Nice vid, we use the exact same mic!!! I'm about to get monetized, and I'm studying this to get better at what I do. Amazing guide, thanks for putting this out there.

I got you! 🫡 I could honestly learn a thing or two from your editing too

    Additional Thoughts/Advice:
    1. Be Inspired. Look at your favorite youtube creators/videos and break down the reasons that you love them. Is it the way the creator wrote the script? The editing? The music choice? Try and recreate those aspects in your own videos.
    2. Don't let your mind hide your story. Don't let your perceived lack of skill or fear of rejection stop you from attempting to create. Do it.
    3. Always Be Creating & Practicing. Your final product ideally shouldn't be your only product. Practice editing by making memes or smaller projects so you don't get frustrated or hit a skill wall when working on your bigger and more desired projects.
    4. Follow your heart. Don't chase the algorithm (unless it's in favor of something you actually care about). I've done it a few times and it's not really worth it even if it garners views. When you chase the algorithm for quick views that audience won't stay for you as a person. Focus on building an audience around your core values even if that means your video will only get like 3 views. The people that want to find your videos will find them (even if it's years later).
    5. Move around! Some of my best ideas come when I'm not actively looking for them. Moving around and walking outside or to another room might help you with idea flow.
    6. Your Perspective Matters. You should make the videos you want (even if 100 people made a video on the topic you want to talk about). Your perspective and experience on the topic is unique and adds to the discussion.
