    Nice! Good job on the sound booth. What are the dimensions?

      Yes indeed. Tomorrows video shows a few modifications.

    that alcove for 'shelves' looks like a great place for rack mount gear like wireless mic receivers, transmitters for in-ears monitors, power amps, power conditioner, A/V switch, wifi router, lockable drawers for the sensitive things like body packs, headsets, mics, etc. Leave space for reaching under the deck when the day comes to have to swap out a cable that's gone bad, or upgrading the system to newer tech cabling.

    It would also be nice if you could go through the wiring setup for those who are just starting

    Not sure why you blocked of your line of site? Why didn't you insulate the floor? Seems to me the sound booth itself would add sound to the room....

    When you first star making the frame what length are the blocks that go inside the frame

    Looks a solid job! I'd appreciate that as our church's sound guy!
    Looks like a cool place to worship.

    Roughly around how much did it cost in material if you remember for this project, I know that material cost have changed, but just a rough estimate would be great for me.

    • @LandtoHouse
      @LandtoHouse  ปีที่แล้ว

      The materials were actually donated from someone. I am not sure how to judge the cost of this project.

    Any dimensions? I am thinking of building one 8 feet by 4 Feet. How high of the original floor? What size floor joists?

      I guess they could code it in the music and we could try and figure it out from the notes.

    I have a space similar to that how high off the ground is the platform? What's was the estimate price of this project?

    • @LandtoHouse
      @LandtoHouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's around 18" tall I think. The price of the platform is hard to judge because the sidding was free. I should think around $100 for the base.

      Rather than copy this one, design it to fit your space. It's just a raised platform with walls and a countertop. Where in the room will the operators have a good sight-line, will they be standing or sitting, how high is the ceiling, how high up will they need to be to see over people's heads, where will your cables run, how will you access the cables when the rodents chew through one and it has to be pulled out and replaced, or you upgrade the system and need to add 10 runs of CAT5, etc.
