Buc-ee's is not a rest stop. They will not let you sleep in your car there. They have security patrolling the parking lot to make sure that you aren't doing that.
The old Buc-ee's is still there in the parking lot. I'm looking for some investors to go in with me to turn it into an inn... Buc-Zzzz's. A Squirrel wearing a night cap will be the mascot. It wouldn't need to offer food as we'll just send the guest next door.
It used to be a quick in and out with a good experience. Now it’s Walmart and it will be 45 min. Nope. Also, whoever thinks this is the Hill Country I have a $10 bag of Beaver Nuggets for you.
not the hill country, also last time i was in a bucees the sodas machines were not clean. the soda was nasty/slimly. not sure why texans dont deep clean their machines. its not just bucees. however, the bathrooms and foods are the best/fresh.
We’ve been to the New Braunfels location twice on trips back from San Antonio. It’s been alright. But their food, like their sandwiches, are so overpriced. And their brisket really does not taste good. I bought a sandwich portion of brisket since I can’t eat the bread, but I did ask for the bread on the side because my son said he would eat it, and since they were already charging me for a sandwich when I was only getting the meat I figured they would do that, but they told me they could not give out the bread for free. I told them it’s not for free since you’re charging me for a sandwich but they said they weren’t allowed to do that. I just said, “ok, that’s weird”, and walked away, but it did make me think differently about their so called “friendliness.”
Of course, they don't do that. There are store protocols. If you just want the meat, buy the entire sandwich & move on. People like you can't just follow the rules. It has to be your way or no way. That's like going to McDonald's & asking for just the meat. It doesn't happen the way you want it. Go home & cook meat without bread.
@theeric McDonald’s will give people just the meat and only charge them for the patties, so I don’t know what you’re going on about. I literally paid for the sandwich but just asked for the bread to be on the side since I cannot eat it. My other family members don’t have issues with gluten like I do, so I figured they could eat what I paid for. But the employees said they can’t give out the bread for free, which again, I paid for bread they just won’t give it to you if you ask for it on the side. I didn’t make a big deal out of it I just said, “okay, that’s weird” and moved on. You acting like I made a big deal out of it when I didn’t is really weird too. Maybe you need to stay off social media for a bit and calm down.
Sorry, but never had any desire to stop at a Buc-ees on my trips between Houston and San Antonio. Too big and too crowded. No place to sit and eat except in your car and get food all over the place. Better places to stop and eat and get gas along the way and enjoy the local flavor. Yeah things are bigger in Texas but I can live without Buc-ees.
Trash cashier's..... 3 different incidents in different stores.... all three were old Karens... hire younger people who don't blame us customer's even after they check the camera on to see who is in the wrong
Correction: Luling is NOT in the Hill Country.
Right you are....lol. I grew up in Nixon about 30 miles south....basically it's the coastal plains....
I was wondering about that.
if Buc-ees and HEB teamed up it would be the mother of all Texas retail collabs
It sounds good, but it's havoc waiting to happen. (Two totally different business mindsets)Too much of a business risk for Buc ees.
At what point does a convenience store become too big to be considered convenient? 🤔 Maybe when they start running a tram for customers.

Idk bout you, but I rest when I get there. It's not a 'come sleep here so you don't have to get a hotel' stop.
True that. I've seen campers "shooed" off from Buc-ee's - it's too bad they don't allow it, but they more than make up for it with everything else.
"Buc-ee's is like Disneyland" - Texans 😂

They have extremely good BBQ sandwiches, check it out!
There was already on in Luling.
People are such fools.
0:06 lol pamps pumps

The world's largest? Is there a Buc-ee's outside of the US?
Haha, even if you had the World's largest turd, and it was in the US, it'd still be the largest.
@@kris10txn Terrible analogy. There are turds throughout the world. Are there Buc-ee's around the world?
@@theotheleo6830 There aren't, but the point remains - biggest is biggest! You could say, the US has the world's largest TEXAS! It's true....
@@kris10txn Nah, it doesn't make sense.

Go in there as person that saves money your looking around at people like noo!!!! dont it lol.
I pity people who have never been to Buc-ees.
I would like to try some of those sandwiches 🥪 and also the beef jerky❤
No place to sit down but the toilets. Buy our over overpriced junk and get the hell out. Real friendly.

Buckeeeeees hates truck drivers
I will give them an A plus in cleanliness but a D- in friendless
They were mean to Wrinkle the duck. I’ll never give them patronage.
Bless you heart you poor child! Buc-ees won't miss you.
Haha it’s not like Disneyland 😂
For the junk food addict maybe.
They support truck drivers filling up at their station.
They should build a theme park!
🍅BOOO🍅

Lulling Hill Country? Not
I dont get the hype people always post pictures of this place but I don't see why
Basically a small kroger
Nothing like Kroger. Buccees is so much better and safer. You also don't get outpriced out of convenience items there.
No it's not!
Yea, it’s overrated.
