What I love so much about BTS is that no matter how many times they perform the same song it always feels fresh, new, different. They sing, dance, perform with so much energy, intention and commitment. They don’t do anything halfway. It’s always all or nothing. 💜💟
Only a true dancer would connect to and point out the scrambling that was happening in those dark boxes. 🤣 you never dissapoint!

I would say you need to watch MMA 2019 now and the rest of 2018.
Boys have been working none stop.
And it hits differently when you understand the lyrics
I love little things about their dances that you don't always catch as an audience. J hope mentioned how many references there are to marionettes and how they practiced so hard to make certain falls look like the strings were being cut from the doll. The would even practice going limp stylishly so would just flop to the ground like that lifeless doll. In the lyrics of Fake love they speak on willing to do anything and chance anything to make even a fake love work. How even this fake love has controlled and possessed them. I think that's what's really showmanship is the dedication to making even the smallest detail of the dance look and reference the lyrics. I feel it's a universal heartbreak of feeling like your heart has been toyed with and wanting to change yourself. BTS does great at channeling those emotions and displaying it with art.

Honestly, I think that their ability to dance and sing live as well as they do comes down to artist development. No one can deny that the k music industry really invests in building their artists. Look at Big Bang and Suju. Two of the biggest bands in Kpop and they all had extensive training. It is also worth noting that the same thing happened with Bangtan Bang PD saw that they didn’t all fit koreas aesthetic but they could all be something great if they were given the chance. I think that doesn’t exist here in the west because we don’t invest in artist and longevity we invest in moments.

the best part (personally I think) is idol! After fake love, there re other two songs performed. and these three combines as a whole mma 2018 performance.

I love how you said you can still see all their different personalities! They mentioned they have been working towards this and it really shows. They have always been amazing but over the last few years they really have grown into something so much more.
BTS kings of formations. Also tight, always close, always exact. They could give a master class....then again they've danced together for over 10 years with the same main choreographers.
Bts performances are always engaging and interesting. The themes often have been done before but with that Bts flavour.
I would say they're captivating and the most humble, hardworking and talented group. That's why they're the greatest:)

Their coreography reflects the content of the lyrics. Their power moves match the artistry of more subtle elements..example that marionette position, outstanding. You missed the last bit of stagecraft where they disappear a la the Wicked Witch of the West. Classic Broadway/ Hollywood magic. Stay well

LOL He talked over the 2 parts that I came to watch the video for...
Ikr - that moment at the beg when you think Tae wearing the mask is alone on stage, then the camera pans round & they're all there behind him - gives me goosebumps every time I see it! And then the rippling out of them reaching when they start singing...both amazing moments. And he really should've watched till the end of the segment, with the cloaks & the exit, cos it all works as a dramatic whole. Hope he's gonna react to Idol too, cos I love it.. esp at the end when it gets so fun & crazy, with the lions bouncing around as well lol :D

You need to react to the live and practice performances from MMA 2019, the performance is 37 minutes long but their practice video was shot in 2 part with individual routines then the Dionysus practice. You would love Jimin part!! Glad I found your channel, love you💜
Tbh since I’ve started listening to BTS in October 2013 yes almost after their debut I quit listening to American music tbh and their award shows over there beat the hell out of all American shows by far they can’t even compete w those over there love award shows there last few years at MMA and MAMA awards BTS performed like 20 to 50 min long amazing like damn mini concert
