I'm so excited for the Reviavalist getting the recognition the deserve, but a bit saddened as well. As soon as they blow up I won't be able to see them in as much of an intimate setting as I would have liked to. Much love to this band. I listened to Fade Away and Move Along on repeat during a really hard break up.
I can't get enough of these guys and I truly have goosebumps now!

That Pedal Steel Guitar* is a super great American instrument. I don't know who invented that, but it's great. Or if it has American origin, (seems Hawaiian,) but you've mastered it (to me). Has a distinct American sound, different to the Hawaii sound.

And Pete Drake reminds me of Jim Reeves*, LP's my father had.

These guys are trying hard, but honestly, lyrically and musically this is pretty basic, if not boring. A covers band with a song, kind of.
If you care at all, check out their album men amongst mountains. Personally prefer that over the releases on the new album mainly because they are seemed to be trying to get radio play over composing creative songs
