This talking point is so boring.
You got your women but still feel the need to spite the ones you don’t like just because they don’t perform to your expectations.
No wonder this community can’t be saved.

I hate when people say Black women are loud. Those are pretense to hide the real reason (Umar Johnson said: self hatred). Because when Latina women are loud and quote and quote crazy, it is labeled spicy and sometimes something to be celebrated. As someone raised in an African culture, I know how European features and light skin were celebrated even in a continent filled with people of dark skinned, there was that search for who look less black. The root of all this, colonialism that mind washed us into "self-hatred".

So, my mom is mixed. She’s never identified with her white side. One of the things I’m trying to very empathic about is mixed people whose emotions are mixed from the positives and negatives of being mixed.
I think my disconnect is since all the people in my life never identified with their white side I don’t understand the yearning for validation and acceptance that some mixed people have. But, I have been trying to be more bendable and observant of my mixed folks internal struggle. I have watched a few episodes and you ladies may be mixed but, your black experience even though it may feel like the lite version giving your upbringing is 110% still valid. Because in more of a white environment you deal with the nuanced/tone death prejudice and racism by being the few in the many.
Anyways, love is gonna love, black white purple blue. I’m black my now wife of 3 years, partner for 7 is black. I would like black folks (including mix folks, whom all I feel are black) to marry and date within culture. I also understand the system. I think there’s strength in the black family a strength that is contagious in the community when we are unify and amplify our voices together to strengthen culture, further our voices, and breakdown stereotypical rhetoric spewed and perpetuated by oppressors and mainstream white America to keep us divided.
I think black men have failed our black and mixed race women by the overwhelming amount of households without the black father in them. Where women has to have live in both energies to raise the household on her lonesome. Also, black women are the only women that get attacked from all sides and some get so beat down from the world just to also not find solace or protection by the men in their culture. Until we do better by our women that number is just going to keep shooting up.

"Black men have failed Black and mixed-race women by the overwhelming number of households without the Black father" - why are BW/mixed-race women producing children with men who do NOT want marriage or fatherhood? How are women not to blame for this problem by virtue of choosing to reproduce with deadbeat men?!

Kudos to you for respectfully dealing with the comments. I watch TH-cam but do not have any social media because of the negativity. You ladies are young, but unfortunately, there is a huge platform for "men" to continue to spew their hate of black women painting us all with the same brush. I understand they may have had negative dealings with some black/mixed/multiracial women, but there are some of us who are feminine, modest, articulate, and lead conservative/religious lifestyles. I find it interesting that these same "men" who don't like these type of women go out of their way to also criticize women who are the complete opposite. I don't entertain any of this because we have to be cautious about what we bring into our homes. Much love, and keep doing what you're doing ❤❤❤.

I found your channel viewing the interracial marriage short yesterday and love your content thus far...yes I'm biased since my daughters (21 & 19y/o) are also biracial. I thought the short was funny (as in entertaining) and immediately sent your intro video to my daughters. Since we're not on the best of talking terms (we'll get there...I'm patient), I'm watching as a black father of biracial daughters trying to get more educated on what they are facing. Hopefully after viewing more, I can be that much more informed when our conversations open up more.
I'm looking forward to viewing more of your content and keep it coming!

Greatly enjoyed this response video, ladies. I definitely recommend more of these, as your base continues to grow, and such questions continued to be asked, it will be wonderful to hear your responses to equally complex issues. As with others who commented, I greatly appreciate your explanation of the basic arithmetic behind your statistical citation. Many of those with a problem wanted to find a problem, so they ignored, literally, elementary calculations. So, you handled that just as well, with the grace of a clear and simple explanation. That aside, your inquisitive, intellectual, and objective insights on such a layered topic were well delivered and extremely powerful. Each one of you brings something special to the table, and please do not stop. Just as well, letting each other fully answer questions without interruption will also be enjoyable so we can truly understand your individual points of view, and how they fit in to your collective vision. You are on to something special. Upward and onward to 100,000 subscribers.

Hey Dave, nice seeing you here. Camile may just be more laid back and/or less expressive? We cannot assume anyone's state of mind just from facial expressions. It seems a very American thing that if one is not smiling ear-to-ear, then something is wrong. 🙃

I did not see your interracial podcast, however I believe people should follow their hearts and minds and choose a mate who makes them happy. Who am I to judge? I also think people who choose not to date outside of their race should not be judged. Further, your experience as light-skinned mixed-race black girl is different from a light-skinned black girl who has a two black parents, not just a dark complected black girl. It is always interesting to hear the voices of our youth, keep talking!

Honestly the way the short video cut off made it sound like she was attacking him for having a preference. In the longer video where you could hear her whole explanation it came off very differently, more like she was just asking why he feels that way which was far more appropriate. So I think a lot of the comments, mine included, wouldn't have been as negative could we have heard her whole description of the interaction.

that study was back in 2010. i thinknit was 42% of new marriages are interracial. i couldnt imagine that stat 14yrs later. i expect it to be upward of 70% nowadays

TH-cam recommended y'all yesterday, It's very interesting to see. binged a few videos since. Immediately seen some of the comments, disagree with most if not all of them. Your story is your story and you offer a unique perspective. I do have questions though.
In my religion, we have a word called the "Doon-yah", which is the world, outside of the Mosque and brotherhood. How do y'all navigate in this world as "Pious women" In 2024, especially ones who are sort of Lit and not 'squares'. for instance, you know who sexxy redd is, what is your perceptions of that and other media that's shown on TV/TH-cam with violence and such. do you abstain from it or look at it like.. "That's them", and do you have dietary restrictions based on faith? do y'all listen to rap? if so, who do y'all like and why does it resonate with you?.
