Thank you guys so much for fulfilling a childhood dream and reviewing one of my products on this show. I can't wait to show you what's next.
thanks guys, your show is really my favorite magic review show out there! 👍
Thank you
Please add chapter markers in these videos. It would be helpful to jump between the different products. Thanks
Great review guys. Love your show
Slipstream looks incredible.....
Good episode 👍👍 guys
I am loving the heck out of your shirt, David. Spill the beans on where you got it! If I can afford it, I need it 😁
Ahh thanks. It’s Burberry. DP
Yea nice shirt, I prefer Burberry over Gucci
Ink blot? Lol. I think you missed the whole point.
I'd really enjoy the belly button misdirection technic, I might try it out at my next gig. 😂
didn't see the close up camera, ended not understanding the kickstarter tricks
Slipstream is fantastic! Lots of great variations
Not sure if Ozone is the same, but I like Aerostatic by Rich Flo & Dan Harlan as a bridging effect for needle thru balloon.
Yes it’s the same method. Ozone is worse tho, your balloon doesn’t act like a balloon with its air frozen like In aero static. As you see in the video, the balloon drops from the toss up so quickly and you have to toss it in a specific way, unlike in aerostatic. The gimmick doesn’t extract from the balloon like advertised. So you can’t really do the balloon signed. You can see the gimmick pretty easily too.
@@HansonChien I’ve been performing Aerostatic for a year now. When I saw you say that it can be the same singed balloon, I bought the hype and paid an extra 50$ for the rushed shipping. Only to feel scammed, with it being the same basic method, but a far worse one.
For starters: Harlan’s/Richys actually acts like a balloon with its air frozen in time. While frozen you can hit it in the air and go back and forth with your audience. I do this all the time makes it fun. Yours has to be tossed up very specifically and it comes rushing down right away. Unlike Dans,l/Richys where you can toss the balloon back and forth with the audience mimicking the game you played as a kid where the balloon shouldn’t drop to the ground. Yours can’t do that, tossing it up kinda gives it away.
Second
Harlan/Richys you can REALLY stare inside the ballon when it’s stuck in time and notice NOTHING! Doing it with your gimmick and your spectators will see it from outside the balloon and inside. I happen to also be a balloon artist so I inserted the gimmick into a 260 ballon, which allowed it to have the same coating/color as the ballon, which then allows it to be able to be examined inside the same way Harlan/Richys does… but there’s no need for all that extra stuff, for a gimmick that doesn’t work the way it’s advertised. I bought into you hype and spent an extra 50$ to get it rushed, liking the idea I didn’t have to do a balloon switch at the end, and could have it signed. Yet your method is either a switch, or the most difficult way of extracting a gimmick from an object. Again, I work with balloons all the time, so I thought maybe the balloons powder was terrible with the balloons provided…but no every balloon I tried the gimmick with was nearly impossible to extract the gimmick, unless the balloon had been blown up a 5-6 times having so much saliva inside the balloon that the gimmick could finally slip out. Didn’t matter if the gimmick had an extra balloon coated around it, or was the way it came.
I see why penguin isn’t selling Ozone but is selling Crazy sams finger ring which came out a month and a half after Ozone.
I love a lot of your products, left a great review for eye candy, and loved crazy sams finger ring. But Ozone is not good.
I created this effect long time ago. OZONE is just the global release version. In addition, you can clean up and hand over the same balloon to the audience if you want. I've been performing this effect on my Show & Lecture Tour for many years, and I'm sure you'll get great feedback from the audience if you follow the steps in the Tutorial.
@@HansonChien you already said that, which is why I replied back to you, you removed the comment just to put the same comment back 3 days later.
Not even addressing one of the things that make your effect inferior to AeroStatic. Also who’s to say Richy Flo didn’t create aero static before 2012/2013 when you claim to have come up with it. Someone else commented on an other comment on this video, and couldn’t believe you even had the balls to release this since , according to him, the method goes back before the 80’s.
Bottom line, “your” effect is garbage.
SLIPSTREAM: Seriously...Who is going to carry around a stapler??
For the price it's ridiculous. And the move is something I've been doing myself for years for ICTT.
To clarify, since the boys didn't, it is a mini stapler, so it takes up very little space in a pocket. The one I used in the trailer was larger because the day of filming I lost my usual one and we had to quickly acquire a replacement.
The price is based off of years of development to get it right, not to mention the fact that every one of the included gimmicks are handmade. You get all the gimmicks, materials to make your own out of any deck, the stapler, AND four different versions of the effect, one of which is totally gimmickless. The packaging was also an important consideration, so $50 felt right. I completely understand why some people felt that it was too much, though.
@@ericstevensmagicofficial I came up with something extremely similar beginning of last year but I don't publish. Same handling of the corner, uses a small magnet attached to your finger tip w/ 3M to palm the gimmick corner. Corner already has a staple in it and I fake staple the card for effect, the card is held staple to staple because of built up magnetic charge over time. I don't use the effect because a corner torn transposition is much cooler, even though it's so simple.
@@ConTxT that sounds very cool!
Agree with Ozone, great bridging effect or parlor/stage effect., but close-up/stand-alone not so much. First thing spectator is gonna want to do is examine the balloon which has all the heat after the effect.
You can clean up and hand over the same balloon to the audience if you want.
@@HansonChien No doubt there, especially in a parlor type environment. Close up might be a bit more tricky if your spectator is close enough to burn the balloon and your hands. But for my purposes of parlor and corporate events...I'm wanting to grab one.
I hope you get to review Enigma by Christian Grace next week!
I have asked for a review copy but one is not forthcoming.
13:24 Help. Editor! I'd go to the doctor, or fire the designer. Not sure which.
David's belly button gimmick looks real. Great way to ditch coins and cards. 90%
Eric Stevens doesn’t claim the gimmick does all of the work in the trailer.
Correct. He says ‘almost everything’ I believe. It’s a long routine and to imply that the gimmick is responsible for almost everything is disingenuous to the sleight of hand taught by Eric. It is our responsibility as reviewers to point out the realities with the claims of the trailer secondary.
I still feel an amateur that doesn’t want to attempt any sleights at all could get the wrong idea. That is the sentiment behind our review but appreciate your semantic observation.
@@worldmagicshop I understand where you are coming from. The last thing I want to do is lie to a customer or make them feel like I was dishonest. I could have phrased it better.
