  • In Iran, there has been no let-up in the anti-government protests that have been sweeping the country. The unrest was triggered by death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who died last month in the custody of the country's so-called morality police. She was arrested for allegedly violating Iran's strict Islamic dress code. Her death has drawn international condemnation and demonstrations of solidarity - including by female celebrities and politicians who cut off locks of their hair in a symbolic act.

Politicised Religion is really the main issue.
I dont know man, seems like most people following their faith.
And if the Laws are Sharia orientated, the Leaders will get away with a lot of bloodshed in the name of Allah.
But i still hope that something chances for the better. ✌

Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier. Gender equality is a human right. 6:19
Unequal societies are less cohesive. They have higher rates of anti-social behaviour and violence. Countries with greater gender equality are more connected. Their people are healthier and have better wellbeing.

The International Human Rights Law is very clear when it says that it is all nations’ duty to ensure security, freedom and quality of life for its population, without exception. After all, if the mission of 2030 Agenda is to secure a more prosperous, fair and sustainable world, this will only be achieved when the social, economic and political barriers that prevent the full exercise of people are eliminated.
