A lot of British people loved Diana deeply because of the things she done for those less fortunate. She broke all the rules that the royals were supposed to follow and created a new viewpoint about the monarchy to the public. Many people didn’t need to have met her to feel like they knew her, so when she died the public were heartbroken. I suppose he could have known her but there’s a large possibility that he never but was still deeply upset by her passing.
Unfortunately respect for her majesty is getting less and less among young people, they haven't lived long enough to see how tirelessly she's worked for the vast majority of her life in a role she didn't choose and wasn't even born to do, it's only because her Uncle abdicated that her Father became King. She was only ever meant to be a minor royal.

There was something personl there when he said "I really love Diana"...:(
Terrence Stamp probably really did love Diana - they were rumoured to be together in secret for a while
Glad someone finally listed Diana!! I am American, she was the royal we all loved/saw the most of in the 90's with the revenge dress and such.
There is a palpable pain on his face and a very slight tremor in his voice. That moment had weight.
There was something genuinely special about Diana and how she spoke to the people, she wasn't a normal royal, she was a royal for the people, and the people of her generation adored her for it, her death was a true tragedy that still haunts many to this day.
Murdered.

When you realize at least 75% of your favorite actors/actresses are British 😂😍
Shannon Collins You mean English Scottish Welsh or Northern Irish which those actors in this video represent in other words British! ☮️
Yess!!!
I just came to this realization too
Right!!!
I know!!!:) 💕💕
You know it’s understandable when people have trouble with American accents when there’s 50 states most of which have different accents. But when there’s more than 42 accents on a collection of islands barely wider than Nebraska. It really puts things in perspective.
Nebraskans speak different than Kansans, Oklahomans different than Kansans. I’m a Kansan and I know.
Sarcasm, irony and pessimism. Absolutely.
Three words that sum up the British sense of humour perfectly.
@@GiraffeFeatures - ....except that the british do silly better than anyone as well. Thank God. Monte Python marathon anyone? I could use some silly british shenanigans in my life right now.
Absurd. Nobody out sarcasms Americans.

“Pessimism” and that chuckle. Godddd James is so charming.
We didn't get enough of Tom Hiddleston 😭
exactly 😭😭
Disney Plus has plenty of him right now.
@@JnEricsonx No, I disagree... I want seasons 2-7 before Christmas, LOL
I didn't even notice that was Tom until the end 💀
IKR😭😭😭😭
A note on the New York accent - besides being the hardest for Brits to do, if an American actor has that accent, speech coaches that help American actors lose their regional accent, say that it is the hardest one to get rid of..
The funny thing is that for non-native english speakers, like me, is one of the easiest to understand. Northerneast coast accents are easy, in fact.
1:10 "I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and slag off another actor." CLASSY AF Matthew Goode
Jesus Christ why is everybody so attractive in this video
I definitely agree.
Being attractive is kinda the main part of their profession lol
Because brits.
They're literally all in dresses and tuxedos, I'm not sure when they filmed all this but they were all attending formal events looking their best!
They were all in the middle of their Vanity Fair photoshoots, hence the name of the video. These interviews were taken either before or during the shoots
I can never tell when a British is doing an American accent but when Americans does an English accent it's often obvious
Nah I can always tell when a Brit is doing an American accent. It just seems a little off.
Good, they are hoping that everybody is that gullible.
@@anthonyhutchins2300 have u seen the movie rag and bone?
most of them, not all, sound like they're either surfer dudes or nasally because they're holding their breath.
Watch British television shows. They NEVER spring for an American actor when there is a bit part that's supposed to be an American character, and the faux American accents are HORRIBLE!!
Knowing Terence Stamp was friends with Diana makes you understand the way he responds more
James Mcavoy looks so stunning here, he's always stunning but his smile is so pretty!
Bismah I've never thought much of his looks until THIS(!) Dang it! ;)
Bismah He is SO STUNNING!😫😭 I can’t handle it!
He's so gorgeous 😭
He's always be so so sooo charming
True, especially when The Beast was prying the lion's cage bars apart menacingly. Hahaha.

some are irish lol
I bet that would make them feel pretty happy to hear, as they're actors...

That was Gilderoy Lockhart

I feel the same way, I absolutely love the UK
@Beta Squad Clips lmao
@Cosmic The convicts transported to settle Australia used to have English accents, too.
@Voyager Just pointing out that former British colonies all eventually developed a unique accent. My apologies if the comment came across as confrontational or inappropriate.
@Beta Squad Clips nice.
They’re all so charming! Uggggh I love the British accent
Elisa B, I know, right?! I thought the same thing while watching this ❤️
(think i’m speaking for most brits when i say) no actual brit sounds like this unless they push their accent on stronger😂
There is no "the" British accent, there are literally hundreds and hundreds.
There were 2 or 3 Scots accents but the others were English .... there's no such thing as "The British Accent"
*innit innit!*
Love James McAvoy in everything he does.
Not nearly enough Tom Hiddleston.

I barely even caught him

I love the fact that the Scots praise alcoholism and pessimism
I know! haha Loved it!
Scots = Russians?) Yeah
Ofc, they're the only buggers who can survive alcoholism and pessimism!
Pessimism is a way of life in the entirety of the UK, seriously
Wrong, it's cynicism
Who else came back to this video today? It’s the Queen and no one comes close ♥️
"Pippa Middleton"
"isn't she royal"

The accents on SNL are not meant to be spot on. They're meant to be a parody.
They aren't trying to be accurate though and they are making fun.

I know how lovely
you can almost feel him holding back some emotions when he said it.
Lorraine Scott Princess Diana died in a car accident back in 97'.
Why are these people so classy and perfect
"Her majesty the queen"
So beautiful how he respectfully says that. It's almost as like she was in front of him. Loved it!
@@GiraffeFeatures Well, the royal family can bugger off as far as I'm concerned. Unelected load of bollocks.
