Both her and Lindsey Field (no relation) have supported John for many many years. John has a very spiritual side. Love how moved you were...you were not alone I promise you.
Probably the last time John decided to let his stylist put him in a silk shirt under those stage lights !! Saw this concert live - they were all outstanding as they always were/are - I hope against hope that John does one more tour, I missed him the last time he came to the West coast of Oz - even though it was a show in a vineyard and not in an arena it would still have been an awesome night. Some of John's more intimate settings are actually better than the big ones.
There are so many comments so please excuse me if I am repeating something already said however, the power of those voices! Just look at how far back they are from the mic. Thank you Micky for your real reactions :-)

We all ugly cry with songs like this matey. Don’t be embarrassed to have heart and soul ❤️
This is what GOOD music will do to you. It strips your soul bare and exposes it to glorious light. Do NOT apologize. John and his band do another great acapella: Stevie Wonder's wonderful song "Love's In Need". And, yes, even the drummer can sing! (LOL! Sorry Gus!) oh ,beautiful..
celebrate that you have a heart that can feel .not everybody is so fortunate . also don't fret, be of good cheer because i was lead to pray for you.
this is what i'm getting after praying for you.
believe in yourself and your worth and giftings and get the anger out and resolved.you've been pushed back a lot .time to take a stand and come forth. a little wobbly at first then in confidence.because you humbled yourself in authenticity ,you have just tripped the switch of grace. "he who humbles himself [being authentic and acknowledging things as they really are/no bullshit(takes courage )] will be exalted.
Vendetta Fields was his back-up singer for several years and I believe her bio is interesting. Lindsey Field has been with him all the way.
Very happy to be a new subscriber :)
This is why we enjoy your reactions so much mate , you ARE real . Love it .
🌬️Your great Mike. Doing a good job with the reactions... I must say, I am loving John Farnham. But then again I am biased. From Melb🇦🇺❤️💞
A little background on his backing singers. He basically has always used Lisa Edwards, Lindsay Field and Venetta Fields (no relation).
Ms Venetta Fields is a living legend. She sang on Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, The Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street, with Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Joe Cocker, Bob Seger.. Just to name a few.
She is also a highly acclaimed and awarded Gospel singer, Gospel is her main love.
This is just amazing, start to finish..
Venetta Lee Fields is an American-born singer, musical theater actress and vocal coach. She was a backing vocalist for American and British rock and pop acts of the 1960s and 1970s, including Ike & Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, Humble Pie, Barbra Streisand, Elkie Brooks, Neil Diamond, Steely Dan, and the Rolling Stones.
She was an Ikette with Tina and Ike Turner.
In 2002, Fields received the Australian Gospel Singer of the Year award.
In recognition of her achievements, Fields was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame on September 29, 2005.
I MUST post her discography here so everyone knows how simply mind-blowing her contribution to modern music is.. I hope you dont mind...

John Farhan ALWAYS!!! 🇦🇺
That'll be Johnny.
And that's without in ear monitors for reference for staying on pitch.
And let's not forget, three people standing nearly a foot away from the microphone! Unreal talent on stage! SUPERB!
Yes always hits me like it hit you mate don't be embarrassed. It is do powerful.
Friends of many years will often not react to music we play for them in any way like we thought they would. And here you are reacting like we do ourselves. Well, well, well. May I offer a suggestion? From a contemporary of Mr Farnham. Mr Jeff Duff. Also a very versatile and powerful and touching singer/songwriter. You might like to hear what he does with the Beatles' Yesterday. I've not seen anyone react to it. But it can leave you lost for words. Fare well for now
dont apologise and dont be embarrassed..but whatchya have to go and play that one for...beautiful song and beautiful reaction
