- AD Mitchell can do some very interesting things on the football field. He's an interesting young man with tools and confidence in deploying them.
I wanted Ballard to move up to take him - and he was actually able to move back six spots. - กีฬา
He didn't fall for their bait questions. Well done young man
This dude is focused and ready to roll. I’m getting good vibes here. GO COLTS !!!
dude, I love the way he ended that interview... got me hyped up doing dishes in my kitchen. lol
The Colts picking him at 52 while adding picks is draft mastery.
that doesn't mean they didn't want someone else. You take who is still available on the board. Unless Ballard comes clean, we'll never know.

Love it. Great focus and attitude to attack the task at hand. Let’s go!!!
I love this pick and the trade back!! Excellent job Ballard please disregard the hate mail I sent yesterday
😂😂😂😂😂 I think everyone sent some hate mail to Ballard LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
@@RobbyBond-jv8erI'm guilty 😂😂😂
Lmao who ain't lol
he got that FIIIREEEEE in him!!! DAWGGGGG
Good pick. I like that he’s pissed off
😂
You can thank his parents for his work ethic. This is why everyone needs a mom and a dad raising them. GOD Bless
Welcome to Indy AD let's get it!
THIS AIN’T NO HOBBY !!! GO COLTS !!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this kid, Kent. Love his attitude. Love his moxy. Love that he doesn’t say anything negative (I know he’s coached. But still. He’s coachable obviously). I’m excited, Kent. Way pumped.
He pissed because he thought he would go sooner, nothing to do with not wanting to be with the Colts he just don’t want to say the wrong thing 🫡 That’s a good chip to have on his shoulder! Let’s go 💪🏾
AB is going to be a Star!
Arguably my favorite receiver in the draft - absolutely stunning that he was there at 52…
Thier all good receivers, some is just gonna cost more which will help us out for sure.id hate to be writing Harrison‘s checks. I think we got the better end of the deal, plus the Giants aren’t going anywhere anyways with Harrison with or without him.
Stunning? or Draft Brilliance by the fan-favorite guy to hate on? Looking forward to hear you call them out :)
Mr Kent,it seemed like they kept asking bait questions sir ..im proud to have this kid
bro mad as hell
He thought he was going 1st round
He got that dawg in him
he sounds like a #1 Wr Pittman #2 lol
Boy gonna burn some corners he really really salty an in a great way you go AD congrats 🎉 💯 percent under rated WR . And now A R an A.D are together go Colts Nation lets go
Been happy with Ballard's last 2 drafts.
I Love you Cousin. Like I said to you and your Parents last night. Your already Great go show them.
Make'em pay AD, go get'em!!!!!!
Chef Ballard is cooking 🔥
Young Kobe Bryant vibes here.
This is not a Chris Ballard personality at all 😂 I can see why other teams were turned off by their meetings with him (which is why I assume he fell) but I kind of like it. Shane Steichen definitely influenced this pick. He’s mad, and wants to prove himself. He’s different than what Indy is used to and I like him more.
Same I love it. Not your prototypical Ballard personality. You need guys like this in the locker room. The best receivers to ever play the game don’t have the personality that Ballard looks for.
You need some guys that have that fire in them. Ballard seeing someone being intense is like Frank Reich hearing someone cursing. They don't like it, but they need to wake up a little to accepting a different player that will still contribute a lot.
I love this kid. He's all business. "Ready to work" He's got a chip on his shoulder. Him and Michael Pittman are going to be a dynamic duo. With Josh Downs in the slot. Yikes! Not to mention the backfield.
Fist comment baby lets go COLTS!!!!
Indy got a duamond.
🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
He must have gotten stiffed by a few other teams.Telling him they would take him sooner and did not
He thought he was going round 1
DAWG
AD left the Lakers and decided to try football 😅
Not sure I’m feeling this attitude. I get being disappointed, but when he was drafted, he didn’t even look happy that we selected him.
It sucks because I was extremely hyped that we selected him. Hopefully he cheers up and gears up to wear that horseshoe proudly.
