Buc-ee's Grand Opening in Hillsboro, Texas

The Buc-ee's chain was founded in Texas in 1982 by owner Arch Aplin. His childhood nickname was Beaver and his dog's name was Buck, so both names were used in the business. Each store is open to customers 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This location on I-35 just one hour south of Dallas/Ft. Worth offers fifty gas pumps for cars with no trucks allowed at Buc-ee's. Their presence in our small town offers great job opportunities to locals and more business to our community. We're excited to welcome Buc-ee's to our small town!

We were able to attend the grand opening of the Sevierville, TN location and got to meet Beaver and so many other people from Buc-ee's. Everyone was so nice and friendly and we just loved the experience of the grand opening. We always stop at Buc-ee's when we see one in our travels. We are getting a location here in our state of Virginia next year. We are so excited and can't wait. Thanks for taking us along to the newest store. Hope we get to visit this location one day!
