    I was fortunate enough to get a very high paying job at a young age of 23. I have noticed that once you make enough money to live comfortably and not worry about expenses at all then anything beyond that does not matter so much. Obviously it shouldn’t be anything to discourage anyone but I can see people losing ambition once they achieve a comfortable level of success. You’re killing it man keep up the good work, you inspire me to run my own shop if anything were to ever happen down the road.

      getting a high paying job and saving +investing for 20 years is a lot less stressful than trying to run ones one business

    Right on man. It’s a battle between yourself and the business every day that no one understands. You and the business are the same but feel so different. What I’ve come to learn is appreciate and adore the positives and benefits and in the negatives, keep the head down, focus, and push through.

    Your videos provide what most plumbing business owners aren’t willing to share.
    Taking notes on all your conversations. I hope you open my own plumbing business once licensed.
    Thank you

    Sometimes I'm like fuck my boss I'm gonna make my own shop (I'm a machinist). But then you drop this absolute banger. More money more problems !! Keep em' coming boss.

    Also the liability. Most people don’t know how much damage a small plumbing mistake can create. The last company I worked for got sued for several million dollars after a 3/8” make up line broke loose and fried a bunch of severs. Shit is scary.

    Brass do you invest in any stocks or anything to make your money work for you?

    • @brasshouse-og
      @brasshouse-og  17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I do, I put a small amount into a Roth IRA but honestly it’s hard for me to think of a better investment than my company. We went from $7,000 and a pick up to 2 million in a year. In year 2 we will pass 5 million so any money I would invest in the market would be better spent buying another truck or more tools and assets.

    hey union electrician here. before I set my name in stone in my liberal blue state of Oregon/ Washington. I visited other states to decide where i would want to live/work. I visited Florida, tennessee, virgina, and passed by a couple around. The right to work states or red states are great. But don't pay shit compared to blue states in the electrical and other trades. I have met people moving over to my area because the pay alone. Interesting you say your cards wouldn't be the same if you set up shop in some other place. But there is a big strong arm in the politics, mainly for big cities. I've noticed only rural areas are free from the politics.

      That’s true as well. The blue states are better for the employees more often than not. You just have more potential in the red states. I agree with you

    Had opportunity to take family business and said screw that. Not with so much high minded ignorance around anymore. Went from watching employees sweat and work their ass off like we did to standing around on Flakebook doing nothing. So glad to be out of that business. Rather keep it simple and just work at a warehouse somewhere. 😊 👍

    Love the content man, I find your advice and the way you think very useful. But I’m just curious, why do you post videos. Networking, getting jobs, trying to help people? Just curious

      I make the videos for a bunch of different reasons. Mostly because I think it’s cool and it’s the type of shit I was wanting to hear before I started my business up and while I was grinding in my career. I also think it’s cool that a dummy like me can build all this up from nothing. I think a lot of guys that were in my spot. Need to see it.
