- Drawing two cards in Yu-Gi-Oh is one of the best affects the card can have, and that's why a lot of the best draw two cards have very heavy downsides or restrictions to them, in order to balance that out. And in this list will go over cards with the absolute worst downsides and restrictions in order to draw those two cards.

Pot of Greed is the worst draw two. Every time I activate it I get disqualified.

Yep any deck running Wetlands (specificly Paleozoics) could run it as well. Goblin King, Chaos Necromancer, and Deskbots also come to mind.

5:30 Fun fact: the anime version of this card is actually pretty decent, you just need to have two or more "Blackwing" monsters on the field in order to draw 2 cards, no need to tribute, banish or being specific tuner Blackwing monsters
Elemental Hero Bubbleman. You have to have an empty field, and the card has to be the only card in your hand, to draw 2 cards when summoned.

Yeah but it's a water hero monster you can special summon it if it's the last card in your hand and that is always neat
I've never drawn with Bubbleman and I've tried since it was first released. That draw 2 is why I even started playing HERO decks.
The special summon is the only reason I bothered with the card for a while, but then better options came out and now if I use Bubbleman, then it is solely because I felt like running an anime Jaden/Judai deck for the fun of it.
Bubbleman is a bit of an odd case. It has one of the worst draw 2 effects, but as a card itself it was kinda decent a few years ago. You could just set all the spell cards from your hand to empty it out and get an easy bubbleman for a free level 4 water hero, which you could then use for xyz plays or mask change. So yeah it's one of the worst draw 2 effects, but that effect is on a somewhat decent card, so at least it's not one of the worst cards that can draw you 2 cards.
Greedo Grado reminds me of the Meklords
They're designed specifically against Synchros,yet are terrible at their job against them

I mean, Meklords weren't too bad back when Synchros and Fusions were the only ED monsters. Not competitive, but kinda like what PSY-Frame is now, a deck that relied on your opponent's deck/plays, but it was pretty good because chances are your opponent would be making those plays.
I remember using Gold Moon Coin in a fun meme suicide deck ounce. The decks goal was to put all the pieces of Exodia in your opponents had for some lulz.
Says there's only those three strategies to get Pride of the Weak's effect off.
Card artwork literally shows a Level 1 monster who can easily get incredibly high attack.
Also, he missed Dustons, Deskbots(?), Frogs, Ice Barriers, and probably several others
But can they destroy monsters by battle 🤔 (Also emptied the hand?)
If you somehow get a Meklord Emperor on the field, those things can easily beat up anything under level 4.

Worst is definitely Pot of Desires, you have to banish 10 cards from the top your deck so it's a neg 9.

I'm waiting for Saber support, but I agree full heartily. Volcanic is a fun deck, but Pyro monsters as a whole have next to no support. Heck. I think that it is the only type to not have a support field spell.
there was a card in the anime called "Pendulum Card Burst", where you destroy two face up Pendulum monsters to draw two cards, which is genuinely pretty good considering how easy it is to get two pendulum monsters on the field, and they also go to the extra deck allowing for more pendulum summoning.
"Guardred Treasure" Sounds like a werid but cool gimmick way for Pure Danger! Decks to draw to cards while triggering their effects

Blackboost is actually one of the strongest draw cards in the anime, as well as Cards for Black Feathers.
In the anime, you discard one card for Cards of Black Feather’s activation cost, then you draw two cards.
In the anime, black boots just requires you to control 2 Blackwing monsters for the activation condition, then you draw two.

