I have lived through two EF3 tornadoes. My nephew lived through both of the Moore, Oklahoma EF5 tornadoes. When you see one up close and personal you understand that we are helpless against the power of nature. And tornadoes sound like tornadoes nothing else. Once you hear it you will never forget it.
I could not agree more.
twisters & earthquakes... VERY distinct sounds!!!
I'm from Grand Island NE and we had 7 tornados on June 3, 1980 I was 25 years old they even made a movie about it Grand Island in the movie was known as Lanesworth not Grand Island and the people who live there til' this day still remember that fateful dat Night of the Twisters is based on the true story of the 7 tornados that hit Grand Island back in June 3, 1980 at the end of the movie showed a family trying to go through the underpass when the car window broke behind them trying to get the boy and his family hung onto him until the tornado subsided that was a horrible experience for the citizens of Grand Island,NE a town I am proud to come from
Glad you all were ok
Lived through a bad one in 2003, in IL. Sounded like a really long thunder. We had no basement, so me, my 2 youngest, and my grandson were all huddled in the bathroom. Closest I have ever been to one and I pray I am never that close again!
Me an my daughter an 2 grandchildren lived through a tornado it came out of nowhere in Oak Grove,Alabama in 1998 we were hurt just shaken but the people down the road were killed. Scary stuff. It was an F4 tore up plenty. Praise God we were spared.
My family members lived there and also survived that tornado
Tornadoes bad stuff. Never want to see one up close and personal. Lived in Nebraska years ago saw one up in the sky going over head. That was too close.
I live in the UK, fortunately we don't get tornadoes here,so glad you were spared any injury.
Pretty sure that it didn't come out of nowhere. Parameters are there the NWS keeps abreast of these conditions. It's generally WHT areas are under Severe weather watches
And I think that's near Georgiana Alabama my hometown. Scary
As a weather buff for most of my life.....this was a good movie! Well worth the watch! 👍👍
Yes indeed enjoyed it was 💜💙🧡
I enjoy watching nature,disaster movies

AGREE, ANOTHER WEATHER BUFF.
Well this was a real treat for sure! Great little movie, quite believable acting and it was nice to see not only Gerald McRaney but it really took me back to see the wonderful Joan Van Ark. Movies like this are why I keep clicking on a lot of free you tube movies out there. You never know when you're going too catch a little gem like this one was. I'm planning on watching it more than once!
Have you seen Tornado Valley? Another, great movie.
Worth the watch. Good acting and CGI eh. I lived in Amarillo when the tornadoes came through. When the sirens blew I was at work and we shut down then ran to the shelter. Nothing was left of my building. 60 foot light poles looked like pigs tails. My house was safe but had no electricity and that would last for a month. I went and stayed with friends but moved later that year.
I actually only got up once watching this movie it was that intriguing I really enjoyed it specially the language was clean.
This was better than I expected! Although I should have known with Gerald McRaney it would be good! Never even heard of it before. What a golden find!
forever
I love Gerald Mc Craney he did Simon and Simon years ago .
McRaney.
Yeah I watched that too.. they don't make shows like that anymore..
McRaney is how he spells his last name..
I've been in three tornados and luckily Survived them. Those things scare the hell out me. Monolithic dome homes have been shown to withstand hurricanes, fires, floods and tornados. I don't know why the people don't have a way to get into a shelter from inside the houses. By not being able to get into shelters from inside their homes they stand an extremely great chance of getting killed.
Hope your good luck continues. Tornados can happen anywhere but they seem to have favorite areas to show up. Were all yours in the same area?

Think about it…. If the entrance to a storm shelter is *inside* the house, and then house collapses, the entrance -which is also the *exit-* may be buried under a heavy pile of debris, trapping those inside.
I don't know if any of you have ever seen the house in Las Vegas, but it has an underground shelter which the people can get to from inside the house, and they also have another way of getting out of the shelter if the one inside the house does collapse. You just might want to do your research just like I did before you make a comment like you did.