He was acting like it wasn’t the “falling in the draft” thing, but it clearly was imo
We got the same reaction out of MPJ a few years back. Once he becomes part of the family he won't wanna play anywhere else
He just focused that's all he happy it's NFL only 32 teams he right it's a job he stays focused he will be a great player maybe Hall of Fame Kids got game played in 2 different style offensive an balled every time fast hands are glue stole him go Colts Nation
Fully understand what you are saying. It was not what you would expect to come across on first impression. However, the man was sabotaged by that dumbass James Boyd and his inability to formulate proper questions without making the interviewee defensive.
We need to give him a second chance on this first impression.

He's pissed because he thinks that he was the best receiver in the draft and thought he was better than the 52nd pick. I get that, and he's probably right. Now let's go prove it.
There is a COLT WAY. He is not it. But he can go 140 mph, and that's what the Colts need.
He says it's all a business. Much of that is true. Waving goodbye to you will be strictly business, too.
Colt way hasn't won a division title.... I'd rather have the talent
Fuck the Colts way. I’m sick of that no winning BS. THE BEST RECEIVERS TO EVER PLAY THE GAME MOSTLY DONT HAVE THAT BOY SCOUT BS. THIS IS FOOTBALL NOT THE BOY SCOUTS.
@@dantelabella9753 you clearly have a bad take on history.
I dont think this guy is going to be a choir boy
I don’t get why he is angry then? Hope he doesn’t turn into a diva, he has too much potential. I do like some of his answers though
The best WRs are divas. I’d much rather have the best WR than not.
He clearly doesn't want to play for the Colts.
@@MrDernagon Did you hear him say he didn't want to play for the Colts? He knows he is JUST as good if not BETTER than guys taken before him. He has the production at TWO big time programs(Georgia and Texas) to prove it.
@@michaeljones6413 this is true, he is better than at least 5 of those guys taken. Yet they were taken first. There must be something more to it than just ability. Perhaps not having a shitty attitude would have prevented his 30 selection slide.
@@basilfawlty241 That's a very valid point and as you stated this may be the root of his problems
Ugh, Boyd is just so terrible at this! Who let him start the questions? He set the whole tone of this interview trying to direct the direction of the answer and forcing yet someone else to balk at a term James chooses for him to use.
Someone take that child's credentials and throw them in the damn reservoir. Talk about 'Walmart players'... this guy is abandoned Dollar Tree level. Doyle's creepiness is less cringeworthy than Boyd. 'What emotions are you feeling, and explain why gratitude is the correct answer'
Spot on Kent. Kinda hard, rather confusing, when that idiot is allowed to open questions to welcome a new player to the city.
He's pissed because he's a wide receiver.
Hes pissed because Ballard didn’t get MHJR and now he has to fill that void and has a guilty conscious
I’m not being negative, but with what Houston has done in free agency already, and adding more in the draft, the colts better have a hell of a game plan to beat this team or thier gonna own our ass! The jaguars already do. Tennessee is close.
So the colts better load up!!
Believe in your school.
@@carritelearn your facts!
He IS pissed because he wasn't picked sooner. I don't get why he has to lie. Liars are already a problem. I hope he doesn't become a diva receiver
Im not feeling him for the Colts...his energy is not exciting its like he wants to be somewhere else ijs i hope he don't bring negativity to the Colts my favorite is Josh Downs anyway
I don’t get fooled on draft days no more ,I want results and that’s from opening game until the last game of the season, draft is the same BS ,can’t believe this player was available,17 games later ..no playoffs ,no division title ,bad defense ,middle of the pack offense ,results don’t lie !!!!
Find a new team
I am sick and tired of this “high character” narrative. Where the F did this come from? This ain’t the Boy Scouts, this is FOOTBALL.
Mitchell makes no sense. Pickens ability, Pickens attitude?
Why is he pissed then, if not for wanting to be picked higher? I’m ngl, I don’t like that. Ur pissed about being drafted by the colts? With that being said dude is a DOG and I KNOW AR5 gonna find him DEEP alllll year next year!! Lesgoo
If you were a top 5-7 player at your position but chosen 11th, would you be happy? No, you’d have a chip on your shoulder, regardless of who you were drafted by.
I think he’s mad Xavier got picked before him maybe idk
@@scoobydoo4242 The only guys who truly deserved to go before him are the 3 guys who went in the top 10.
