surprised, these is the answer

Physical relation between guru & disciple? Sounds like a slippery Kula Tantra path for which 99% + people are not qualified to tread upon, in my view, best avoided. Just my personal opinion of course. The rest of the video was fabulous and resonates very well! Also, ultimately each must discern the difference between mind-body impulse and pure love vibration, moment to moment to moment.
It may interest you that at the following link Maharishikaa speaks AGAINST a physical relationship between guru & disciple. She says that a guru is to be looked at as guru, neither as man nor as woman.
Thus discernment has to be applied when we interpret her, and we have to look at nuance.

At that video I think it's also understood that she herself has no physical relationships with anybody.
I dont understand. When she talks about physical relationship why do you guys immediataly think about sex and stuff of that nature? Isnt a hug, for instance, also a kind of physical relationship?