@@fredachildress3728 I specifically pointed out that the problem lay with home shelters that only have *one* entrance/exit. And the fact is most home shelters -whether beneath the home or separate- have exactly that… *one.* Until two entrance/exit shelters become the norm, it’s necessary to point out this potential, and potentially life-threatening, issue. But, hey… great for that *one* home in Las Vegas. 🙄
No need to be so defensive when someone merely mentions an important detail in hopes that it might help someone avoid a serious mistake.
Cool movie, the ending was quite cute. I've been in two Tornadoes with little warning, caught outside in one of them, on a golf course, on a clear day the storm came out of nowhere, but I only had scratches on my arms and face from the parts of a 70 foot tree the Tornado tore apart.
That was 43 years ago, before we had the storm prediction systems we have today. My first Tornado hit us in November of '65, in Tinley Park IL and during the storm a lightning strike made our apple tree catch on fire, it was split in two.
We took shelter in our cellar, and other than damage to our vines which we made and sold grape jelly locally, our home withstood the F2 Tornado.
I was chased by a tornado down I-75 in Michigan, on the way home from Traverse City. I saw this tornado in my rear-view mirror, and gunned the engine, that thing chased me for 5 miles, before I was able to get off the highway at the Grayling exit. As I got off the highway, I saw the tornado cross right to left, (North to south) in my rear-view mirror. As Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 says, " missed me by that much". Been in and around several over the years.
It was funny when the mayor was talking on the bullhorn saying, There's no need to panic! The tornado is not coming this way! I repeat! The tornado is not com........And then the banner hits her! So funny! 😆😆😆
Great movie! It was also funny when the mayor was being put in the ambulance she was saying, Now the parade will be starting momentarily, I want you all in your started positions, This September I will be realected......and then the doors to the ambulance closed! 😄😄😄
@@bonnieriffle8371 In September, the town was willing to elect a horse rather than that mayor.
😆😆😆
Lol 😀😀🤣 Yeah we all knew the #CRAZYMAYOR was gonna DIE or get hit hard!!!
Really good movie !!! My Dad built a storm cellar just outside a side door. Didn’t have to go far to get in it. The eye of Hurricane Carla came through our small town in Texas in 1961 about 150 west of Houston. I was 6 yrs old. We took in a family from Houston as the storm was passing through. Have lived in Tornado Alley all my life in Texas and now in Kansas. Thank God homes in Kansas are required to be built with basements. Our home has a section in the basement with 3 walls of concrete. But, I still stand out on the front porch watching storms as my husband is yelling at me to get it the basement. MB?
Yeah, I'll never understand the ppl, who insist on pew-pewing the forces of nature. If nature comes at u, u cant win, just get out of the way!
Considering the number of people hurt or killed each year. We will never run out of this sceanario.
OMG!!! This is the 2002 one. I've been wanting to watch this for a very long time now. Only seen it once and was hoping to be able to watch it again some day, but could very find it online to watch cause none of the sites would let me. Thank you so much for the upload.
As a weather watcher myself this movie was excellent. Gerald Mc Crainey was brilliant.
He's a great actor
Oh yes have you seen his 1984 movie called city killer ? Another great movie of his when he was much younger !
McRaney.
People need to make more Tornado movies more often
Great movie. Especially with NO cusring in it.
Absolutely none. Brilliant ❤
No black that why black movie each word is a curse word
@michaelle8384 You are mad ignorant. It doesn't have anything to do with race. Every nationality uses curse words you just happened to comment on a movie that did not.
Yes!!! It’s so hard to get into movies when all they do is swear.
No killing or sexual content
Always enjoy Gerald MCRaney’s work.
and his voice
@sherrydubois6164 I think Delta is a very lucky woman!
I moved out of tornado alley after 25 years of tornados. The last one was 3 together. We received 30s of warning. We ended up moving up the stairwell after the solid steel metal startded be pulled out. We could see outside. The huge waterpipe that would take multiple people to go around started spewing water. I was reading my bible and praying. I had my first class that night and was flash flooding. I was able to get through in my little Toyota Tercel. The class was cancelled. I was greatful and thankful. Praising God. To get home to my baby daughter.
I watched this movie the first time probably 15 years ago from television and liked it very much. Now I watch it again and still like it.
Always enjoy Gerald McRaney's movies.
ME TOO
WE HAD A ROOT CELLAR IN THE HOUSE WHEN MOM,DAD BOUGHT OUR HOUSE..OUR HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1864.. BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR..A LOT OF HISTORY IN THIS OLD HOUSE..
