I'm a warranty repair tech for Dell and I hate working on these. I mean I've only done 1 before but I hate antenna cables and this thing is a nightmare with them. How did you manage to get the mobo out without messing with many of the antenna cables? Is it easy to figure out? I didn't think to try it the one time I worked on one. I think when I did it I only was able to keep like 3/14 antenna cables plugged in. I noticed you were able to keep most if not all of them plugged in and wiggle it out and flop it over the side. I have to work on one tomorrow morning and may just cancel and get it reassigned.
Just take a picture before... that will help you put it together later. From what I remember, you need to disconnect the only 2 wires to the WiFi module to flip the board.
@@MM78 Is that the one that was under it? What size were the antenna cable connectors that you had to disconnect? I can handle the bigger ones, its the smaller ones I really struggle with.
@@MM78 Got it! Also what was it you had to do under the keyboard at the start? Will that be necessary for a mobo replacement? I don't remember needing to do any of that when I worked on my last rugged but it may have been a different model.
Just did this today, everything is back together and I have more RAM but I noticed my USB-C on the right side (opposite of Fan) isn’t working, DOH! Need to open it up. And check that ribbon I suppose. 🤔

@@Eddysamson1 Under the bigger board is the regular WiFi card.