@@frontrowatthefight2531 He got drafted precisely where he deserved to go. Having a shitty attitude will do that for ya. Earlier I heard that he was sliding because he becomes a bit of an ass when his blood sugar level is out of wack (apparently he is diabetic) And, perhaps it was with this interview. Or, perhaps he was just put on the defensive by that dumbass James Boyd and his terrible question
@@frontrowatthefight2531 That might normally be true, but he clearly said NO multiple times when asked if his draft position was the issue. So if it wasn't that then what does that leave? The team that picked him.
Holy smokes he’s a Reggie clone!! Similar dialect. Similar chip on his shoulder.
My thoughts exactly
"pissed"? I dont like that at all.
sorry this guy doesnt seem to add up character wise. maybe im wrong and hope to be.
He wanted to be picked in the 1st. He'll be fine.
I just read that he’s type 1 diabetic which can cause mood swings. Hopefully the team nutritionist can help his diabetes with proper diet. BTW, I love his southern accent!
i'm glad he was pissed. He already said he's pissed, then a reporter says "Are you mad that so many receivers were taken before you?" what a stupid question, very irritating. PISSED=CHIP , Big Fella gunna grind. Reporters, quit asking stupid questions
@@dabneyoffermein595I definitely agree that these were some of the stupidest questions ever and he did a good job not going off on these morons
I can't understand the media
Praise Latu with a iffy neck
Blast Mitchell because of type one diabetes
Someone help the media make sense
I'm being serious I need help with this one
Glad to help. The first thing is to stop the bullshit.
Nobody has blasted him for Diabetes. If I have missed that, please send links. I will gladly apologize for the previous statement. I have heard some suggest he's a bit of an asshole, in there around about pc way.
Latu has an iffy neck based on your opinion. His having neck surgery would be factual. His initial team doctor revoking his medical clearance would be factual. Your opinion is not. What was he praised for? His on-field play? Seems like they both have received praise for on-field achievements. Perhaps some have praised his post-selection demeanor? I haven't heard anything like that but would concede to you that it's possible if you claim it has. Is that a problem? Is that praise for the person or the temperament and behavior?
You asked for serious help on it. So let's recap.
First, your initial outlook is flawed. If you want to consider Latu a medical risk because of a repaired neck, perhaps Mitchell should be as well.
Second, because of your biased outlook, you are misjudging the reactions of others. I have heard some suggest they don't like the 'risk' Latu has because of his neck. How is that concern any different than, Mitchell is kinda an asshole? It's not different, it's the same.
Third, liability is a big deal to the NFL. He's been cleared to play, just accept it. His injury has been 'fixed'. Individual teams would not risk millions in salary, and the league would not risk a lawsuit were something bad to happen to someone without medical clearance.
If Mitchell's 'asshole' tendencies are caused entirely because of his diabetic condition. It does not sound like that condition has been 'fixed'. Is it not unreasonable for someone to be concerned with an 'unfixed' condition over one that had been 'fixed' some two years ago? All of these guys are fantastic athletes and as such are very conscious of maintaining their bodies as that is a requirement for their employment. Why would Mitchell not 'prepare' himself for his interviews in the same manner in which he would for the physical events at the combine? This is apparently not a new 'symptom' as the reports say it goes back to Georgia.
Are you only concerned that the fans may be offended? What about a ref after a bad call? If it is something he can not control, why would that not be a legitimate concern?
Finally, everyone reacts to hardships differently. Why is it a valid excuse to excuse or dismiss behavior? Just using your example. who do you think had the more impactful medical situation? The diabetic, or the neck injury forcing retirement? Do you think Latu would have still been drafted in the position he was if he had a shitty attitude in reference to that? Some asshole doctor more concerned about his liability insurance than his patient's well-being cost him 2 years' worth of play...
The media sucks.... but this is not a media problem.
@@basilfawlty241 A De with one neck surgery and retired before even getting out of college is a medical liability..
Many Gms and Teams didn't even have them on their draft boards.
Are they just arm chair to?
Now I meant a misunderstanding of THE MEDIA, Randy Moss had character issues along with alot of other wide receivers and it wasn't a problem as long as they keep putting numbers up
