Sketchy Gaps On Hidden Trails At Bike Park Wales!

- Bike Park Wales is one of the busiest bike parks in the UK, with tens of thousands of riders sampling it's range of trails every year. While there are some popular favourites like the A470 Line, Popty Ping, and Rim Dinger, Blake heard tell of some lesser spotted trails featuring huge gaps, technical features, and fun transfers. Those three things combined are usually a recipe for a good time, so he didn't need much convincing to head over to @BikeParkWalesOfficial and sample them for himself!

I feel like most of those trails aren’t that hidden, I was up there the other week and they’re all clearly marked on the map, I think they just don’t get ridden much cause they’re too difficult for most people. Good video tho
Honestly they look so well made on camera they probably are super easy. Looks like a lotta fun to me 🎉

Best hidden trail I've ever ridden (not that most people who have been probably will know it 😅) is the triple black under the gondola at super morzine. Caught me off guard a few times 😂😂

Maybe I need to add that to my bucket list of trails. I need gate away from this Texas heat.
I find with bikeparks, riders are sometines obsessed with either a full run or not stopping on trails to check out features, so may miss these trails out for the easier ones to avoid stopping. Even trying to fit as many different trails in as possible so dont get better on that one trail. . I found the best way to deal with a track you may struggle with is to go down, check out an awkward section , ride that bit, repeat for the next awkward bit. Then a full run is more flowing and your prepared for the difficult features. Like sessionig a dh track. Yes you may do less trails in a day but youll smash out a trail you may not think you can do.

At 5:00 the trail goes to the right, I think the "lilypad" is only for lunatics that would double the whole thing.
They don’t get ridden much because most riders simply aren’t good enough.
All grass track, round the first turn and it is dirt and rocks, see the dirt gouge, that is your track you went to the wrong side.

There's no better feeling than jumping on my hard tail Vitus nucelas (😂😂) with 160mm rockshox ( it came with 100mm suntour😂😂) standing at the start of a trail I've never done and just opening it up and sending it without knowing what's round the next bend, it makes me feel rather alive. 😂😂 No big crash yet just a free hub explosions which was my own fault, riding with rear tyre pressure too high!
Ps, you don't need a overpriced 10k trail bike, this just proves that. Get out there on what you can afford and send it. Life's for living!
