Use OBS to record with your VTuber or another program. Filmora is only for editing, OBS does NOT do editing. You will need to record using OBS and edit with Filmora!

I am using a macbook air and it only gives me the option to screenshot. I have messed around with the settings a bit and it's looking like I will need to buy a webcam to be able to record. just want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing before I go and buy one just in case the webcam isn't the solution and I happened to miss something instead.
Okay... I give this one a try. I've had issues trying Wakaru and less issues with VSeeFace. Not to mention VMagicMirror due to my scroll wheel's button being defective (I used a different mouse to fix my avatar's position). Since you're recommending this like you did with VMagicMirror, I'll give it a shot. But overall this is a good tutorial.

I kinda have a question about the background? What's the difference between using an image or using a transparent background? Does it come out as higher quality or smthn? I'm just a little confused😅
So transparent allows your character exist on its own. This means if you are using a program like OBS or Streamlabns OBS you can have anything running in that be the background instead of a still image. While a image will be that image and not change unless you manually change it. Does that help answer your question?

If I'm having very jerky movement (like, lots of delay and jumps from position to position) it's most likely cause my webcam sucks right? I know my webcam sucks but I'd rather check if it isn't something to do with options cause I'd hate to buy a new webcam and realize it doesn't solve anything xD But after watching the video and not finding anything that could relate to that (and fiddling with the options too) I'm pretty sure it's just my webcam being trash xD
I would try Vseeface, vmagic mirror, and vup first to see if ur camera is the problem or not. It could be something with 3tene, but try those other programs first!
So im new to 3tene and i made a character and i found A really cool spot to put him and im afraid i wont remember is it possible to save him to that 1 specific spot so every time i open 3tene its at that spot?
I don’t think you can save spots unfortunately. Maybe you can take a screenshot of where he is so you can move him as close as possible or use that screenshot as like a background to line him up if that makes sense
Which program is better? SLOBS or OBS? Also, VSeeFace doesn't really track my movement no matter what camera I'm using even when I have the latest update. Are there any tips for that?

CelticVIking I’m not sure if there’s a way to change it in 3tene but I know I streamlabs you can change to 60 FPS which will make it nice and smooth, I will check today and get back to you

It just dawned on me XD well 3tene is one of my favourite software of all time for vtubing, but the only problem I have XD is that I need to record with obs as well because recording with just 3tene for some reason it doesn't record audio even though it lip syncs with my mic
3tene is able to be on Mac but when you try to open it it'll try to open via Vroid studio and it'll say "Vroid doesn't support type of file" 3tene is in a 'msi' file so how can I fix it? or is there another way for mac users to become a vtuber?

3tene is able to be on Mac but when you try to open it it'll try to open via Vroid studio and it'll say "Vroid doesn't support type of file" 3tene is in a 'msi' file so how can I fix it? or is there another way for mac users to become a vtuber?