2, use machine duplication to summon 2more from the deck
3, use the effects of the 3Ally Soldiers you control to have them send themself to the graveyard and draw 6cards going +4

Guarded Treasure can be amazing in an Exodia Deck, especially coupled with three Heart of the Underdog. By filling your deck with tons of Normal monsters, you'll often find yourself with a dozen cards in your hand at the start of each of your turns.
It can be useful but with pendulum and link cards your opponent still gets more options at their disposal. There is also a better selection of draw spells out there, especially if you are going pure exodia and not using much of the extra deck.
I could see it working well with Forced Requisition too. You'd force your opponent to discard 5 cards as well and they don't get to draw giving you immediate advantage
But in those decks you typically want to run only heart of the underdog and normal pendulum monsters. The more chances you have to hit a non normal monster the worse the strategy is.
Any card that can be amazing in an exodia deck I see as as an absolute loss

That synchro monster can ftk your opponent if your opponent has the right light monsters in their hand, which you can give to them.
Read the effect of the card first.
I know what the card does, but you say "cards you don't want in your hand" and drop that synchro on the screen without explaining that "combo with the right light monster".
He does this sometimes... XD... showing cards without explanation because we are supposed to know all the context... I know is a lot of trouble to explain everything but a good amount of people watch videos to learn... Please try to explain the things you show on the video, that's all...

Gold Moon Coin sounds like it can be really fun to use. I'd love to give Localized Tornado just to see the look on someone's face when they read it and realize I actually put it in my deck.
It's one of those cards that, along with Cup of Ace, I like to give characters whose decks are supposed to be made up of thrown away cards. Like Yusei's only more believable as I don't give them Synchros requiring specific tuners and said tuners and instead just meh generic ones. Just the idea of them activating it, the opponent seeing the cards and thinking "kid, can you even afford food" is both amusing and sad.
Shame I never bother to get past the earliest of design stages with them despite knowing fully well where I would take a story with them.
skull servants could actually technically use the #7 card, king of the skull servants can get a ton of attack

No mention of Red Dragon Vase? That card is pretty awful even in dedicated Red Dragon Archfiend decks.
Ultima at least it is a plus 1 and is less specific unlike the other cards on the list

Only real use of Greed Grado would be in the Synchro event coming up in Master Duel, which I doubt most people would be running anyways

My favorite terrible draw 2 card is “D/D Pandora”
She’s a monster with the effect to let you draw 2 cards when destroyed by the opponent, provided you control no other cards.
The first problem is that she’s level 5... meaning there’s no way to get her onto the field turn 1 save pendulum summon... but if you pendulum summon her, then you have scales on the field, so unless you bounce or destroy them immediately afterward, you won’t get her effect.
It’s just such an amazingly terrible card design that I can’t help but love it.
Can we just admit guarded treasure is one of the most broken ones on this list, you get 4 cards you want in your GY and you can spam the effects like crazy

The Guarded Treasure card looks like it can work on a Salamangreat deck, as it could help the player bring the monsters sent to the graveyard by the use of their own effects (foxy by destroying a spell or trap the opponent controls, spinny when theres a salamangreat on the field aside itself, foxer by special summoning itself after foxys effect, jack jaguars shuffle effect)
The video is great, as usual. And the list is very well put together. But I have to admit I'm suprised "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" didn't make it into the list, considering its restrictions.

Regarding Pride of the Weak, my favourite deck back in the day was my Wetlands deck. It was SO easy to get a beatstick with a Wetlands set-up and many fell prey to my deck.
The first time I play it though. If used in succession not really that great
as for the level 2 or lower beatdown: frogs and skull servant came into my mind as pretty good strategies especially skull servant
also I could see guarded treasure be played in an infernity deck. those decks want their hand empty and got a lot of good graveyard effects or cards that can revive/use other cards from your graveyard while your hand is empty. You basically set up your graveyard, can most likely get rid of / use the 2 cards you just drew and are guaranteed to draw 2 cards every turn. In my opinion it sounds pretty good, I have been playing infernity for some time, but this would need some testing. It doesnt sound as bad as it seems at first glance

I'd like to see a Top 10 worst or best Blackwing cards.
The hard part is that there are like 40 equally bad cards and 14 good ones.
Worst Card period for BW is easily, Blackwing Aurora the Northern lights. A Level 10 maindeck monster, that has an incomprehensibly bad effect and is a LIGHT monster of all things. Best card is a tie between Gale the whirlwind or Black whirlwind itself.

Please consider make a top of number of cards that an archtype has.
For example, Blue-Eyes has a lot of cards in its archetype; but I don't know how many cards are in other archtypes "chess archfield, cyber-angel, skull servant, red eyes black dragon, etc".

