Nice video, easily earned a sub and a like! I'm glad to see this getting recommended to people - I've got this in my recommended feed several times now. I do have some suggestions for improvement though (I'm also a KSP cinematic creator): To get rid of some stuttery/low FPS shots, you can use FFmpeg duplicate frame decimation to get rid of duplicated frames in your base footage. You can also use the mod "Time Control" to slow down the game in order to get a slower (physics-wise) video, which you can then decimate and speed up to get at or greater than 60 FPS end footage. This can help with inherently stuttery events, like fairing separation and staging. I also really like the shots you got using Camera Tools, I'd suggest using it more often - it really makes a big difference.
I never play RSS/RO, but I like the whole mod because of what it does, and it's nice to see people making whole cinematics off of a journey to just one planet. Love the content, keep it up!

Awesome mission! really nice and cinematic too. What engine is that on the lander/ascent stage? i'm struggling to figure out what could have enough D/v even for most of the way to orbit, what with the thick Venus atmosphere.
The rss folder didn't download properly and mars and venus's lower atmospheres didn't really have any of the pressure or anything and there was a bit of fuel clipped in for extra

as I have stated in many replies and my pineed comment, my rss install didnt install correctly so the atmospheres didnt work that well, and I clipped in a lot of fuel
I wish there was a way to get RSS textures and it's visual enhancements without the planets being scaled up, because when I install the realisim overhaul, it breaks all my saved spacecraft :(
I moved the entire mothership to a temporary suborbital orbit, the lander almost made it, pe was only a bit in the atmosphere so we had time I'll be honest the video is a bit shambles. One day I might do it no glitches, non broken repair, I might even take the video down.

On the lander, did you see that decoupled for the capsule? That was the whole service module, I had to do some clipping and I only got suborbital, all in all about 6000 m/s, that’s also why I had to do the docking suborbital, with the mothership slowing down, also all the crew cabins were just full of hydrogen
@@synthicalmix most of ksp videos have specific kind of funky muzic any muzic theorist can know the name of, but this muzic has diferent notes and stuff
Ksrss in my opinion is far better than RSS and RP-1. My reason is that Ksrss still feels kerbalish and not too hard. Rp-1 feels like a chore, you have to check for everything radiation, life support, and enough fuel. And the fact that in both RSS and Rp-1 You need 8k to get into orbit because everything IS REAL SCALE! I mean like kerbal space program was supposed to be fun! Not to mention that the radiation basically makes it impossible for manned missions to mars for example. And RSS you have to build skyscraper-tall Rockets to get things into orbit and then you have to worry if there is too much weight and it's just annoying. To all the people who play Rp-1 And RSS, Good job you are an absolute legend and I support you. Ksrss still gives the kerbal experience but gives a more realistic touch to a game we love.
have you actually tried RSS/RO/rp1, cause 8k isn't a lot of fuel, its all scaled up remember?, that includes the parts and the engines. I mean I respect your opinion, you have some good points, but also you don't have to play with Kerbalism, I don't, and the solar storms barely do anything if you have shielding I have played KSRSS and it felt just like stock, it was boring for me, but if you play it because you enjoy the normal kerbal experience, then that is valid, and you can play how you like

PRVE, scatterer. Normally I would use rssve, but I used prve because it looks cooler, albiet a littlelaggier
How much delta v does that lander have? Wouldn’t a rocket need more dv to get off of venus’s surface than from earth’s surface?
