Illidan: Muhahahaha! Now that I'm the ruler of Outland, I've obtained an army of Fel Orcs, Demons, and even Akama's Broken Draenei. Kael: Shall we bring them along as well to kill the Lich King? Illidan: Nah.
Illidan: Magtheridon, once I defeated you, give up your Fel Orcs and Demonic forces to me. Magtheridon: What if I don’t? Illidan: You are definitely not prepared.
I both liked and disliked this finale. Kil'jaeden looks amazing, but I miss him "glancing" at Kael and Vashj like they are children hiding behind mom's back when her friend comes home :D
You know, I'd really have liked to start this mission with those thirty-something guys that get thrown in the grinder in successive waves at the beginning of the mission. But that's Kael'thas, master strategist for you!
I like how they made a model for the flesh golems in dalaran that looks like a Diablo creature, and they used the regular abomination model for the Butcher
yes it was supposed be like how Mannoroth gave his blood to the orcs during Invasion of Kalimdor storyline but the fel power of the orcs faded after he died.
Jay you missed some crates nooooooooooooo. Nevertheless great video buddy, can't wait for the undead campaign. Are you going to make a playthrough of Rexxar's campaign too ? Wow it seems kil'jaeden has been working out ( look at his arms ). I also love the fact that Illidan's tattos change color based on his team color.
The royal guard arent upgraded witch they were in vanilla, update : the item/ area you forgot are on the left were there is the "L" line of water more toms and where you killed the hydra with vashj at the start drestoying some rock gives you an hank of rincanetion.
Lol I'm not nearly as good a player as you, Jay, but I always enjoyed King Arthas and never found it overly difficult. I guess that kind of mission suited my style of playing somehow
Blizz has been pretty inconsistent with it, but it seems like sending through Kael and Vashj's relatively small armies is something he could pull off, but opening something on the scale of the dark portal, which would be big enough and strong enough for the fel orcs, draeni, demons, etc... would require assistance - assistance that you'd think Kil'Jaeden or Kael'thas and his mages could provide...but apparently not.
What I would do here is play it safe and let the heroes on the left do most of the fighting, getting gold coins, killing enemies, reaching max food limits early, More naga myrmidon, a few sirens, some snap dragons and dragon turtles, more spell breakers and priests, gather as many units as possible to fight Magtheridon in the end.
Actually there's a way to bring over the Naga onto the left right around the first base u destroyed on Kael's side where there's a fountain on the other side of some trees. U have to flame pillar those trees & get ur Naga swin across to the fountain, that's all.
It really pains me to see him not droping the mask on illidan i mean DUDE you know how much chaos that fucking lifesteal can make in last mision of frozen throne dont you?
I’m about 90% sure his items do not carry on to that mission as he picks up new stuff from the creeps he kills around the map. In any case, the harder the better for a walkthrough!
@@RKO859 Actually it kinda was. In-game of course he never brings his newly conquered forces to Northrend as others are already mocking, but from the start the "plan" was to run away and hope Kil'jaeden _doesn't_ find him that quickly. Always good to leave behind troops to defend conquered territories :P
@@RolandAxforde better than getting slaughtered and being mortally wounded literally few feet away from the victory..
Kael: If your plan fails to defeat the Lich King, I’ll go with Kil’jaeden or better yet, Maiev.
@@superfrycook6360 I don't remember Kael going back to Maiev though
Black Temple
Always felt bad for those spell breakers who got sent in to die thirty seconds before Akama arrived
That's how You got Your forces outnumbered Kael.
Spell breakers can be just produced in seconds lol
Unknown BeingAgain Elves reproduce asexually with magic, so I guess you’re right...
I feel that seeing his forces rally and hype themselves up from behind the heroes would be a better scene than this.
Same. I always found that scene funny 😂😂😂
Illidan: "I was merely set back!"
Kael'thas: "Hey, I like the sound of that. I should use it someday."
Illidan: Magtheridon, once I defeated you, give up your Fel Orcs and Demonic forces to me.

magtheridon be like are you the health inspector of the legion have you been sent to test me

"I am pleased by your people's zeal, young Kael." (turns away) "oh god he's wasted half his army, this guy's a complete imbecile"
You know what the hardest part is that those spell breakers that died were created by me
Oh how I wish that Blizz could've remade the scenarios from WoW and include it in Reforge, now that would be great.
They did say they were thinking about put more content into the game, but I think we'll have to wait for it to be finished first.
I like how they made a model for the flesh golems in dalaran that looks like a Diablo creature, and they used the regular abomination model for the Butcher
39:34 Illidan standing on top
Lady Vashj: keep your head down fool :))
iirc. The only reason Illidan didn't kill Magtheridon was because he was the source of the Fel Orcs' Fel energy.

Fair enough!
Why Illidan goes without his demons to destroy the frozen throne? 🤔
Too cold.
@@Poputrash hmmm yeah what a good reason tbh
He need a abyss amount of power to cross his demon like forces to northrend but he doesn't have it so he met his undoing

Jay, you keeping Illidan's Immolation ability active constantly while out of combat really irks me lol.
I do it way less than I used to at least :)
1:15 Black comedy gold
you are the best Jayborino and you should play Legacy of the damned
You'll see it tomorrow!
I will be waiting you
One time I try to stack mermidon and naga siren to make a royal guard
Time-stamp
14:25, 15:10 - sending the dranei behind enemy lines
Really like this mission always have alwys takes me over an hour cuz i get every single thing hehe GG m8
So why Akama betrayed illeden in the end
Akama realized that Black Citadel/Temple and Outland only changed its master, Nothing More.
I still hear "We draenei fucked the orcs for generations" every time...
Garona would like a word
You fought against Magtherion right next to the rune of greater resurrection, you could've revived the Naga Royal Guard if they died.
32:08 they didn't even fix the Master of Pain! He still doesn't do any damage with his attacks :'(
I think The doom beasts were called Hydra before
Are Rend and Maim both Groms in this version? In the original, Rend was the red Blademaster. Odd choice.
Am I crazy or did The Butcher use the old Abomination model?
31:23 wait ur own unit kill the tank friendly fire??

have you heard about Shadow tactics: blades of the shogun? that game may be more challenging than this relic.
So what Illidan had done all this time was all for nothing?
Uh no. He secured all of outland. So he has forces to take on Arthas
