Your videos are such a peaceful oasis for us. You are a master of both audio and visual. The sweep of the scythe. The muted (ty!) din of the cicadas. The crunch of the cabbage. The space that you invite in your shot framing. The path of the sun through the days. The lift of the drone. The gleam of a kitty eye. Each moment, each detail feels like grace.
I couldn't have put it better myself! The man is a true cinematographer!
Thank you for the kind words, I am happy you all enjoy them
Will, your pumpkin seed storage container is wonderful! Great to see Taylor and love the name you have for you precious baby. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos. 😊
Thank you for watching! Pumpkins are popping up now
The nighttime call of the whippoorwill and a train. Perfect way to close out a day
I love it
Another masterpiece❤ you’re video transitions are so lovely. Great seeing all the various life and work on your farm as alway☀️🌱🤩
Thank you I’m glad you’re enjoying them
Your videos are pure relaxation and educational. Found you through Jesse. Even though you don’t have a constant video feed it’s valuable nonetheless.
I'm glad you're finding value, thank you
For whatever reason, I never received a notice on this one and I am signed up for "all". Silly YT. So happy I came to check - and found this one from last week. Made my Saturday complete! Awesome awesome vid. Thank you!
I love to hear the birds sing, even if they do get my blackberries! Thanks Wil 👍
They better save me some though I’m not paying $8 for a tiny little container any longer
I love ALL Honeybee Hollow Gardens videos!
Wonderful & relaxing look into your lifestyle! Thanks for sharing! Blessings to all 🤗🇨🇦
And the sounds of the woodsman echoes through the land...

Soon enough!
My little Jane train, P Bear, Puggle Butt is always the star!!!
Of course
Hey, a little birdie told us it was your birthday. Happy blessings on your special day! I hope you and Taylor are having a super fun, blessed day!
Thank ya!
you are gonna love bein a papa
Good video Sir! Thanks for showing the cicada's - I had not seen them before other than in pictures. Things are looking good. Chickens will always find the open door or hole in the fence and that way they come back to it on their own at night. I will be interested to see how those rutabaga's keep in the moistened peat moss. The chainsaw to point the post is a good idea - when I made poplar post I sharpened everything with an axe...your method a whole lot easier. Good job!
There were thousands of them, they've gotten quiet recently. Thanks for watching :)
So lovely.
Boy, have I missed your videos Wil!❤
Glad you’re enjoying, Jody!
I've got a weed puller that does that, it's a little different, but I love it. Thank goodness, the cicadas have stopped... Oh I was wrong... there they are again.
I love the cicadas! Won't get another double brood for 200+ years I don't think
Happy Birthday to you Wil, or as my kids call you, MUSHROOM MAN!
Ha! One of them will be a mushroom man one day I’m sure! Thanks!
A man and his dog.❤
That's a crock! Lolol.😂That mushroom looked like you were cutting tender meat. Video is beautiful, bless you and Taylor and Otto! BTW! I planted bush beans with my okra this year too. Great minds think alike
Thank ya thank ya! Okra & beans go together like peas & carrots!
Happy Birthday Will. Enjoy your day!🎂🎂🥳🥳💖💖
Many a thanks!
Nice!
Hey Will another great video! The sights and sound of spring! The sounds are a little louder down there with the cicadas this year. They sound like what I imagine what hovering alien spaceships would sound like. I saw you folks shelling chicken and dumpling cow peas which reminded me to ask how tall do the vines grow? I am finalizing my trellising in the garden for mine. Very excited to try growing them. Thank you. Little Otto! Love the name. 💕
Thank you and yes it is loud! The cowpeas will grow as much as you let them. They love heat and will grow until it starts to cool. One vine here can sprawl in all directions up to 20 ft
Twenty feet! Holy cow! That is actually cool and perfect! I’m growing them in front of my covered chicken run. I have a trellis, but I was hoping that they would grow beyond and up and over the run. Providing shade to my girls during the summer. My fingers are crossed 🤞 that we have a hot summer! Cape Cod being a peninsula means we are cooler than mainland New England.
Where y’all able to see any of the northern light down that far. We had a cool show up by the NC/SC state line.
No I was editing this video and didn’t hear about it till this morning! Will look tonight
I have not seen or tasted Huckleberry. I am in Ohio. Lol I just comment as I watched the video...didn't mean to hog space.😂
It tastes almost exactly like a blueberry as it’s the same genus. Just smaller & more tangy
Hi! Beautiful videos, found you through Jess, been watching her for years now. Tip if I may, I have had chickens for a while and a tip I learned from a friend is to only clip one wing at a time. It does seem to work better for me, it throws them off balance that way. If you clip both sides they can still fly pretty good sometimes.
Interesting, thank you. I'll try it out
Relaxing and beautiful! Did you see the auroras last night in South Carolina ? We saw them here in the central Missouri ozarks and it was absolutely breathtaking.
No but I didn’t check. Had no idea they were showing up that far south. Was there a solar flare?
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens Yeah they are saying it was from a solar flare.
@HoneybeeHollowGardens biggest flare since 2005
Ah…so relaxing. What is the name of your wonderful dog?
Janie, she’s got a million nicknames though
❤
So green and lush! 😍
Are those cicadas I hear in the background?
Yes, they’re deafening
Wow, huckleberry picking in May? We don't get them in the pacific NW until August or Sept.
Yeah blueberries are the first fruit, then blackberries
Let us know how those rutabagas work out! I've dinked around trying to store them without success.
Will do.
Will. could potatoes be preserved in peat moss? I know people have used dry sand for that purpose but it seems logical for potatoes. Watch all of your peaceful videos and love them.I live in the same vicinity as you with the high humidity. Just wondering.
Not sure the video I saw it on said specifically they don’t use it for potatoes
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens Thanks anyway. I may try a few just to see if it works.
Will, were you supposed to cut off roots and tops? I would have left them intact I think….😮
Do you grow bush or pole green beans with your okra?
Both, bush on the south side of the okra, pole on the north side if you have a wide enough bed
What are those mushrooms?
Inonotus hispidus (shaggy polypore) it’s listed as inedible online mostly but we’ve been eating it for years. We know a world expert mycologist who advised us that’s it’s good to eat
