Thanks for checking it out! Honestly by the time you gut the front end out there's not much more to add the front end 4x4, I could have just as easily started with a 2wd haha
The fuel MPG with the 40s is still better than my Tacoma with 35s, 456 gears and a 4.0.. thinking about letting that guy in North Carolina do a swap for me, 20 K but it is a new engine, 2.0
i have a 86 c10 im currently building its a single cab short bed with a alh im curious on what turbo you would recommend for light towing? i think my trailer with car is around 4200lbs
@keystonedrift7677 that 1852 would be decent HP, but you can go much bigger on the LP, most guys are going up to like s3XX sizes in the Borg warner turbos
@keystonedrift7677 thanks for watching! I believe a rule of thumb is you can about double "air" on the low pressure versus the high pressure. So if your high pressure is about a 25 to 30 PSI Turbo you are looking for a 50 to 60 PSI low pressure. The hx35 is barely good to 35 PSI anyway, I've got bigger singles on my stuff 😂. Not to say it wouldn't "work" but the idea is that the turbos don't have to work very hard, you don't want to be anywhere close to max if possible
It definitely makes crawling around effortless, but man does it eat the power. I think an auto would be better in a lighter rig so it doesn't have to slip so much to get moving. 100% love it off road though. Just kills the highway acceleration.
badass man, cant believe it turns those 40s so easy. also cant believe how small it makes the cummins look haha
It's definitely bigger than I was expecting 😂
Truck looks amazing! It’s come such a long way from since you first bought it. Congrats man, what a cool build!👍
Thanks man! Ya it's like a whole new ride! 😁
Smooth like butter. Great job kyle
Thanks sir!
Wow-what a intercooler.
Just right hahaha
Do you think a SAS would be possible on a rwd quad cab or would the frame be too narrow? I love your build man! Thing looks amazing

Sweet rig!!!
Thanks man!
Yeah it pushes that around good, definitely would want it to build boost lower if you made it a off-roader, but that’s what the jeep is for haha
Exactly, there's so much more weight on this rig
Sorry I made it feel short. 🤷🏻♂️
😂😂😂 well at least you are caught up on videos now...
Love the build..wondering what kind of fuel mileage it gets with the 40s
Only about 16-18 on 40s, 21 mpg on 35-36s

@mike-hp9yv that would be fun! Ouch on the price tag though. Wish I had time to do them for people 😟
That thang awesome
Thanks!

Gtb2056 minimum, but honestly if you want to tow in the heat of the summer I would recommend compounds
@@TDISwaps what sizes? i was going to do a gt1852 and hx35

Those Axles are too heavy .
Yes I would have preferred 1/2 ton axles, but I bought it like this, not worth changing now
Awesome
Thanks!
how do you like automatic over manual?

@@TDISwaps does it not have a lock up converter?
that is wicked.
It's a blast
