Brilliant interview. Somehow the interviewer managed to get some very good substantive information out of a man that’s very enigmatic. The best interview I’ve heard with Maynard. My ear perked up about the whole stage performance and dressing up because I’ve always wanted to ask him about that but would’ve taken it further and asked why he changes his archetype for every band and every tour

@@someonewhoisntmepodcast I truly LOVE your style of interviewing man, you're extremely talented. Just subscribed on Spotify. How you managed to get that much gold from MJK... wow. Thanks!

How this is not getting more views is beyond me. Great interview. You are genuine / authentic - and Maynard I believe can immediately detect and respect that.

So few views. Great interview. It should blow up a little bit. I saw this show in Tulsa. It was absolutely amazing.

Thanks glad you enjoyed it. I’ve only just added everything to YT. It’s been on pod platforms and Spotify since I released it a few years ago, but after a couple of episodes were ripped by people and uploaded, I thought it best to upload them myself.

I've got mixed feelings about Maynard now in life, but he always has something to say.
33:50 The type of dance/performance art that inspired Maynard during the smooth blue paint/drag era was a type of Japanese dance called "Butoh". Or at least that's my guess.

Good conversation but not new ( 7-8 years ago).
Maynard’s voice is like no other, even just talking.

July 2016 is when this episode originally went on all podcast platforms. I only just put all episodes onto TH-cam very recently.