I thought that this movie was pretty good! But that Kirt Reed was definitely CRAZY INSANE!!
Definitely mad he was
Just like the days of Noah! No one believed until it was too late!
Yes…
I’ve watched a lot of storm videos on TH-cam and I have to admit this one is the best.
I remember Gerald Mc Raney in Simon &Simon with Jameson Parker and Gerald Mc Raney,it was on in the 80's. Nice to see Mr Mc Raney here in this film,it is good.
Gerald Mc Rainey is a brilliant actor,i remember him years ago from the tv show Simon and Simon in the 80's. That was good too.
McRaney.
After reading few comments a watching movie now seems to be good soo far thanku for uploading this movie for us🙂
Really, really liked this one! Thanks for the upload!
If you have'nt seen Night of the Twisters you'll know what I mean good movie as well
But thanks for the upload. Great movie, especially with Gerald McRaney! Strangely good acting. Funny. A bit goofy twist on real meteorology, but still way better than most tornado movies. A+
How Joan Van Ark tolerated wearing that ridiculous outfit and playing such a ludicrous role is the real miracle in this film 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well done !!
Who was playing the female reporter in this movie? Her acting is quite good .
LOVE WATCHING WEATHER MOVIES 🍿🍿
Bookmark 58:57 Good movie! Thank you for sharing ❤
The skies are completely clear and yet his radar tells him a tornado is only 100 yards away….nice
I was born a day after 90 miles from the famous Dallas tornado of April 2nd, 1957, famous because it was a limited video footage of a tornado available to be featured on TV news for decades. Today everyone has a camera & there is plenty examples.
I lived just outside an edge of the storm system that produced that F4 that hit western Kentucky.
No cursing in this movie my kind of movie
Watching for Gerald McRaney. Really liked the clever cheesy ending. Bet they had a lot of fun filming that.
I’bern in one tornado. Survived. Still remember it vividly. Nature is mighty.
Reporter says one building standing and there is a few houses and another building right behind her. Does this bother anyone else??
It will bother me. I'm a real weather girl
Not as bad as twister two out running f5 in a field of corn. Movies,
That's about the level of honesty you get from any news source these days so why not?
Nope
@@edmondson7693Twister is a classic and as close to real as a movie can get
1:20:26, tornado warning sirens activation for the town of Two Rivers Bend. Love the sound of the sirens use on the Movie. Glad everyone got to shelter before the tornado hit the Town. Still love the sirens sounding off around town and during Live Coverage of the F5 tornado. Love the movie.
This has been very enjoyable. Thank you.
Good fun, some hiccups with staging but all in all a well acted, fast paced film.
I enjoyed this movie.
Mark, poor guy, seemed like a guy just barely out of college to me, while the reporter seemed a lot older than him. Kind of wonky for a movie romance, but I enjoyed the movie. And I ALWAYS enjoy watching Gerald McRaney in his roles.
Have you seen his 1984 city killer movie another great one of Gerald !
Truly a low budget and stupid copy of the excellent film “Twister”, but I appreciate you hosting films.
Wow crazy not even one swear word AMAZING ❤
Very good film I like excellent
Great movie ! Well worth the watch.
Good story 😇👍
Really enjoyed this movie. The ads weren't a big deal because you could skip most of them quickly.
👍🏻👍🏻
You could try getting a couple of ad blockers, just do the reviews on them.
All I have to do is push the skip button when the adds come on.
@@debracarrabba1656 you tube has made it against their terms for having an ad blocker. you get 3 strikes, then they go after you and block you from watching.
they are trying to get people to get you tube premium with no ads .
Good stuff, very enjoyable flick!
F5 in Fargo North Dakota June 1957
I like you. Even this much, you still haven't abandoned your mega tone.😂😂
Wonderful exciting movie. Really enjoyed it.
ME TOO ❤❤
Great movie. McRaney was very conviencing
He was also CONVINCING.
@@jb6712 that too
In the very beginning of the movie
"If Im right its going to start right over there"
*Points to large supercell*
Already know Im gonna love this movie!
