I definitely remember watching that scene in syndication. I watched those episodes back in the 70’ probably 40-50 times each. I watched Gillian’s island every single day back then. Thanks for the videos!
This is all about what kinds of confessions I'm making. Did you notice that the Alley Oop Oola was never the 10,000 B.C. Moovian cave woman at first? These 2 scientists: Dr. Wonmug and Oscar have used her as a laboratory test subject. There was only one Alley Oop comic strip panel segment that was never released to the public. It depicts Oola covering up her naked bosoms while Alley Oop's pet dinosaur is covering up her naked vulva. Did Alley Oop's enemy cave men who are called the Lemmians took her clothes while she was sleeping, or did these wild insects eat away at her clothes while she was sleeping? 😴 💤 🛌 🛏 😪 😴 🦕 😄 😀 😎 😜 😉 🦕
My brother and I really loved watching Gilligans Island...and in 1967 I was 4 so I definitely remember watching theses first run episodes but at 61 years old the details are starting to drop out...but since we religiously watched the show..I know I saw the unedited ending..but doggone It! I just couldn't remember it clearly until you just showed it! Thank you for bringing a good memory back.... I lost my brother in 2022.
I have seen it many years ago in the 70s when regular reruns played. I found it funny that they already seemed to have dishes made of a breakable material. Ginger also got into trouble with the costume jewelry she made and wore when the girls talked the Professor into letting them use some of it for less practical things! Love the shot you framed of the three men doing the Three Wise Monkeys pose, Rick! Haha!
I have the entire DVD set and this scene is on it. Did you notice how the Professor, Gilligan and the Skipper all did the hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil bit? That was funny. Incidentally if I thought your channel was crap I wouldn't watch it, let alone subscribe. I like it. It's fun.
That was to me that was the best one....They all didn't want Gilligan to be alone in the storm...and in the storms of life you find out who your true friends and family are...The way they huddled around Gilligan, was the first time I realized they were a family.
It’s always interesting to hear how scenes were removed, but later out back in at another time. Thank you for the video Rick, I hope you’re doing well. Take care!
Rick, I seem to recall half of the deleted scene. I remember the part where the Professor uses melted pennies for fillings. But I have no recollection of the latter part where the monkey and Mary Ann enter the scene.
Rick, thank you for posting this episode, I remember it from when it first aired in the 1960’s. There is a map on the hut wall that I don’t remember seeing in any episode before, do you recognize where it is a map of… Thanks for all your hard work making your videos, I really enjoy watching them.
I remember that scene when the monkey threw the plate, and the plate broke. Thanks to greedy TV networks, any 26 minute or so episode of the 60s and 70s is now about 20 or 22 minutes due to advertising commercials, and the viewers are short-changed.
Yeah Rick, I remember that scene...however, I am old enough that I used to watch Gillian's Island when it was current in the 1960's🤨😁 PS: The black and white drawing of you at the end of this post looks fantastic!!
OKAY....I HAVE seen that last scene, but I don't recall the dialogue about the pennies. I will pay attention to that next time I see it. I see this scene every time I see this episode, but I may have missed the part about the pennies......I'm on autopilot maybe??? Great video, as always. Love this monkey too, by the way. He shows up when the 'evil doctor' shows up and takes everyone to his castle!
I couldn't imagine, as Gilligan, having to use my feet to generate power to run a dentist's drill to replace my fillings! The professor did and built a lot of amazing things while on that island, but could not build a boat! I guess that was Bob Denver's running joke with the professor that with all the professor was able to build, he could not build...
Hey Rick I've had the DVD's so long I can't remember! It is possible that the copper scene was removed for more commercials. I do remember that channel 50 from Detroit would cut out complete scenes to put in more commercials. When I got the DVD's of GI it was great because I got to see these deleted scenes. It kinda made me feel like I was seeing the episodes for the first time!
I stay awake at night trying to figure out why a Millionaire and his wife AND a Movie Star would be on that crappy boat. Wouldn't they be on their own yacht? Drives me nuts
I have an answer! They all showed up early for yacht parties. Their yachts weren't there yet, they had 3 or 4 hours to kill, so they went on a 3 hour tour! Same with the Professor, he was waiting for a ship to the Galapagos islands but arrived early.
I was thinking about having a human being look like the monkey that was throwing around those plastic explosives. I got this idea from the Alley Oop comic strip series. I never liked any of the comic strip stories David Graue wrote and drew. I definitely cheered like the way the 3 Stooges Curly Howard is going."WOOBWOOBWOOBWOOBWOOBWOOBWOOBWOOB." Over his death. It's about when David Graue died of a heart attack while he was driving out on the freeway. An 18-wheeler struck him in a head-on collision. "I'M HAVING A HEART ATTACK, AIEE." I fantasized about David Graue uttering that while driving out on the freeway. ⚰️ 🏞 🚗 👍 👌 💛 😙 🥰 ☺️ 👍 🍻💡 🐒 🙈 🙊 😕 🤔 😅 🐒

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. I never noticed that back then, but what do I know. I was 9 or something. Nice going Rick.

Also liked the 10th episode of season 2, where Gilligan gets a filling knocked out by the Skipper & his mouth becomes a radio. Great show!

I remember this episode. Thanks Rick
Definitely a lot of monkey business going on in this episode! 😂 It does well
to support your theory on GI being a live action cartoon. 👍🏻
Great video Rick! ❤
Awesome video, great episode, yes I've seen it ,have series on DVD.
The series went out with a bang...
Loved your Season 2 Top 10 of Gilligan, Rick. Do you have plans to do a Season 3 Top 10 list?
Don't worry I'm subscribed to your channel 😊
I seen this episode. And I did see all the scenes you mentioned. The whole episode was funny.

Saw it in the 70s. Dozens of times.
it is one of my faves

I've seen the episode before. I don't remember seeing the lost footage. I remember the episode ending when
Gilligan blows up the hut.

Ninegin little buddy! Here is your comment.