If it were Quick-Play, Gold Moon Coin could be a good counter to Infernity Monsters, who's effects are usually only able to be used if the user has no cards in their hand
I wanna ask your opinion on another card in the blackwing archetype, more specifically cards that have a similar effect to "Delta Crow- Anti Reverse". How viable would u say traps that can act like a quick play spell card if certain activation requirements are met?

Guarded treasure should not have been a continuous spell card but rather a normal spell card that applies the effect of drawing 2 cards for your normal draw for the rest of the duel

It seems like the effect is meant to interupt your opponents disruption so that you can mitigate the loss of your tuner monsters. Hence it being a trap.
Basically it turns a -2 situation into a -1 situation.
It's still bad obviously since it's better to utilize those cards but still slightly better than what they were made out to be

That bit is actually one of the few times TH-cam is doing shit properly, it doesn't count a view as a view until you watch enough of a video. On a video that was about one minute old (as it was when you posted your comment) there was literally not enough time to have watched enough of the video to count as "a view", whereas you can hit the like button at any time.

Also did some testing if you use a primarily monster heavy deck, and run guarded treasure with pot of avarice, and you just so happen to go 2nd draw guarded treasure on a hand full of monsters, then draw pot from guarded treasures effect, then pot of avarice all of those monster you can effectively go neg 1
2;28 Electric Snake was a decent side-deck option in late 2002 till early 2003. It got outclassed in early 2003 and never saw any serious play beyond some mild experimentation.
I honestly think that Gold Moon Coin can work in certain decks, such as Timelord decks, that rely on getting through their deck ASAP to draw cards that they need (in the case of Timelords, Empty Machine) and won't mind their opponent having some of their cards (in the case of Timelords, the TImelords are good when the decks is built to accomodate them. If you give your opponent a Timelord, it might not be very good for them).
Pride of the weak is also used sometimes in odd eyes decks where you empty your hand while pendulum summoning and then use it while you have p.odd eyes synchron to change the level of an odd eyes monster to 1
Wait, you have to pick 2 different spell/trap zones with Mystical Cards of Light to be locked out of, you can't pick the same locked zone twice? Would it be overpowered if it didn't lock any zones at all, just required two copies to be active?
I'm wondering how rulings on Gold Moon Coin work. Like... what if I used that to give my opponent a Despair from the Dark, then activated a card that makes them discard, causing it to be discarded to my Graveyard. Would I be able to summon Despair from the Dark since from the perspective of the hand- it was an opponent's effect that sent it, or would I not get to since from the perspective of the Grave- it was my own effect?
Gold Moon Coin seems very useful for Exodia suicide decks. You can give your opponent two pieces while going pseudo +1. Then the remaining 3 pieces can be Exchanged across for game. The only problem is the requirement to draw 2, so you can't use this if it's on the bottom of your deck. Daigusto Emeral can salvage the situation, but you'd essentially need a Broww engine to have enough monsters in the grave, and that might be a bit too clumsy.
Goblin king would work very well with pride of the weak, especially if you summon fiend tokens to boost his attack or better yet regular tokens and use DNA Surgery to change all face up monsters including tokens to fiend type.
Randomly coming across this channel 2 months ago lead me to buying ds & psp games and just getting the switch game. Not played for 14 years so new formats was a surprise.

@@bayonetwork77 it is pc and it is free, and always has the newest cards even before they are released. it is really likeweight so any pc should be able to run it comfortably.

For guarded treasure, it could be a interesting spice card if you play a going second pure danger deck

Ragweed seems actually pretty good in Generaids, considering they don't use their normal summon, and you can make your opponent draw cards to activate its effect. thanks for showing me this synergy.

I'm personally a big fan of guarded treasure. In legacy of the duelist I use it in exodia decks and slifer the sky dragon.
I feel like guarded treasure is even worse nowadays since its discard 5 is a cost, which means if it gets an ash blossom which I see in every deck I've faced off against you will just have an empty hand and would be way more of an oof than desires being negated 😂