Sadly not being sarcastic. I really do love these types of movies
A straightforward movie, ironies galore, however enjoyable way to pass time ❤❤
These are some of the best special effects I've ever seen!! 😆
I enjoyed this one ❤
SAME
loved it
a bit better budget and this thing is a block buster.
It's well done...
decent acting.
good enough special effects.
Excellent gem of a movie, I really enjoyed this one. Had all the best elements. Thanks for sharing.
Yup Once you hear that Freight Train like sound you'll never forget it.
Lord I thought the mayor was killed by the tornado but she survived the tornado Thank God because she was pinned down under her car
I’m so glad I going this movie. The movie was very good. It was realistic and family friendly. And a great ending !
大好きな映画なので観られてよかったです!
That was a very good movie.
Yes
I give you five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ agrat movie
Great movie, liked it very much.
Loved this film xx hope they do find a way to predict these tornados x
According to what l read there were 6 people killed in 1974 Emporia tornado. Not six hundred. I was actually attending Emporia State then, but happened to be home that weekend. I heard stories from friends and faculty what it was like.
That was the only thing I didn't like.
It's nothing but a movie, meant for entertainment. The writers can, will, and always do, take creative license, facts not needing to be followed for a piece of fiction.
I can never understand why anyone tries to correct anything as blatantly obviously incorrect when it's very clear it's meant to convey something akin to "the horror of the storm," and nothing more.
Thanks for uploading this quite enjoyable movie.
Great fun!!!! Many thanks from Sao Paulo, Brazil
This was a very good movie, if you like this kind of movies, definitely watch it
A scientist ( Gerald mcraney) perfects a tornado 🌪️ warning system and tries to convince residents of a nearby town that a deadly 🌪️ twister 🌪️ is approaching! Mr mcraney is good in this movie-a no-nonsense guy who doesn’t approve of the antics of a Reed timmer-like moron! Pretty good special effects! Joan van ark appears as the mayor of the town who is skeptical of the scientist’s warnings that she gets hurt by the tornado 🌪️! Great movie 🎥! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Yup buildings behind them must have been “outside” of town
I heard the freight train sound, and it sounds exactly like that.
The opening scene is crazy got to value life and others life's to the fullest
Great movie! thanks!
great 🌪 tornado action.
Funny movie ! i personally survived a strong tornado ,i survived the 12-10-2021 Mayfield KY ! Quad State Tornado Outbreak .I was working at the candle factory (MCP) a high end EF4 190 mph winds tornado, wrapped in rain at times in the darkness of night !
thank ypu for shating
I enjoyed the movie very much. Thank you for sharing 😊
Now that was fun and cool thanks 👍😊
This would be watchable if it didn’t look like it’s been shot on old video tape.
Tornado siren goes off, and the Mayor be like, "THERE'S NOT GOING TO BE A TORONTO" 😅
Dee and her dad survived the 1978 tornado
The 1996 movie Twister sets the standards for tornado movies. I've seen all kinds of tornado movies and the way they make post Twister movies, low budgets, cheap special effects
subplot after subplot and a slow paced drama story to build up characters.
This one could have been cut to 45 minutes and would still have been ten minutes too long.
This was really a good movie, Thank you! 🙋♀️💕
awesome 🎥 movie, great action.
So thankful we were kept safe in our little 43 yr. Old brick house, but the next door 2 story was torn up. I tore our town up bad.
Very good...enjoyed it!
#LOVELOVELOVE This #MOVIE 🙋🏽♀️💯💯 & #THANKYOU
Thanks for a great movie. I really enjoyed it the ads don’t bother me. I know they pay for the movie.❤😊
Good exciting movie 👍
Great! Nice movie😊😊😊
The 1964 Pontiac convertible that the mayor rises in is a very rare Canadian model. It looks like a Bonneville but it's called the Parisienne. Unlike U.S. Pontiacs, Canadian models were built on Chevrolet platforms which meant they rode a 119 inch wheelbase instead of 124 inches, and they offered the complete range of 1964 Chevy engines, from the modest 6 cylinder, through the high performance 409 cubic inch V8. Besides the Parisienne, Canadian Pontiac models included the Laurentian and Strato Chief. The carbin the film is the top line Parisienne Custom Sport.
