- A once lonely rescued fox named Sherlock loves pouncing and running around all over the place. He's full of joy now and knows that he's loved. But when Meagan just got him, he felt really lonely. That's when a tiny kitten, Gwen, appeared in his life. It took a while for them to get bonded, but now they're almost like siblings. And thanks to Gwen, Sherlock can feel joy again.

When I lived in the North we had cats and we had foxes coming into our yard. The foxes never hurt the cats, once our cat chased a fox away. Yes, there is a stigma about foxes, but they are such sweet, gentle animals. My husband would be sitting on the lawn chair in summer and the fox would sit down beside him, or follow him around the yard when he was doing chores. I have lots of photos of foxes, beautiful creatures. When it was very hot they would bury their bodies in our thick lawn and sit under the trees. I am a cat lover also, have had cats all of my life. Right now I have a tuxedo rescue cat who is very vocal and affectionate. Animals sense kindness.
