    Both - Rubber hoses for long hoses, flex hoses for everything else.

    what is the name of the tool to use for ScubaPro-like hoses? I can't see any tools in your shop...

    I am a rubber hose guy. I like the braided hose Idea, great concept. the only problem I see with it is, they have no weight and if you should loose control of your second stage for what ever reason, you may find it floating somewhere above you instead of resting at your side where it should be.

      Except your 2nd is likely very negative and will sink regardless?

      That is definitely different than my experience. I had a octo keep coming loose on my diving trips and it just hung down. It was on a 36" braided hose.

      Your 2nd stage would have to weigh practically nothing for it to float. The weight of your 2nd stage would make it sink imo

      Yes, there are o-rings between every connection where water intrusion is going to be a problem.

    I like to use braided hoses, due color and travel.
